Yeah, I was going to mention this if someone else hasn't. It's definitely intentionally made to only charge during battle so that her Burst can't just be charged during traveling, since regular energy can't be obtained outside of battle, either.
Citlali with Cinder City is fantastic as a general wielder for Natlan teams, as she'd also be able to better hold it in Melt teams with Chasca, where you don't end up running Xilonen. In teams that you do run Xilonen tho, Citlali is a fantastic teammate for a supportive core, and since Natlan characters have innate synergies among each other, they complement their kits quite well, both defensively and offensivelly. For the clear intended DPS being Mavuika, this trio of characters seem to be incredible together. Scroll on Citlali opens up Petra for Xilonen, who naturally Crystallizes the main DPS' element very reliably, and since Mavuika's Tap E is used at the start of the rotation, her off-field application is enough for Citlali to also trigger Scroll on her Pyro, thus leading to a 75% Pyro DMG bonus for Mavuika. Particularly for non-Furina havers, this is an amazing damage boost that's quick and easy to activate in a standard rotation.
The problem is rotation, do you mind sharing the best rotation in this team and how xilonen supposed to catch the pyro crystal. Also who's the best char for fourth slot?. Let's say it's sucrose since her em passive is good for mavuika to melt higher. Start with mavuika E> xilonen E then catch the pyro crystal>sucrose E>ult then Citlali. Wait then how's Citlali supposed to active melt/pyro res shred if pyro aura already gone by then and as a scroll user to react with any element or citlali supposed to be in second after mavuika, then how's xilonen supposed to get pyro crystal?

The petra will probably only affect the initial hit of mavuika's burst but its still something since its a huge part of her dmg. Wandering Evenstar actually seems really good, I’m thinking for Arlecchino teams using Citlali after Benny just to pass Thrilling Tales feels kinda scuffed.
There ll be new shield set probably since the anemo 4star is shield as welll but if you use citlali on chasca team for example there will be no problem for the cinder city boost cuz bennett is there and furina so ll be just huge boost

it's good but not a huge upgrade for personal damage (40 EM buff to team is better than nothing but relatively quite low (compared to say Peak Patrol Song, Freedom Sword, Elegy for the End buffs)) - situationally worse than favge or TTDS depending on the team bc favge and TTDS are just OP if you want more of a breakdown you can look at his past banner reviews that included TFD (his evaluation is that it's kinda bad to go for (not quite as bad as donut or donut 2) as a limited 5* given the opportunity cost but in the case that you already have it it's kinda nice)
Opinions on Sucrose in Mav/Citlali team? Adds EM to everyone. Gives VV. Seems mav/cit/ben/sucrose might be pretty badass if you wanted Xilo on the other team. Or even using her in pace of bennett with Xilo on the team, getting more shred, em, and doing away with circle impact. She also generates a fk ton of energy with sac frag. Obv Kazuha would have Mav doing more damage ultimately, but shield comfort and boost to all reactions would mitigate that loss a good bit.
So how would the rotation be in this team? Mavuika E, Xilonen E, sucrose E>Q then Citlali(petra+ttds)E>Q. By then sucrose's Q already fused with cryo then switch to Mavuika burst immediately to melt. The only problem is there's chance sucrose Q fused with Mavuika off field pyro instead of cryo
@@rosnanihamzah9363 prob not burst prior to the melt, but some other time in the rotation. Just get an e skill swirl for the em boost, melt, and toss in her burst while non mavuikas are rotating. Might still have an impact on rotation 2 and beyond.
I adore Citlali and want to use her on-field doing dmg so heres my plan, if anyone has feedback or advice let me know :)) Citlali on-field Melt DPS team: 1) Mavuika C2 on scroll (atk, pyro, crit) with serpent spine 2) Xilonen C0 on petra (full def) with sig 3) Kazuha C2 on VV (full em) with sig 4) Citlali C6 on gilded (full em) with sig
Honestly if you use sig, switch to obsidian. Crit is still really important and since you get 187+ 264 + 115 +200+ 125 at a baseline which is exactly 891 em without substats stacking even more is a bit wasted and crit is even more important. Ik serpents spine is good but since you use as a DPS, wolfs gravestone or song of broken pines if you want to use citlalis basic attacks. Xilonen c2 is a good upgrade on the team and would allow you to use gilded due to 60% crit damage buff. Focus on EM and CRIT, with attack recharge being secondary additives. Also citlalis basics do really average damage due to no em scaling so you should switch out xilonen since she is c0 with shenhe for not only cyro resonance which is 15 crit rate but also about 15% dmg bonus 20% atk 15% res shred and most importantly her quills which allow citlalis basic attacks to do meanning ful damage. c1 shenhe is reccomended due to low quill uptime.

