Lovely install, I know the flue is correct but my god it always looks awful coming out like that on a roof, but at least it's screwed and supported unlike so many of the ones we see out there.

todd has vallant yet release a stand off jig to fit the 840/940 for the pipes to go up the back yet as this is a key requirement for me, otherwise it will involve a lot of pipe changes

I know they do a stand off bracket but i’m not sure it’s available for the 940. Im probably thinking it’s down to weight as the reason why they don’t

@@glisterservices ok mate , what areas do you cover i;m thinking of swapping from a regular to new valiant combi 940 with 940f controls (with wireless thermostat) and would like a quote for a 13 rad, twin bathroom to replace an old 35 year old glowworm thats end of life, power flush (badly needed) spirotek de-air filter, valant filter, hard warter filter, anti shock , a question on gravity fed shower mixer being compatible, and two cold feeds in property, removal of cold storage in loft, and expansion tank , cylinder (aprox 120litre) and softener (defunked) gas will have to be upgrade to correct mm for new boiler, all i know is existing boiler has flow restrictor on it for some reason maybe due to age, (ps cold feed goes to two places in property paid by previous owner, single zone cold feed up also t off to toiet as well, rest of connections t together going down from loft, not sure why. meter and boiler in same location opersit ends. 1m horizontal flue , under 30cm from door, old boiler (open vent) will have to be bricked up.

Viessmann 111 is a better option if you have the space

I absolutely love the 111, but unfortunately it wouldn’t of fitted in this cupboard, plus i wouldn’t enjoy getting it upstairs, ridiculously heavy boiler

I thought this was rated for 21 litres not 14.7
