Shinedown is a band that has many mental health songs. "Get Up" (the acoustic version is particularly powerful) would be a good one to react to. As well as "Daylight," "State of My Head," and "Dysfunctional You." There are many more songs that I could add from Shinedown.

Daylight is about healing from depression.

Also off of the "Planet Zero" album, "A Symptom of Being Human" really emphasizes an aspect of mental health

Enemy, bully, monsters, cut the cord, state of my head, devil, and devour are a great representation of Shinedown as individuals singing of the demonstration of the human personality and nature. I've been a fan since the early 2000's and I have to say they speak loudly and clearly on personality and mental awareness. It's almost unreal how well they put into words what it means to feel anger, anguish, guilt, severity, and above all the awareness of what it means to be a person whom has problems that need to be faced. If you truly listen to the lyrics of Second Chance specifically you can hear and feel the disappoint and disapproval his parents felt but the love they may have left for him and the fact that they convey it so clearly is astounding.

I think it's her brother, the video is two-fold, in my opinion. "Goodbye" is her second chance for a happier life, chasing her dreams. But, it's also the parents second chance to be better for the little boy. Essentially her saying goodbye changed both outcomes for her and her brother

This song is about Brent (the singer) and how he had to say goodbye to hos family and pursue his music career. And his mom said: I dont know what you want to do, but what I do know is that if you stay here it will destroy you.
    Very good song!
Like many people already said, Shinedown make alot about mental health.
One of my favorite is Burning Bright. Great song!

Monsters, Get Up, .45, Dead Don't Die, Save Me, Sound of Madness.... This band is all about mental health and I have loved them for it for 20 years 💜
Edit:: I absolutely love how much you enjoyed this 😊 As a long time fan of Shinedown, seeing you appreciate the music as a whole was awesome.

Love this reaction! Shinedown is on of my favorites. You should do more Shinedown. There is Monsters, Daylight, Special, Get Up, Bully. Basically all their albums. They have promoting mental health in their music for over a decade (direct words from the main singer) and they are just incredible.

Save Me, Through The Ghost, Sound of Madness, Monsters, Crow and the Butterfly, Daylight, How Did You Love, Burning Bright, .45, Get Up, Special, Cut the Cord….
You can’t really go wrong in terms of musicality and mental health and lyricism with Shinedown’s reportoire.

My Therapist told me and recommended Shinedown's Album " Attention Attention" She said the proceeds from that Album went to Mental Health :) There are a lot of songs about Mental Health, especially on said Album. Hope that helps.

I think it's her brother. It looks like a situation where the parents are fighting to make their business work (possibly their dream business) and it's gotten to the point that they are viewing their kids as automatically sharing their goals rather than having their own interests (The bills the mother was showing the daughter was probably her talking about how much more it would cost the business to hire someone than have her continuing helping for free because the mother views it as the daughter investing time into a business she will eventually take over.) It's pretty clear both kids have interests that are far outside the fish place their parents run (with the daughter's being ballet and the son's being cars) and the parents are too focused in on their business succeeding to give the kids room to pursue their interests. She needed to leave before she ended up feeling stuck and resenting them, and they needed a wake-up call that their kids are people with real goals and interests outside what their parents do.

I still would like to see a reaction to Maynard James Keenan's "Judith"-Trilogy. Which means the song "Judith" by A Perfect Circle and Wings for Marie / 10,000 Days by Tool. All three songs are part of MJK mourning over the death of his mother.

Sometimes I don't like videos because they take away from the actual deeper meaning. That song was a very good song the video is kind of a distraction. I told my family to beat sand at 52. I do not regret it. My wife and I are great.
