Ngl when I played dbz kakarot I was mad disappointed when this played because not only does it look worse than like 90% of everything, but there’s also the fact that there is NO emotion in their voices, which especially goes for goku because in the original scene you can hear his voice cracking and you can hear how tired he is, you can FEEL his pain (which is something I like about dbz kai because they made goku sound like he was finna die) in dbz kakarot he literally fires off a kamehameha with seemingly no problem, like it was no challenge to pull himself together, no strain, no groaning in pain, no sore throat, no nothing.
just listened to it in japenese, even though im not a big fan of sub when it comes to dbz, they do SO much better in this scene, atleast goku somewhat sounds tired.
