      Listening to this makes me realize my parents aren't all that bad.. your parents man have no sympathy for your situation.. Idk how you hold it together id be off the rails if my parents treated me like that. You sound like you're doing your best and they still insist on being as toxic as possible. After this video and the last one I'd want nothing to do with them. Like that's not how loving parents should treat their young adult child. I would never talk to them again, but that's just me..

    Dog, for every job I’ve ever had I spoke to a manager in person first. They tell you to apply online but then that’s when you say “I’ve already applied, I was just hoping to speak to the hiring manager to check the status of my application.” Or something like that. Doesn’t have to be super professional. Apply online, then go in person. Works like a charm

    You're right and wrong Losermaxxing. You do have to speak to a manager first to increase your odds at getting a job, but where you're kinda right is in the fact that it doesn't guarantee you the job.
    When the manager remembers your face, you're beating out most online only candidates save for those really exemplary ones. What you're likely losing out to is people who know someone on the staff. It's one thing to hire someone who you at least know how they look and act, but its another to hire someone who has people vouching for them.
    Friends get friends into job positions, you should see who your dad or mom knows in employment so they can vouch for you to help you get a job. This also has the added benefit of helping them get off your back, as now they would have a more direct hand in your quest for employment.

    Between DBDR and this channel, and my life i can see the common denominator: PARENTS.
    My parents were kinda of ignorant (not exactly mean like this, but they had their mean moments) and it's fascinating to see shit like "parents mad that they bought clothes for their son", it wasn't supposed to be something that parents do?
    There is a level of "learned helplessness" teached by a specific set of parents that shows on every blackpill/basement dweller guy, they literally avoid teaching things to their sons, or helping them with basic stuff that any parent should help, and then get mad or disappointed when they look clueless.
    In my experience there are two kinds of parents of "losers": the ones so mad at how their son is a loser wating magic to happen without knowing it's kinda their responability until their son is 18, and the ones one understand that status, become friends on a process to get out of it. Only 1% is the latter type.
    The silver lining here is: the best thing that happened to me was leaving parents home, due to a job in tech. Learned to fucking drive at 29. Went to parties at 30. I belive the only real maxxing is getting away from your parents home, no fucking way someone becomes a "hopeless loser" if not by being teached (assuming what normies say are real and blackpill is "not real", so this is the best explanation).
    Maybe this can be a blessing in disguise, it will be absolute shit because you couldnt prepare, but pay attention to how you behave when there is no expectations to meet or people softly (or in this case heavly) bemoaning you all the time. I hope you find the answers man.

    • @rashawn8936
      @rashawn8936 Місяць тому +1

      I’m sorry but this line of reasoning is precisely why so many young men fall into this trap. I agree that poor parenting and learned helplessness contribute to this type of behavior, but they definitely aren’t the driving force. The harsh truth is that these men simply lack ambition and have an unearned sense of entitlement.
      It is not your parent’s job to help you with a date and support you 100% financially at the age of 35, especially when you possess the means to do that yourself and refuse to even try. Same with DBDR. I’ve heard the guy say with a straight face that he has zero problem doing the bare minimum and living off his struggling parents.
      One thing that BP love to ignore is that women also grow up in the same circumstances but have much better results. Why? Because they are held to much higher standards as children and built a support network with other women to uplift each other. The BP community could be this, but inkwells actively chose to make it as toxic as possible. At a certain point, you need to stop blaming your failures on others

    • @aingkieu403
      @aingkieu403 Місяць тому

      I see... That does make sense. I was thinking maybe another reason is growing up in a single-parent home. I think parents who live seperated really put their children in a bad spot and put an unnecessary burden on them. That's why they struggle more mentally.

      No, they don’t see him until they give him an interview and he hasn’t got an interview. So other than what he was just forced to do, that is not the reason he isn’t being hired. Because they DONT SEE HIM

    Just take a video of you applying in person and show it to your parents. They will realise that most places wont accept paper applications .

    Could you get a forklift license?
    If you have any industrial estates nearby you might find some factory/warehouse that needs a forklift driver/storeperson. The people i work with who do those jobs seem relatively content. Loading and unloading deliveries, keeping track of stock, consumables, shit like that and they're generally pretty popular people among other workers despite any personal foibles, like MAN some of tge storemen at my work gave been pretty fucked up but everyone likes them because they're just friendly and easy going and don't take shit too seriously. That's all it takes. If it's like some really big factory then the pay should be pretty good compared to fast food places.

    You should legit just get some basic job at walmart or target , then see if that will appease your father. Also, if you do, make sure to call the manager the next day after applying online.

      think of a program you want to make, then make it by looking up things along the way. That's the best way to learn. Keep it simple, like your first program could be something like printing a pyramid to the console.

    You’re not qualified for a programming job. You don’t have any experience. You need to get experience by building projects good enough to land you an internship then doing one for at least 6 months.
