I love Telfar bags especially in the airport. I got sick of being one of many women in the airport with a Neverfull bag. The larger Telfar bag is the perfect carry on and it's a vibe. I would love it if Telfar made the straps removable and gave us options of customizable straps much like the Dior saddle bags. It would be dope if they gave us wallets, card holders, and pochettes. Telfar is a brand and style that is for us by us and I stand for it! ✊🏾✊🏾
I have purchased four (4) Telfar bags - my daughter asked for one two Christmas’ ago to carry her school books. Only a mother’s love had me stay online as long as I did! The next year she asked for the small silver tote for nights out on the town. Yes - I went through the crazy purchase process again! The Telfar bag is a huge hit with the young ladies on HBCU campuses. I did purchase a black Telfar Ugg medium tote for myself. I do love the Telfar/Ugg tote (minus the dangling strap!) but I have only used it once. I normally carry a Louis Vuitton bag and as my LV collection grows my other brand bags are rarely used. I can’t compare my $200 Telfar vegan leather tote to my $3,000 LV tote! There’s a time and a place for everything. I am happy to support black designers and just purchased an Ashya sling bag that I’m looking forward to carrying on a cruise.
Those longer straps gonna get on your nerves all stiff and all over the place when you just want to use the tote straps. I’m not saying it isn’t a nice product or a nice company, but over the screen I am not seeing luxury.

Telfar is a vibe. Ordering on release days can work a nerve. The best time to order is during the Bag Secure event even though the drawback is that 2-4 month delivery window. I also think he needs to make the Duffle and the Round bags in other colors. A pretty good tote (IN MY OPINION) is the Saint Laurent solid Black Rive Gauche. The Black on Black makes it most practical.
I have 3 bags (small red, medium olive and small Ugg in chestnut). I use my small bags for brunches and nights out. They fit my essentials perfectly. The medium is the perfect size for carrying my laptop and it also works great as a beach bag. The straps on the medium remind me of tentacles. I have a love-hate relationship with them because they are not detachable. They work great for carrying the bag on my shoulders when it’s heavy, otherwise they just get in the way. I really love that the bags come in a variety of sizes and fun, beautiful colors. I am also happy to support a black owned business. But I will admit that the vegan leather bags are not the best quality, especially given the price. In my opinion, the best quality bags are the collab bags (with Moose knuckles and Ugg). But they are sold at a higher price point. Some people complain that the bags are cheap, but forget that he does offer some better quality and fully leather options. The problem is that many don’t want to pay that premium. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
If you’re familiar with Telfar most people know the ordering process is a gamble. You ordered during the Rainbow 🌈 event so most people know they would have to wait several weeks. The small is tiny the medium is a great size to load up with stuff. Very comparable to the MJ Tote bag but I think the tote bag is a better way to go. I believe with your vast collection you may not reach for that much. They’re nice bag to have for the hype and to support the brand. I have orange medium too! Enjoy

Hello, great channel! The drop on Sept 23 was a special event rainbow drop. On TELFAR’s website and on their IG page they did in fact advise of the shipping times ahead of time and all during and leading up to the time of purchase. On a regular drop day (not their special events) you receive your bag in a week’s time. I have about 12 bags and my daughter, we love them because they’re very beautifully pigmented and fun colors. I order from all brands as well but their CS is top notch as well. The Ugg collab bags are the best IMO. I can’t wait to see how you rock your orange.
I have all the sizes of the shopper tote, out of all of them I use the medium one the most. My laptop and daily essentials fit in the medium without being too bulky. The large one Is great for traveling, you can fit a lot in there comfortably, I absolutely love the orange and cobalt blue colors you chose!

