The biggest question for us is the noise level. Do all of the dryers still use nylon ablative bearings and felt on the front that make loud noises if overloaded?
Most ppl I know would not buy another front load washer! They clean the seal - leave the door open to let it air dry Only to have to rewatch the clothes and they smelled horrible.
Which front-load stackable ELECTRIC dryer would you recommend as the most *ENERGY EFFICIENT.** With today's energy prices, it will be the most important feature with my upcoming purchase. Thanks.
I have a speedqueen built Nov 1993 that I'm retiring. Hate to do it but i couldnt figure the issue. Elements, fuses and thermostats all test good or replaced but it only runs 10 min and can't be restated until cooldown. Parts are hard to find too. Think I'm going to avoid anything with a LEDs in the control panel.
To use the steam feature, you have to have an additional water line available, right?
Great video!! I’m trying to decide on a new dryer and now I know what features to look for. Super informative. Thanks!
What did you wind up buying?
good advice on "needed" features and why to "trade up" in a series.
You killed this buddy what a great informative video thank you so much!

What brands and styles have the least service calls? I'm replacing a 30yr old speedqueen
Exactly. Nothing digital, no steam, just one that dries and last 25 - 30 years.
Very informative video!
Thank YOu!!This is very helpful!!
I was looking for info on dryer doors, whether glass or plastic. Some has glass door and some has plastic, is one superior than the other?
That's a great video, thank you very much

You spoke more about wrinkles than you did about BTU's which is most important as well. No bueno
Does it matter if the drum is stainless steel or something else?