Unfortunately since shenhe has been locked in non-rerun prison i only have her C0 R0, i did debate perhaps going for her C6 maybe cause it seems really fun, my main concern with double cryo tho is if citlali would still be the one melting.
I legit farmed out an entire baller-ass Cinder set for Xilo already, and have little to no usable Cinder pieces for Citlali. I will make her work with either any other set or like 2p Cinder 2p EM
does anyone know if Citlali weapon would be better on anyone than Nahida weapon or Sac frags? especially my on field FLoP Barbara as a driver for nilou bloom? I think Citlali weapon looks cool, but I also need primos for Mauvika + weapon, Furina, and possibly Capitano + weapon (willing to swipe on these if I need to, but prefer not to)
The issue with ttds on Nahida is most of the characters she pairs with have em scaling, not atk scaling. Characters like Alhaitham gain far less from atk for example. With Clorinde maybe there's a better arguement for ttds though but likely not worth also losing Nahida personal dmg in an aggravate team.
TTDS is mid on Nahida because 1) Dendro reactions do not scale well with atk and 2) She isn't good at doing her thing right before the on fielder. Her E is so long that you wanna start with her
Prob not the best cuz she scales off em (ttds is hp) and doesn’t have as strong as a sheild as Zonghli, and she won’t use tenacity in every team She will make enimies die way faster though so less protection needed
I'm loosing my shit so hard when TCers calcing 28 sub-stat Citlali. It's just SO ridiculous Her 8 substats of EM are from flower and plume, let's say 4 for each. Out of 20 crit rolls we can allocate 8 to this ones That means 12 rolls are distributed between 3 pices with each piece having 4 rolls (!) This is the best case scenario with all pieces being 4 stats at 1st level and nonexistence of parasite rolls. Anything close to reallity would mean that sands, goblet and cirlcet must have 5-6 crit rolls EACH Stop coping about her being sub-dps and a decent shielder at one time

This is exactly what I fear. I have no clue how an actual Citlali build, in reality and not with made up rolls in a simulation, is supposed to get those numbers in both damage and shielding. Maybe by sacrificing your entire life farming this domain, max-refreshing resin every day - and even then, it would still be up to rng gods. She even needs those substats on EM main stat pieces, which have the lowest drop rate of all main stats, making it quite literally the worst case scenario of artifact grinding It's just unfortunate
I think it works individually by element, but not like it matters in a team with Mavuika, Citlali, Xilonen and Bennett. Most of the damage is Pyro and some Cryo from Citlali, the others don't do any damage.
@@NinjaDan24 that just means that you can buffs of the same element don't stack. If you do reactions that involve different elements you can get the buff for each element once. Source: I just opened the game to test. Xilonen and Ororon are on Cinder City and I got the bonus for Pyro, Electro and Geo after reacting with each of them on Pyro.

You don`t need their signas, Mavuika`s will be much more usefull, but if you really want to, than Xilonen`s signa is better (cause of team DMG buff), Citlali`s signa don`t worth it. Xilonen works great at C0, maybe if you are a Navia main Xilonen C2 can max out her potential.

Did u consider citlali weapon buff. It straight up increases damage dealt by active character by 28%. If damage is 10000, now with weapon buff it would be 12800. Please reply
@@sagarn4038 these different dmg% sources are added together before being multiplied against everything else in the damage formula. if your NA dealt 10000 damage with glad as your only dmg% buff, then it would deal 12074 damage if you added in the dmg% buff from citlali's weapon. 7407 * (1 + .35 from glad) = 10000 7407 * (1 + .35 from glad + .28 from citlali's sig) = 12074 that's already diluting her weapon's buff such that it's only a 21% overall damage increase for your on-fielder rather than 28%, and that's only considering glad's 4pc bonus of 35%. most characters get at least 46.6% from a goblet, many artifact sets buff it, and if you're using furina then your whole team is getting roughly an extra goblet's worth of dmg% on average. a universal 28% dmg% to your on-fielder isn't bad (it's almost as good as 2 extra 2pc bonuses), but it's almost never gonna be close to an overall 28% damage increase.
Well unless you're running furina (which you're not in this team) she doesn't need to heal every rotation, just whenever you're low hp so you don't really care about the er. You can change sets comfortably even if the er is lower
To be fair Citlali likely replaces Ororon on her team, You'd play Bennet, Furina, Ororon/Citlali. If you lack Furina you might want to replace Ororon for Xiangling for better melt consistency and likely better dmg since Xiangling snapshots bennet and takes advantage of the pyro res shred from Citlali.
8:07 160 EM from substats? Triple EM, means you can only get those 160 EM from the flower and feather, so 80 EM each. Have fun investing 10k resin for a 50% chance to get ONE of those.
id rather not put them together. i prefer not to have redudant or contradictory team comps. in most cases, if you have a shielder, you dont need a healer and vice versa. also you dont need 2 units with res schred. this abyss version is an exception. mihoyo put the holy beasts with high resistance so that people would pull for xilonen. usually enemies only have 10% res. so having 1 unit with res shred is usually sufficient.

