Remember, if Fennryn visits the US take her to a monster truck rally.
Pay for the whole seat, but she'll only need the EDGEEE
Take her to Monster Jam
@@shishoka I Wana show her what muddin is. 😂🤣
We take her to and **entire** week of the state fair.
Monster Trucks, Bump & run, Combine Demolition Derby, Rodeo, and Alice Cooper, in concert Friday Night.
I make origami birds everytime i go to a chinese restaurant. I leave the birds there. Sometimes i come back and they are decoration.
God, I remember all of these commercials. XD Looking back there were quite a few that were so dumb.
I feel I should tell you that American commercials, especially in the 2000s, the point was to make kids excited to the point of obsessively begging their parents to buy the products
Products that would become very boring in hindsight most of the time.
@@joshuawells7415except hot wheels and lego
The 90's and early 2000's commercials were a sight to behold.
DUDE THESE BROUGHT BACK SOO MANY MEMORIES
1:34 not only is this a thing, many restaurants provide crayons avd pictures for kids to draw on
And little mazes that may or may not be possible to finish
Shout out to the Bionicle commercials from 2001 to 2010. They knew how to sell their toys.
Shout out to Denmark. Love from Sweden. 🇸🇪
They did.
1:40 its pretty normal to have some relatively minor art supplies at a restaurant. Many restaurants actually have a paper kids menu with coloring and activities along with crayons they give to kids.
My sister also brings my nephew that kind of thing too, since an occupied kid isn't a running around and / or screaming kid. It was some of the default stuff in the diaper bag, for anywhere they went.
It’s concerning how I remember these commercials like it was yesterday despite it being 20 years. Hell, we bought the scooter for my sister.
Oh the memories are flooding back now I remember alot of these commercials
@@mert36581 rest in peace Billy maze and I think the Mr ShamWow guy get a DUY or his hit his girlfriend I don't remember
It really hit me when the Shamwow came on
Every time you see this towel you're gonna say "Scam, wow!"
Yeah, a lot of how it works so well in the commercial is the table. They (likely) used a hydrophobic coating on the table, so the liquids don't want to stay on it. Then you also heat the table, so water evaporates off of it.
It's still a decent towel, just not to the level they claim.
ShamWow!... because it really is a sham.
In the early 90s and 2000s kids brought arts and crafts to restaurants to keep the kids quite. It was hated by restaurant staff.
BILLY MAYS WAS THE ORIGINAL INFOMERCIAL LEGEND! South Park episode with him after he died was great too.
Yeah… Capri Sun ads are a bit of a body horror factory. There’s a few ads where the kids suck the pouches so dry they crumple themselves as flat as the juice pouches.
Funny how Brazil, my home country, is outdated in everything. 2007-today is the "retarded ads era". It probably began with beer ads. There was this series of ads for Skol beer, where there was a single cooler full of beer cans somewhere in a dangerous place, and dudes doing everything from preventing it from getting destroyed. Jumping out of a plane with no parachute, swimming in a sea full of sharks, getting run over, etc. I honestly don't know where they got the idea from, because before that, it used to be people laughing at the bar, hot women, music, etc., nowadays it's just the worst commercials ever. But honestly, I miss those mid to late 2000s ads, much better than whatever shit we have nowadays
Thanks, now I want some gushers. What a nostalgia trip
7:39 we need fenn to react to the whole respect the pouch series
She should see the parody ads too, like Kitchen Gun and that Sleepytime spray.. or just the spray and don't tell her it's fake
yes pls
2:07 I still have my Razor Spark Scooter from 2009. Before I grew too tall for it, I always liked putting the bar as low as possible and got used to crouching down while riding it which now allows me to still ride it and use it today as an adult.
A few years ago I also got adult shoe size Heelys and I will wear them when I go to places I know will have smooth ground.
screws often dont work well in american homes since their walls are made of paper
you either need to find the plank in the wall to screw into or it can just fall out
I loved these commercials. They were SO out there.
There was a (small) monster truck rally in my hometown here in Germany a few times when I was a kid. It was great.
3:02 wait wait wait. Has Fenn every watched Jaboody dubs!? If not. Would highly recommend
Oh the poor poor zoomers are learning about their elders. 😅
I remember going to states as a kid (cheaper to get groceries in the states instead of here in Canada) and some restaurants gave colouring books or a single page and crayons to the kids while you waited for your food.
Please!! Watch the old Ratchet & Clank videos if you haven't seen them before.
Back then it was about EXTREME and testing the limits of creativity. There was some semblance in relation to product, but it was mostly about making you watch something with product placement.
Respect the pouch.
Billy mays is not the flex seal guy fenn.
Capri sun isn't water it's a juice like drink
can we have bicycles with sparxx
I loved that sham wah comment, also commercials lie all the time, whenever there are ice cream commercials, it’s all mashed potatoes. And when pancake commercials come on there is cardboard in the stack of pancakes and the syrup is glue.
Falling Down moment. You look at a burger on the restaurant. Splendid, delicious-looking, with enough meat to satisfy your stomach... and when you get the real thing... it's as flat as a pancake. Dry, sad, loaded on additives to make it taste better, and overall just not that good
God I miss the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
Surge, Sobe.. great games unlike today, your life didnt revolve around tech...
Maybe I'm just old, but I vastly prefer old commercials instead of tiktok videos.
