But what if I have 50 people I am sycophant to? I hope that's okay, too. I mean, I really want you to like me. Nah, I agree with you. I have my sister and three others. Done.
Just spent the last couple of days binge watching After Life by Ricky Gervais - absolutely brilliant, not one episode were I didn't laugh out loud at one bit and wipe a tear from my eye at another (or proper blub) - make sure you read on line the understanding of the very final scene
@@willow4073 Nobody really knows but they never mention eachother anymore and very rarely are brought up in eachother's interviews as a topic (as if the interviewer has been told not to mention the other one). It's a strange one. They went from working on every project together, to never so much as mentioning one another.
@@jpa_fasty3997 "I get on perfectly well with Ricky. I think we just started doing slightly different projects. I returned to stand-up after a long time. And that led to my show, Hello Ladies, which I ended up developing in the U.S. And Ricky had a couple of other projects, one of which was called Derek, which he was doing at the same time I was doing Hello Ladies. So we just sort of got out of sync, really. I’ve had enormous success and fun working with Ricky, but I was starting to enjoy working with different people and different collaborators and finding new territory that I don’t think would necessarily have appealed to Ricky. And so we just sort of drifted apart creatively really, but we certainly never had any big falling-out or big argument or anything like that."
@@Sam-zz7gs yeah I saw that as well but that was years and years ago. Maybe they just drifted apart but given how close they were it seems unlikely. Never heard either of them mention eachother since
@@jpa_fasty3997 it’s not weird at all. They worked together for about a decade. They never hung out much outside of writing and making shows, that was apparent from the very beginning. We all grow apart form people we work with. I’m not sure why people obsess over it so much.
This episode is a real boost for anyone fighting with depression. Great !!!!👍👍👍👍👍
I met Alan in London and he was so so so cool and friendly. Highlight of my life. I love the guy.
Ricky gervais in my opinion is one of the best comedians around today and the fact that he talks so much truth like he did when hosting the Oscars.
He didn't host the oscars, he did the Golden Globes
@@MariuSweet you are right my bad.
Haha. And yes he has nerves of steel. 😂😂😂😂

Indeed he just doesn’t care what famous ppl or media think or say he proper Englishman I’d happily go pub with him
Ricky Gervais with Alan Carr is one of the best combos I’ve seen to date.
They have such a good back and forth you can tell Ricky really finds him funny
I agree with Ricky. A few close friends is better than fifty sychophants.
oh my gosh i have never seen someone else use this word before. it is one of my favourites
I never knew that word even existed, I thought you was trying to spell psychopaths

They're both funny I could watch them all day
I love how Alan goes one on one with Ricky 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
I love this combo. They are both always on

3rd season sucked
Thanks for the review. I have to watch this.
In my view After Life is his best series to date. The third series wasn't fantastic but the first two were amazing.
They work so well off each other.
I Love Ricky hes a Complete and Utter F*cking Legend
Laughed all the way through it; thanks for posting it.
Alan and Ricky have the funniest laughs 😂
Very true your reputation is what people think of you and your character is who you are
9:58 It’s like they had a squeaky voice contest and Ricky won
Love everything Ricky has done, but my all time favourite is still Derek!
What a brilliant compilation hehe
Omgsh I busted out loud on this one. 🙌🙌🙌🤣
*Kicked in the face by Ricky Gervais* 👌🏻
I'd love to see and interview with Ricky Gervais and Jimmy Carr.--🤣🤣 I think that would be brill.
"Alan - You've lost a lot of weight how've you done it?"
"Ricky - Steroids and aids!"
Me: dying pahahahahahaha
❤😂😂❤
So funni
Thank you
This is great. Such a shame Ricky and Steve aren't mates anymore, they were hilarious together
Why aren’t they friends anymore?

Ricky’s hair looks nice
No entiendo nada, pero suena tan divertido 😂
I miss Ricky and Steve together, gold

I honestly used to really dislike ricky gervais but after watching the golden globes im here for it such a great comedian
It's a sin these two don't make stuff together anymore.
He is my seventh friend. Then to look for the reaction.
No Ricky can't be milked after the weight loss because he's got no mammories left! 🤣🤣
