Best video thanks
Thank you for your demonstration of this! God bless!
You're welcome, Leahcim! 🙂
Nice video I didn't learnt it in school
You're very welcome!
Conceptually I really like what you are demonstrating here. I'm confused by your lines though. The clay layer looks like debris that has settled like a pile of very small sticks - just like the layer floating on the water surface tension layer, and I can't see any definitive line you are pointing out between the sand and silt layers. I even played it on a large screen to see if the detail you are identifying would show better but I just don't see it. ??
for those who missed the underscore when typing in the address of the soil texture calculator - here is the link: www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/detail/soils/survey/?cid=nrcs142p2_054167
Thank you, Fleanis! Much appreciated!
What if the water still muddy after i leave it to settle for 1 day, should i assume that the top of water line is the clay layer line or does it shows otherwise, that the clay is not present in my soil? Is it possible to have only 1 layer in my soil?
I would still wait for the clay to settle. I can take a couple of weeks or more.
Thanks