There is actually Monster truck event like that happening in Germany in August 17th and again in 2025 July 5th.
Some kids would make Caprisun Pouch bags or something if I remember correctly. I definitely remember some using ducktape wallets too.
6:23 didn’t see how it works. Shamwow actually did work as advertised. It just didn’t last as long as advertised.
If you think caprisun was nuts. You should check out some of the old popsicle commercials. Those were some crazy trips of commercials.
I remember getting that scooter as a kid and thought I was Johnny Blaze 😂
The Shamwow was only really good for car work tbh. And the knockoff brands that were basically the same thing practically killed it.
Sham Wow... more like Scam, Wow. Lol, got 'em.
And I never saw that one, but I did see a lot of other commercials for Fruit Gushers. They really made them look like fun to eat.
2:40 if you think that’s crazy, wait till you see “my first gun”, “baby’s first toaster”, “easy bake oven - for toddlers now”, “me and my flamethrower got dragon”, and “my first ied: real ied and bomb defusal kit!”
I’m just kidding!
Though we do also sell functional model rockets to kids with solid rocket fuel, and in like the 50’s we sold chemistry and science kits with real fissile uranium and/or plutonium here in the us!
So for a short time during the Cold War, my joke would be not that far off from the truth…
5:27 German engineering is a meme. 7:08 almost feels like a Japanese comedy skit...
Bro! I remember seeing all of these on TV when I was kid, talk about nostalgia.
This whole video was unlocking one core memory after another for me from back when I was a kid in the 2000’s
Interesting how those sparky toys disappeared practically overnight. I remember playing with Beyblades that released sparks when they hit walls or other surfaces when I was a kid.
From what I've heard of it, things got a little weird in the U.S., after apparently, either a Transformers or Barbie toy that produced sparks somehow set a child's underwear on fire.
Fenn, we do NOT drink water like that here in America, I’ve never seen a water caprisun thing until now.
As far as I know, monster trucks were only a thing in the US. Lots of fun to watch, they usually have several different cars that they crush during the show.
I forgot about these commercials, and I've been to a monster truck show once. Just saying those things are super loud. Be sure to get what you want to say out of the way before the show starts cause you're only going to be hearing those trucks for awhile 😂. Sometimes those shows are in the same area as a demolition derby and iirc a demolition derby doesn't end until there's 1 car still able to move or at least has taken the least amount of damage. Will admit it's been around 20yrs since I've watched those things, I liked watching. But having sensitive hearing my ears were hurting for the rest of the day
2000s where my era! The nostalgia I was born in 2003 fyi.
Wait... You've never been to a monster truck show?
Does Europe not have county fairs?
Yeah, the 2000s were a bit odd, but I'd give a leg to be back in those days.
You don't bring art's and crafts to the restaurant? What kind of restaurant do you visit that you don't need that?
I had a spark scooter, and had a few reloads, then my friend burned down our neighbors house.....
You should look into the slap chop now that you've seen the shamwow
Give old PSAs a go if you want to break your mind
90's and 2000's commercials were WILD
90s to 2000s were really weird and we acted like it was normal back then. they do not care for safety
My mother bought a pack of sham wows, and I told her that its authenticity was in the name, as it is a sham.
Yea ride one of those spark throwing scooters close to any place with a gas leak nothing will go wrong right? That scooter is a danger risk.
kids were tougher back then, they could take a fall and learn not to do it again unless you want it to hurt again.
I went to Monster Jam when it came to state on my birthday 10 years ago. It was awesome.
That capri sun ad was so funny when I first saw it. Just suddenly bobblehead. 😂
Monster Jam was loud but it was cool to see mecha-saurus and gravedigger. I used to have toys & even a Monster Jam PC game when I was little.
there's a vid that came in my feed a day or 2 ago of guys testing some of those order off the tv products, and the Shamwow was indeed one product. i think it's owned by a different company now, but you can still order them, and it works as advertised from what they tested. granted, they laid some waterproof material over the table before doing anything
It’s crazy how I grew up watching these
All of the sudden I remember what bendaroos were.
You HAVE to react to the Jontron videos about Flex Seal, its an entire series, absolutely hilarious lmao
Oh, geez, these bring back some memories. Also, Fen, the shamwow did actually work to a degree, there's a few videos of live demonstrations at malls here on UA-cam and they're all pretty convincing, especially since you can get upclose and inspect what they're doing. No time for trickery
Ah the Razor Spark, I had one of those, yes it is completely safe, no it didn't last long in my hands 😁 rode down a hill probably doing 20mph, melted the wheel to the shoe brake trying to stop. Cops were pissed I went flying past while on the spark bar 🤣 I didn't care, I was having fun with friends and I was like 14.
Oh god. I remember almost all of these.
I feel old watching this video
It's not Shamwow it's the Sham woohoo
I gave this video its 100th Like!
I'd have an RV. RV's are cool.
Damn im old lmao, i remember all of these lol
Vince Offer is a legend
and so is his prison sentence.
@@avroarchitect1793 that too😂
Shamwow does work amazing
It's scamwow
I used to have a monster jam game on game cube around 15 years ago, my game cube unfortunately stopped working due to game disk reader
If fennryn ever went to a monster truck rally; I think she'd wind up taking one of the trucks. 💀
The shamwow things actually do work very well. Also yes the Monster Jam happens every year all over the United States. Arizona is usually the best one because it has the biggest arena to host it.
