I moved from Nairobi to Embu this January after over 16yrs in Nairobi. Starlink has been lifesaver for me. I'm even buying another one for my office - I don't have to worry about being not able to work just because I'm upcountry.... hopefully other providers style up even in areas such as mobile money. Monopolies hurt economies more than they build
Safaricom is a greedy company imagin if there were no other isp providers in the country they would be too expensive for Kenyan people

Given that Safaricom is the largest tax payer in Kenya and also the government of Kenya being a major shareholder it is very likely that the government will listen to what Safaricom has to say . Again given that most internet users in Kenya are in Nairobi given the speeds of Safaricom 4G and 5G its is unlikey that Spacelink will be able to compete with Safaricom when it comes to speed.