Though in Xilonen's case, fulfilling the ER req on whack 4* artifacts (including the lower stat rolls that 4* artis get) might be painful? Pretty sure that when you take away the Scroll 2pc, she tends to land way north of 200 ER even with a Fav, which also takes some 30% CR to proc consistently in a rotation.
I'll put Xilonen on that Healing Set from Fontaine or Noblesse depending if the team scales off atk. fck that petra set. I'd rather delete my account than play that shit. 😂
Just like you don't stay on Raiden after her burst, you are not supposed to really stay on Mavuika outside her burst either. That does not mean that the character is not broken, if they do really high damage during the burst.

but it's true. the kit is pushing her towards on fielding so while she's broken as a main dps (burst) she isn't that broken as a support/off fielder. And it's to the point where it's not worth getting her if you just want her as a xiangling replacement

i will definetly not run petra xilonen since i also run her in non natlan teams, and i REFUSE to constantly change my characters artifact sets. citlali will get 2pc hero 2pc em or something and itll be fine
c2 muavika is really just a support con, 10%-15% dmg increase for her dps form due to increased multipliers but 20% def shred imputed into the damage formula is about a 26% dmg increase to all teams. Really insane. With r1 and c2 muavika she has 1.1k atk plus 129% atk which means she doesn't really need bennet. Problem is bennet is so good for pyro characters as a buffer and there isn't more natlan buffers so bennet still beats furina as BIS option but since you don't have citlali she is the best. Also in muavika c2r1 furina bennet instructor and xilonen team you will most likely get about 187 stacks of fighting spirit.

C2 Lynette gives the team ATK, holds VV, and applies 12s of Cryo for more melts

So how would the rotation be in this team? Mavuika E, Xilonen E, sucrose E>Q then Citlali(petra+ttds)E>Q. By then sucrose's Q already fused with cryo then switch to Mavuika burst immediately to melt. The only problem is there's chance sucrose Q fused with Mavuika off field pyro instead of cryo
@@rosnanihamzah9363 prob not burst prior to the melt, but some other time in the rotation. Just get an e skill swirl for the em boost, melt, and toss in her burst while non mavuikas are rotating. Might still have an impact on rotation 2 and beyond.

I adore Citlali and want to use her on-field doing dmg so heres my plan, if anyone has feedback or advice let me know :))
Citlali on-field Melt DPS team:
1) Mavuika C2 on scroll (atk, pyro, crit) with serpent spine
2) Xilonen C0 on petra (full def) with sig
3) Kazuha C2 on VV (full em) with sig
4) Citlali C6 on gilded (full em) with sig
Honestly if you use sig, switch to obsidian. Crit is still really important and since you get 187+ 264 + 115 +200+ 125 at a baseline which is exactly 891 em without substats stacking even more is a bit wasted and crit is even more important. Ik serpents spine is good but since you use as a DPS, wolfs gravestone or song of broken pines if you want to use citlalis basic attacks. Xilonen c2 is a good upgrade on the team and would allow you to use gilded due to 60% crit damage buff. Focus on EM and CRIT, with attack recharge being secondary additives. Also citlalis basics do really average damage due to no em scaling so you should switch out xilonen since she is c0 with shenhe for not only cyro resonance which is 15 crit rate but also about 15% dmg bonus 20% atk 15% res shred and most importantly her quills which allow citlalis basic attacks to do meanning ful damage. c1 shenhe is reccomended due to low quill uptime.

