Martial arts class for kids in Las Vegas and Henderson NV. Although the Las Vegas Kung Fu Academy is mainly a Chinese Martial Arts school, we also believe that no single style has all of the answers. Western boxing can be a very effective martial art for self-defense. I also think it is somewhat easier for kids to pick up when they first start training.
Contact sparring is very important to the development of real skills. However, contact must be taught in stages. We move from very light, controlled drills, and slowly move toward full contact.