I agree when I order something , I would like it as soon as possible because it took a second to take my money from my acct.. I have a Telfar Olive med handbag, haven’t worn yet ordered a yr ago still packaged .When I placed that order I received the bag within two days when I lived in Florida. Now Rainbow drop , I ordered a large Bronze Tefar handbag , sent an email stating I have a 100 credit with an apology, and my bag will be delivered between now -Nov. 21. Still not expecting it on Nov 21 because I’m overseas, so I’ll see how that goes. I will be using my bag for the beach, or taking trips , picnics . Thanks for sharing your thoughts as well.

hmmm..i don't know about this one Marquita...to me, the small one has too much going on (handles) for being so small or they should have made the smaller handles drop down. On the larger one, I feeling the handles are still too much and i agree they should be removable. I do like the color on the big tote . I'd be interested to see how it looks after it gets filled up. I love the bag and I’m a fan. I have a medium rose gold, a small red, painter’s tape (royal blue), cobalt blue, rose gold and chocolate. Lol, and I still want a few more in the medium. I do like the color of the small bag. I think the orange one is nice with your shoes. I bought my daughter a small black one and I ended up getting the UggxTelfar medium tote because it’s not plastic, it’s a cloth material. I still haven’t used it and it wasn’t a huge hassle when I ordered either of them. Hope you enjoy your new bags!

I had to send your channel to my best friend she has so many Louis Vuitton bags like you lol. But I’m shocked at the messages in the comments however we can all feel the way we feel. I have two Telfar bags and they are different but not horrible to me. The straps were the biggest problem for me and the size of the mini. Even with my Gucci mini I can still put my key pouch in there with my phone. With the Telfar mini it’s packed to the max when I do that. While I am a small bag girl the minis weren’t my cup of tea but the bags weren’t horrible. When I pay a certain price I know what I’m getting. When I purchased my Prada re-edition I expected a 1400 crossbody. (Even though everything transfers on to my black bag) With Telfar I expect a 150 bag. I have two medium totes they are fun colorful bags. Got my bonus daughter a small from the rainbow drop she loves it. I checked out in 10 minutes I had an alarm set. It was delivered in 2-3 weeks. I just came back from SpelHouse Homecoming in ATL, all the college kids had a bag it was so dope to see. Telfar is a marketing genius.
I have three Telfar bags a small orange, medium cream (my favorite), and a large in the color hazard. I use my cream as my work bag , the large is uncomfortable it hangs too low for a short person so I ended purchasing a large canvas Marc Jacob tote in electronic orange which is very comfortable to carry heavy stuff in. I am wanting to purchase small Telfar in cream and black because they hold a lot to be so small. I stop carrying my LV bags because there are so many fakes out there people assume that mines are fake because of my teacher’s salary 😂
I own three (small eggplant, medium cobalt blue and a medium pink). The small is too small for me. I use the other totes as over night bags. The colors are vibrant and the bags are durable enough for what I use them for. I really want the Marc Jacobs tote in leather.

Hello Marquita, I have the orange medium tote and I have carried it once. I like the orange it’s the best color they have. I will not be ordering another bag I had the experience and like you it’s was horrible checking out.
I got the Azalea Medium color from the rainbow sale. It’s nice, but it shipped late and they gave me a $100 credit for the trouble which was nice… but I wish it had come on time
Both bags are gorgeous! The only reason I don't have one is that ordering process, I don't want to say my expectations are too high because I think for how they are represented they need to step it up a notch.
I just don’t get the hype with telfar! They just seem kind of cheap looking to me but they’re super trendy right now. The orange color is beautiful but those straps would bug me!
Why did you bags take so long? Did you order during some special promotion? I’ve ordered a few bags from his weekly drops and they always came in like a week. Now the bag security program, which is preordering, can take months. But that’s not normal for his weekly drops.
I am glad that I bought a Telfar bag. I got the small tote as well in a tan brown color. But I’m tall and can not wear it as a cross body. I hate that the straps aren’t adjustable or removable. When I try to wear it as a tote the long straps take up all the bag space when placing them inside. The stiffness doesn’t allow you to hide them. Happy to support a black owned business but wasn’t overwhelmed with it.
Nevermind the experience, the packaging!!! Definitely need a bottom shaper and hope those straps uncrinkle from the way they are all bound up in the packaging. Tote handle plus undetachable straps that dont tuck in would be the last straw 😫. I am glad you are happy with your purchases though!!! Look forward to hearing an update!

