Superb, beautiful, rich. Absolute master of the alto saxophone. He really knew how to read a ballad like no one.
One of my all-time favourite saxophone players. He had it all.
All...except the sound which is by far less beautiful than the one of Bird, Johnny Hodges, Willie Smith or Cannonball....