I legit farmed out an entire baller-ass Cinder set for Xilo already, and have little to no usable Cinder pieces for Citlali. I will make her work with either any other set or like 2p Cinder 2p EM

The issue with ttds on Nahida is most of the characters she pairs with have em scaling, not atk scaling. Characters like Alhaitham gain far less from atk for example. With Clorinde maybe there's a better arguement for ttds though but likely not worth also losing Nahida personal dmg in an aggravate team.
@@twigz3214 And Nahida does a sizeable amount of damage from off field too, so the way less base attack and EM will be felt too.
TTDS is mid on Nahida because 1) Dendro reactions do not scale well with atk and 2) She isn't good at doing her thing right before the on fielder. Her E is so long that you wanna start with her

Her 8 substats of EM are from flower and plume, let's say 4 for each. Out of 20 crit rolls we can allocate 8 to this ones
That means 12 rolls are distributed between 3 pices with each piece having 4 rolls (!)
This is the best case scenario with all pieces being 4 stats at 1st level and nonexistence of parasite rolls. Anything close to reallity would mean that sands, goblet and cirlcet must have 5-6 crit rolls EACH

This is exactly what I fear. I have no clue how an actual Citlali build, in reality and not with made up rolls in a simulation, is supposed to get those numbers in both damage and shielding. Maybe by sacrificing your entire life farming this domain, max-refreshing resin every day - and even then, it would still be up to rng gods. She even needs those substats on EM main stat pieces, which have the lowest drop rate of all main stats, making it quite literally the worst case scenario of artifact grinding

I think it works individually by element, but not like it matters in a team with Mavuika, Citlali, Xilonen and Bennett. Most of the damage is Pyro and some Cryo from Citlali, the others don't do any damage.

@@NinjaDan24 that just means that you can buffs of the same element don't stack. If you do reactions that involve different elements you can get the buff for each element once.
Source: I just opened the game to test. Xilonen and Ororon are on Cinder City and I got the bonus for Pyro, Electro and Geo after reacting with each of them on Pyro.

You don`t need their signas, Mavuika`s will be much more usefull, but if you really want to, than Xilonen`s signa is better (cause of team DMG buff), Citlali`s signa don`t worth it. Xilonen works great at C0, maybe if you are a Navia main Xilonen C2 can max out her potential.

Best teams entire dps is around 70k. 10k dps contribution from a support that also gives shield is very good.

if your NA dealt 10000 damage with glad as your only dmg% buff, then it would deal 12074 damage if you added in the dmg% buff from citlali's weapon.
7407 * (1 + .35 from glad) = 10000
7407 * (1 + .35 from glad + .28 from citlali's sig) = 12074
that's already diluting her weapon's buff such that it's only a 21% overall damage increase for your on-fielder rather than 28%, and that's only considering glad's 4pc bonus of 35%. most characters get at least 46.6% from a goblet, many artifact sets buff it, and if you're using furina then your whole team is getting roughly an extra goblet's worth of dmg% on average.
a universal 28% dmg% to your on-fielder isn't bad (it's almost as good as 2 extra 2pc bonuses), but it's almost never gonna be close to an overall 28% damage increase.

you could try using em sets like gilded since electro charge are buff. But for support stuff, it is back to Noblesse.

To be fair Citlali likely replaces Ororon on her team, You'd play Bennet, Furina, Ororon/Citlali. If you lack Furina you might want to replace Ororon for Xiangling for better melt consistency and likely better dmg since Xiangling snapshots bennet and takes advantage of the pyro res shred from Citlali.

in most cases, if you have a shielder, you dont need a healer and vice versa.
also you dont need 2 units with res schred. this abyss version is an exception.
mihoyo put the holy beasts with high resistance so that people would pull for xilonen.
usually enemies only have 10% res. so having 1 unit with res shred is usually sufficient.

Though in Xilonen's case, fulfilling the ER req on whack 4* artifacts (including the lower stat rolls that 4* artis get) might be painful? Pretty sure that when you take away the Scroll 2pc, she tends to land way north of 200 ER even with a Fav, which also takes some 30% CR to proc consistently in a rotation.

Just like you don't stay on Raiden after her burst, you are not supposed to really stay on Mavuika outside her burst either. That does not mean that the character is not broken, if they do really high damage during the burst.

Probably not pulling her. C2R1 Mavuika is my priority. I dont need a 4th character running Cinder City.
c2 muavika is really just a support con, 10%-15% dmg increase for her dps form due to increased multipliers but 20% def shred imputed into the damage formula is about a 26% dmg increase to all teams. Really insane. With r1 and c2 muavika she has 1.1k atk plus 129% atk which means she doesn't really need bennet. Problem is bennet is so good for pyro characters as a buffer and there isn't more natlan buffers so bennet still beats furina as BIS option but since you don't have citlali she is the best. Also in muavika c2r1 furina bennet instructor and xilonen team you will most likely get about 187 stacks of fighting spirit.
Best f2p weapon for citlali is fruit of fulfillment