Hi Marquita I have a couple of the Telfar medium bags and I love them. I also wish the long scraps were removable but I just use the piece of valco to hold the two scraps together and push them inside the purse. Also when Telfar do the single color drop I got my purse within a good time frame. I also ordered during the Rainbow event as gifts and I was informed that the bags would take up a month to ship. So now will you give Brandon Blackwood a try also?

These are fun bags but I think I might pay $50 for the small and maybe $100 max for the medium. For those prices I would prefer buying the Longchamp totes which are durable and classic in the nylon and the coated canvas (feels like epi leather from LV) or the marc jacobs totes (all of which zip close at the top too). I do think these make great bags maybe for students or people wanting some fun bags without breaking the bank. I just still think for me, it’s more than i would spend on them.

I completely agree. The company should work on the checkout experience. It took me over an hour to finally order a bag that was not sold out by the time I came up in the queue. I had to settle for a color that was not my first, second or third choice.
I had the exact experience as you, just got my bag on Monday. I got a large black and medium red. I got the large for work and it is heavy and awkward with the oversized bag and extra long straps. I am thinking of using the medium for travel. I wanted the yellow, orange and olive shade of green, but think I'm going to be two and done.
Not a fan either. I agree the straps should have been detachable, and it should be 1 strap not 2. I think they were just trying to be different than the normal small cheap bag... if you know what I mean...with the one strap with detachable rings. Now I see why they were associated with rainbows the clothing store Although, I do like rainbows. I wont be purchasing because of your shipping experience and Im not feeling the bag overall, it looks cheap.. Like cheaper than the cost of the bag. I will just find another black owned handbag brand to support.
So the bag came in that big box and they couldn't package it in way of straightening up the straps and also stuffing the bag to avoid the fold at the bottom back of the bag?
And the shipping only took that long because it was a special drop and he said it would take about a month to ship 🥰 usually you’ll be the bag within a week

Me and my friend ordered from the rainbow release and were under the impression it was ready to ship and had to wait a month. We were cranky. I got a metallic color too and the color is gorgeous but the bag itself is just ok. Afterwards I purchased the Marc jacobs leather tote bag and that was the quality I was looking for but I will use my Telfar because of the color
They said it was a pre order and they take time to ship .. if you order Chanel sometimes you have to wait over 1 month.. their customer service was great for me and I got it fast so no complaints from me
OMG that brand, Telfar, I was ordering some bags from their website and was having problems when it came to completing the payment. It kept bouncing back several times, I emailed them, 4 weeks ago and not a reply, very disappointing
My daughter wanted the Medium black telfar bag so bad. She was buying herself but I had to order it for her because she wasn't going to be available. I logged in right when it opened. It was so stressful. I only ordered the one bag. After getting all my card info in, the internet crashes. After a few minutes, I got back in, had to reinput card info, uggh. And then it crashes again. I was cussing and a fussing. This time it takes like 5 minutes to get back in. Had to input card info again, that was really annoying me. But was able to checkout. By that evening, I decided I wanted one. So I'm thinking this rainbow drop is for a month, so there should be plenty supply. Not, everything was sold out. He definitely needs to work on that. My daughter got her bag in 13 days. I still want one, but will pass for now. She is happy with it (she's 19).
I am not wowed by this bag. I think the crossbody is too short, I don’t like the double long straps, and I wish that it was leather. I had it and sold it the same day o received it. I like Brandon Blackwood much better.
Hey Marquita! I'm so glad u did a review! I was curious if you wanted to review Black-Owned brands! I own 2 small bags and a backpack! Telfar is definitely a different vibe and acquired vibe. They do have pre-order program called the Bag Security Program and that takes longer. They also have other bags! Like Circle and Duffle bags. That aside, Im glad you gave it a shot. I encourage you to try Brandon Blackwood, Anima Iris, and so much more Black-owned brands!
In terms of my experience, I don't like pre-order because I don't like waiting. I just wait until a colorway comes available by being subscribed to the email letters. I usually get my bags by weeks end about 5-7 days and it comes on time. If there ever an issue they email me and keep contact.

