- Betty Boop and Bimbo in a Fleischer Studios Screen Song ("bouncing ball" cartoon) from 1932 featuring Arthur Tracy, "The Street Singer of the Air."
This has been posted elsewhere on UA-cam in an abridged version that lacks the bouncing-ball segments; this version should be complete.
An appearance by Arthur Tracy 25 years later on "I've Got a Secret" can be found here: • Arthur Tracy on "I've ... - Фільми й анімація
The Betty Boop Screens Song "Romantic Melodies is on the Betty Boop Definitive Collection, but it has the black and white colored version of it which does not show Authur Tracy singing.
I know; I have it!
great transition between animation and live action. kudos .
Arthur had great success in Britain during the 1930s - including starring in films - in my humble opinion - his rendering of Pennies from Heaven and In the Mission by the sea - are definitive - one of the great singers of Ballads - I remain a fan
Loverly rendering of Good night sweetheart - made famous by that other great singer Al Bowlly
Fleischer was surreal before they invented the term..
Warner Brothers Need To Make A Dvd Collection Featuring Every Screen Song Cartoon From Fleischer To Famous Studios in Chronological Order.
Arthur Tracy has a few tracks on the soundtracks to Pennies From Heaven, both the 1978 BBC-TV miniseries, and the 1981 Hollywood feature.
Thank you for posting this wonderful musical cartoon.
He sang the song Goodnight sweetheart better better than big stars of that era
He was a big star in that era.
How Personally Insightful, Here!
Arthur Tracy has a beautiful singing voice

"Bimbolicious!" LOL!
trouble finding Rudy Vallee Melodies (1932). hope someone can point me if one pops up, tx
Anyone with Art Jarrett's? It's titled No.73 or something but it's taken down!!
@TeamRocket2010 Actually, I don't believe Warners owns the Betty Boop/Talkartoon/Screen Song cartoons. Not exactly sure who. Could it be Viacom?
ESLinstructor1 Paramount and Olive distribution films put out a 3 Volume Betty Boop Blu-Ray set several years ago,
So I’m just guessing they may own her at least,
Unless she’s gone into public domain since then.
I hope Bimbo's bank didn't fail..
Yeah me too
6:12 anyone know this song? For the life of me I can't figure out what it is
I wanna know so I can listen to the whole thing
It’s called “Under My Window Tonight”.

Where's Paramount Pictures Logo?
My understanding is that few of the Screen Songs survive now with the original Paramount Pictures logo intact. When these were sold for television broadcast, those logos were stripped out of the original prints in most cases and replaced with the "U.M.&M. TV Corp." logo that you see here and on others. In a few cases the Paramount logo has been restored; one example is in the UCLA restoration of "Down Among the Sugarcane" featuring Lillian Roth.
Don't Worry Ill Just Use Original Titles
Why did they randomly add Hebrew to the police wagon???
WHAT THE WHAT?! :O
When the rat race had allowed music to not be so fast. A shame things were so hurried soon after this period.
