Interview tips:-
1. Smile
2. Be interested in them and company
3. Speak their language and terminologies
4. Never be overdressed or underdressed
5. Compliment the interviewer
6. Be a corporate suck-up robot.
Thank you so much for the energy invested!
You can never be overdressed*
Stalking the interviewer
Mostly great advice, but I would steer clear of personal compliments. What I would encourage is complimenting them on something they did within the company. Always stay professional.
I watched this just before an interview! I employed your tips and walked out with the job! Thank you.
These are excellent tips, highlighting qualities that we are all instinctively drawn to: friendliness / enthusiasm, showing interest in the person / being curious, mirroring their language, showing you value the role, and paying genuine compliments to the person. I'd like to add one more: speaking in first person plural (us, we, our) to indicate you're someone who is collaborative, a team player, already invested (even at this early stage) in the shared experience and future successes you being on their side will provide.
i have an interview in four minutes and im speed running this video right now
This is so true! I just did interviews and I was shocked at how one candidate looked like she would rather be dead than be there talking to me. I assumed she did not want the job and I honored that. I absolutely hired the person that make me 'feel' like we had a good connection.
I totally understand why you would think this way. However, it could also be that the candidate was nervous. I'm sharing this because I go through the same thing. I am so nervous in interviews, but that doesn't mean I am not interested in the job.
Just thought I would share this here :)
@@anurit166 Employers look for reason to disqualify rather than hire.
I watched this because I'm feeling the nerves before an interview and it helped! I have my notes, I prepared questions. I got this. Thanks!

00:11😊 Smile to create a positive first impression.
00:38📸 Start smiling before your video interview starts to appear enthusiastic.
01:07🔍 Show genuine interest in the interviewer by asking questions about their role and experiences.
01:38🗣 Use the same terminology as the job description to align with the company’s language.
02:11👔 Dress up for the interview to show that you value the role.
02:50👍 Compliment the interviewer based on your research to create a connection.
Smile easily but don't look like you are a serial killer.
Thank you for the tips... Didn't know a short video like this gonna change my life
I really liked the idea of listening to feel good music before an interview. Before mine I was listening to a few worship songs from SOP.
0:21 facts. That’s when I’ve gotten the job. When I felt like we just vibed.
Thanks for the tips! Got an online interview in an hour and a half, I can think on this while I get something to eat
I remember when I was "applying" to become ordained as a Buddhist monk. It felt like I was doing a job interview and I had no idea how to act.
Fortunately I got the "job" and spent 6 years living as a monk so I'd consider that a good interview :)
Great content and tips, thank you for sharing these Leila!
If they ask you a question you didn't want to answer, you should respond with
"I am taking my vow of silence... Now".
not gonna lie, taking details from their personal life on the first day being interview looks very weird. Sure, stalk them, but dont bring it up, cuz it looks weird. I dunno, just my opinion
i thought this, maybe compliment an event they’ve hosted- a charity they’ve funded, etc… definitely wouldn’t let them know i’d looked them up in advanced! when i was managing, that would’ve been invasive, in my personal opinion.
Your tips are always so amazing. And truly set you apart from other conventional job interview tips. Thank you so much.❤️
I have an interview in an hour. Went out to buy a blazer and I feel so confident in it!! 🤞🤞thanks for the tips, I'll use them wisely
I’m about to do an interview thank you for posting this video
You can be overdressed for a lot of roles. If you turn up in a suit for a mechanics job they automatically dismiss you because they can't see you getting your hands dirty. You don't rock up in your work boots but you gotta look like you can do the job. They not going to hire management for a laborer's position.
The only dress code which guarantees being hired is a short skirt on a pretty girl.
Thank you so much for your guidance.
Have an interview coming up, love the video very informative !!
Why do 99% of job interview tips in youtube are about working on sales/marketing, customer support, IT works, etc.? As an accountant I can’t relate much on them.
I have an interview for a position I really want in… 3 hours. I’m getting ready now, and I plan on getting there early and doing everything I can to prove that I’m the right person for this role.
Did you get the job??
I just told my husband this about dressing nice to an interview I said you want walk in there better dressed then the CEO 🥰 I love these tips!!!
Oh so that's why my interviews go so well hmm
When you ask them questions about why they got the job you can compliment them on things that interested them
Love this!!!

Job interviews are dumb and pointless and don’t accurately assess how well an employee will work. It’s just an hour of acting fake.
Go for the Banana Republic suit for women. These are the most flattering and professional suits for women.
great video !

I have a interview tomorrow @ 9am 😬
it’s kinda crazy how nobody’s talking about the forbidden ebook called 25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump
4 minutes before now. About to head in

People LOVE curious people?! How did you come up with this? It all depends on context, their mood, how you look, sound… and so on. Let’s face it. Didn’t need to waist 2’ min to hear you saying that I need to smile or whatever….
My internship is about a 23 minutes lol
Smile
Be interested in the employer
Use their lingo
Dress well
Compliment the interviewer
Everything is spot on but the last tip absolutely not lol