I have two Telfar bags and they are different but not horrible to me. The straps were the biggest problem for me and the size of the mini. Even with my Gucci mini I can still put my key pouch in there with my phone. With the Telfar mini it’s packed to the max when I do that. While I am a small bag girl the minis weren’t my cup of tea but the bags weren’t horrible. When I pay a certain price I know what I’m getting. When I purchased my Prada re-edition I expected a 1400 crossbody. (Even though everything transfers on to my black bag) With Telfar I expect a 150 bag. I love how open you are to new things and your vibe is always good! Sending love from Michigan!

I have two medium totes they are fun colorful bags. Got my bonus daughter a small from the rainbow drop she loves it. I checked out in 10 minutes I had an alarm set. It was delivered in 2-3 weeks. I just came back from SpelHouse Homecoming in ATL, all the college kids had a bag it was so dope to see. Telfar is a marketing genius.

I have three Telfar bags a small orange, medium cream (my favorite), and a large in the color hazard. I use my cream as my work bag , the large is uncomfortable it hangs too low for a short person so I ended purchasing a large canvas Marc Jacob tote in electronic orange which is very comfortable to carry heavy stuff in. I am wanting to purchase small Telfar in cream and black because they hold a lot to be so small. I stop carrying my LV bags because there are so many fakes out there people assume that mines are fake because of my teacher’s salary 😂
The color is beautiful. That's it for me. I would love too see this color in a different brand
I own three (small eggplant, medium cobalt blue and a medium pink). The small is too small for me. I use the other totes as over night bags. The colors are vibrant and the bags are durable enough for what I use them for. I really want the Marc Jacobs tote in leather.
If their customer service is anything like their bags, then I can imagine the quality of their bags

Hello Marquita, I have the orange medium tote and I have carried it once. I like the orange it’s the best color they have. I will not be ordering another bag I had the experience and like you it’s was horrible checking out.

I got the Azalea Medium color from the rainbow sale. It’s nice, but it shipped late and they gave me a $100 credit for the trouble which was nice… but I wish it had come on time

Why did you bags take so long? Did you order during some special promotion? I’ve ordered a few bags from his weekly drops and they always came in like a week.
Now the bag security program, which is preordering, can take months. But that’s not normal for his weekly drops.
I have the exact same Cobalt Telfar bag and it was stressful ordering and took awhile to receive it but I love the colors of Telfar bags!!
I am glad that I bought a Telfar bag. I got the small tote as well in a tan brown color. But I’m tall and can not wear it as a cross body. I hate that the straps aren’t adjustable or removable. When I try to wear it as a tote the long straps take up all the bag space when placing them inside. The stiffness doesn’t allow you to hide them. Happy to support a black owned business but wasn’t overwhelmed with it.

Nevermind the experience, the packaging!!! Definitely need a bottom shaper and hope those straps uncrinkle from the way they are all bound up in the packaging. Tote handle plus undetachable straps that dont tuck in would be the last straw 😫. I am glad you are happy with your purchases though!!! Look forward to hearing an update!

Hi Marquita I have a couple of the Telfar medium bags and I love them. I also wish the long scraps were removable but I just use the piece of valco to hold the two scraps together and push them inside the purse. Also when Telfar do the single color drop I got my purse within a good time frame. I also ordered during the Rainbow event as gifts and I was informed that the bags would take up a month to ship.
So now will you give Brandon Blackwood a try also?

These are fun bags but I think I might pay $50 for the small and maybe $100 max for the medium. For those prices I would prefer buying the Longchamp totes which are durable and classic in the nylon and the coated canvas (feels like epi leather from LV) or the marc jacobs totes (all of which zip close at the top too). I do think these make great bags maybe for students or people wanting some fun bags without breaking the bank. I just still think for me, it’s more than i would spend on them.

