As a Designer I think the Logo while controversial was thoughtful as it breaks the monotonous SUGEES inscribed in the rehault/chapter ring and again on the dial.
I am truly impressed by this Little Gem.
Am a SEIKO FAN BOY but Ali Express has nice pieces worth buying and even gifting to friends/family.

Day and date quick switch looks cool. Especially compared to NH36 that does it for almost 4 hours.

Considering a high beat movement is 5hz or above, interesting name they gave the watch 🤔. 28,800 BPH is Swiss standard.
Ah youve touched on an interesting point here. Even seiko only acknowledge 5hz as high beat and nothing lower. However anything higher than 3hz is considered hi beat now a days

I'm never going to change the bracelet on this one, the black has different batons, which I rather like. Agree about the logo, and I hate the high beat in lower case and automatic in caps. But, Zee, in the back of my mind I'd always know that I didn't buy the San Martin with the MOP dial that you reviewed a couple of years ago. Still loving your work bro

Cloned case and movments are the last thing I want. Homages are one thing clones another.
Same thing in the Aliexpress world IMO, they look at same with different branding

To each his own, I guess. Personally, I don't think the script logo will fit a dress watch. Script is more playful and not as dignified.
Why wouldnt you set the day and date between AM hours? What if i order this watch and its AM hours. Does this mean i have to wait untill PM to setup the watch?
It's between approx 10pm and 3/4am, this is when the mechanism is going through the day/date and as its all connected it will break something

Looks well made and at a decent price. That said, I think 38mm max for this style. Also I am moving more towards saving for recognized brand original designs or, at least, homages of unavailable models or less known watches. Regards
I completely agree with you on the logo/S. I don't like the polished top of the lugs or the horrible bezel, but we can't blame Sugess for that, and these wear big so 38mm would be better. Cloned case rang alarm bells for me, it is sad that while some Chinese brands make original watches, and some homages with a twist, there are still factories making clones/fakes. Hearing Sugess are happy to buy parts from these shady companies or even make ¨clones¨ themselves will put me off buying from them.
I wouldn't deep it that much bro, its all the same anyway. What a clone case tells me that it's a higher grade case and / or movement, so you're getting a little more for your money as opposed to an inferior case from the same place roughly. The case is still branded sugess in the rehaut/crown n bracelet.

I really would love to know for sure which brands are linked and which factories make which watches including for major brands from Switzerland and elsewhere. It would be fascinating 😁
@dunderhay9169 Yeah, it would, but do you think they'd want that information public! Hell no, brand devaluation. I know Roley has their crowns from china and im sure there must be other things too. CW get their cases/bracelets from China.
