I'm so sorry that so many people are being shitty to you - you'd think that in the body modifying community, someone modifying their body would be an easy sell! Your series on this is really helping me refine my own transition goals - your expertise and thoroughness are so helpful, and I am very grateful that you've decided to make this.
I'm nb too and I don't have any transition ideas in mind, but watching you talk about the specific ways that you modify your body is still inspiring and uplifting. It can be difficult to know what can cause gender euphoria and how you want to present gender wise and I'm happy with how much space you take up. Watching you discuss these things in-depth despite the backlash is so important. 🌈
I'm really sorry your journey has been so difficult. Your content has had a huge effect on my life. You gave me the words to express why I want certain body mods. Those words helped my partner understand how I need to take back control of my body. The parts that my abusers took. It helped my partner explore their interest in body mods too with clothing and hair dye. Its really really nice to see you continue to mold your body into what you need, despite the shit opinions of others. I hope that no matter what, you understand you are valid and you deserve love and you are loved. You have given so many people strength to continue being genuine to themselves be proud of that. I feel so privileged to see you grow. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing this part of yourself.
I'm envious of the fact that you have no anxiety about surgery. I'm super anxious and that, plus the financial aspect, are pretty much the main reasons I havent gotten top surgery. I love watching videos like this tho because its so cool getting to see people create themselves :') excited for you, I hope the healing goes quickly!
I think it’s really amazing that you’re documenting your experience and the ins and outs with us. I’m so sorry that people within your life have been unsupportive. My partner is nonbinary and all of your videos about gender and your experience have helped me better understand my partner. Thank you for that. I know people can be shitty, but you’re doing so much good for your community and within the piercing industry. ❤
Hey. I just want you to know that you sharing your experiences and transition with the world is such an inspiration. It's made me feel less alone in the world and I'm so SO happy for you that you've been able to realize this dream. I can't even imagine what it must feel like to have to beat back the vitriol of folks dumping their own issues on you but it will get better and there's a bunch of us out here rooting for your safe recovery and joy. Sending
Props to Colin, props to you, you badass! You look amazing. You’re gonna feel amazing once you heal up. So glad you’re doing okay! Also, just a thing I’m gonna throw out there, I had to fix my notifications on your channel because I wasn’t getting them from your channel. Weird algorithm blip, maybe tell your followers to also check. Anyway, alll the love, affirmations that you’re doing the right thing for you, and happy holidays if you celebrate! ✌️
I think people are weird because trans right are kinda on trial in America. Many people think that being a model minority or the perfect trans person is the right/only way to get those rights. I think that people should modify their body and live their life in the ways that makes them happiest. I hope you find people who support you. Hopefully some of your people are having an emotional reaction and will come around and treat you and people like you better in the future. You deserve happiness. Take care of yourself.
these videos documenting your affirming surgery, prep and recovery, i appreciate them so much. im not sure im on the same trajectory as you in remolding myself to fit my nonbinary-ness but it helps broaden the scope of what i think of as possible. much love
As an agender transmasc person, I have faced transmedicalists head on, and have been removed from 10+ trans spaces because I’m not a binary trans man. I would get removed after simply saying that I’m not binary, but will be medically transitioning. People saying I’m taking resources from “real” trans men, just a confused teenager (even though I’ve been out since I was 12, and I’m 19 now) etc etc. With all that preface, I want to say this; thank you Lynn. Thank you for being a voice for us. Thank you for being open and honest, and for talking about the hate and vitriol that comes from our own community. Thank you for creating a safe space and a loving community. You are an amazing person, you are valid, and the hate you’ve received is not justified. You have done nothing wrong by making your body into a comfortable place to exist. What you do is so important. We love and support you, and you deserve a break if you feel the need. ❤️
People come down hard on those who transition publically, but the saying still holds true: You can't be what you can't see. If you hadn't been so open about your transition goals, I probably would never have been brave enough to try HRT, or even get the breast reduction I've wanted since high school. It's insane that people want to give you (or anyone, for that matter) shit for taking control of your life. It's like getting mad at someone for treating their depression.
1:33 yo that’s crazy cause im the same way 😂 first time i was put under was for wisdom tooth removal (all 4) and i remember honestly being excited frankly lmao
omg i want this too but i have like 2 friends that will support me in that and they are online friends. the rest of my circle will just call me mentally ill

I don't understand how anyone can be so judgemental to someone who is simply trying to feel good in their own skin.
