- What’s poppin’ everybody😎 these are all the tools that are needed to start your welding journey.

Wanted to add the short barrel comes in handy whenever the cut is close to the walls on a tie in. I made my own bridge with a donut to fit an a band and crawler so I can run a short barrel. If you’re going to use a long barrel I’d get the knuckle so torch can lay flat in band and crawler. Great content man!
Thats a little more advanced this was BARE ASS minimum lol

I need to get out there in the field and start welding pipe, i can pass a plate test never tested on pipe , i have lots to learn , how much can helpers make out there?
Average pay is 15/hr and 100/day perdiem when good helper pay is 15/hr 125/day perdiem

Is it easy to get into a pipeline project or is it all networking? Are there contract agencies that you use to find new pipeline projects to apply to?
It’s mostly networking man you gotta know somebody nowadays you cant just go apply. Plant/refinery work is a bit different just depends where you’re looking to work

Break out to me means breaking out from helper to welder
So you have to test at every job site and how often? Or do you test once on a yearly basis?
Test once every time you are going to weld for a different gas company, sometimes you only test once and finish a 4 month job. Sometimes you test 4 days straight just deoends on companies, usually its only once before every project

Had this spacer since I broke out! Almost 2 years lol Aren’t you just an old pro, I wondered why none of your tools look used. I watched your rig tour video and that’s a nice truck but please stop trying to act like your gods gift to this line of work...
Stay blessed man! I was proud of still having this spacer i passed my first test with it of course im proud of it! I never said once i was the best or an “old pro” im just a young cat having fun doing what alot of these older guys aren’t showing the next gen of welders! Like i said stay blessed!
