This is what the season needed more of, if it had more time to give us moments like these and this kind of character development I think season 2 would’ve felt more impactful (still love the show but there was too little time in S2) wonderful edit
Yeah, Riot dropped the ball a little. S2 was good but it had so much more potential. Ekko's story here could be its own season tbh at least a whole arc. Ekko has to create hextech in secret from scratch and his z drive to get home. But during the process he has to choose between staying there with the people he has lost before. Or going back to try and save the people he left behind. There was a really compelling story to be told with these characters. But Riot just sped ran the entire thing... Not just Ekko other main characters were also neglected. Only Vi and Jinx's relationship development was done well in this season.