I completely agree. The company should work on the checkout experience. It took me over an hour to finally order a bag that was not sold out by the time I came up in the queue. I had to settle for a color that was not my first, second or third choice.
I had the exact experience as you, just got my bag on Monday. I got a large black and medium red. I got the large for work and it is heavy and awkward with the oversized bag and extra long straps. I am thinking of using the medium for travel. I wanted the yellow, orange and olive shade of green, but think I'm going to be two and done.
I'm done; just the experience of ordering online was insane. Never again

Not a fan either. I agree the straps should have been detachable, and it should be 1 strap not 2. I think they were just trying to be different than the normal small cheap bag... if you know what I mean...with the one strap with detachable rings. Now I see why they were associated with rainbows the clothing store Although, I do like rainbows. I wont be purchasing because of your shipping experience and Im not feeling the bag overall, it looks cheap.. Like cheaper than the cost of the bag. I will just find another black owned handbag brand to support.

So the bag came in that big box and they couldn't package it in way of straightening up the straps and also stuffing the bag to avoid the fold at the bottom back of the bag?

And the shipping only took that long because it was a special drop and he said it would take about a month to ship 🥰 usually you’ll be the bag within a week
I have a few in the small size and a medium orange shopping bag. I use it for work; I throw my work laptop in there and get compliments all the time. I see people use them as their personal item at the airport too

i really don't think about the price increases. They are going to happen and we honestly are going to keep purchasing if we can afford to do so.

Me and my friend ordered from the rainbow release and were under the impression it was ready to ship and had to wait a month. We were cranky. I got a metallic color too and the color is gorgeous but the bag itself is just ok. Afterwards I purchased the Marc jacobs leather tote bag and that was the quality I was looking for but I will use my Telfar because of the color
Although the wait time is long, at least I know beforehand
They said it was a pre order and they take time to ship .. if you order Chanel sometimes you have to wait over 1 month.. their customer service was great for me and I got it fast so no complaints from me

I am only a fan of the Telfar Mooseknuckles bag. I purchased during a security drop & the delivery was tolerable.

OMG that brand, Telfar, I was ordering some bags from their website and was having problems when it came to completing the payment. It kept bouncing back several times, I emailed them, 4 weeks ago and not a reply, very disappointing

My daughter wanted the Medium black telfar bag so bad. She was buying herself but I had to order it for her because she wasn't going to be available. I logged in right when it opened. It was so stressful. I only ordered the one bag. After getting all my card info in, the internet crashes. After a few minutes, I got back in, had to reinput card info, uggh. And then it crashes again. I was cussing and a fussing. This time it takes like 5 minutes to get back in. Had to input card info again, that was really annoying me. But was able to checkout. By that evening, I decided I wanted one. So I'm thinking this rainbow drop is for a month, so there should be plenty supply. Not, everything was sold out. He definitely needs to work on that. My daughter got her bag in 13 days. I still want one, but will pass for now. She is happy with it (she's 19).
I am not wowed by this bag. I think the crossbody is too short, I don’t like the double long straps, and I wish that it was leather. I had it and sold it the same day o received it. I like Brandon Blackwood much better.
Hey Marquita! I'm so glad u did a review! I was curious if you wanted to review Black-Owned brands! I own 2 small bags and a backpack! Telfar is definitely a different vibe and acquired vibe. They do have pre-order program called the Bag Security Program and that takes longer. They also have other bags! Like Circle and Duffle bags. That aside, Im glad you gave it a shot. I encourage you to try Brandon Blackwood, Anima Iris, and so much more Black-owned brands!
In terms of my experience, I don't like pre-order because I don't like waiting. I just wait until a colorway comes available by being subscribed to the email letters. I usually get my bags by weeks end about 5-7 days and it comes on time. If there ever an issue they email me and keep contact.
I shop all brands; I just purchase what I like. I never put my self in a box or category. Thank you for the suggestions; noted.

What I don’t like about Telfar bags is that you can’t detach straps and that it’s vegan leather.
Telfar Clemens has created a cult following for the Tellie bags,. This bag justifies buying the dupe $15.99,-$65.99, there's no difference...The small bag color is awesome and fits your body size better than the larger one....The straps should be detachable with feet on the bottom.....,...🤔🙄😚The backstory is impressive, he has clothing and other items as well..The huge creed patch placement is a marketing genius move..The highlighter colors will appeal to some...😗
