I remember that sad day when netflix started restricting international use. Dutch netflix is so boring compared to the US. Thank god for ppl like you!!
Yes, you can use Smart DNS Proxy on the iPad directly with a SmartDNS solution or SmartVPN solution. Smart TVs work with SmartDNS solution. Android-based devices can download Smart DNS Proxy VPN 2 application. Setup instructions are on our website how to setup. You can also reach our 24/7 live support when needed.
Just signed up for Smart DNS and confirmed with them via chat that they do not support other Netflix regions at this point in time. Just thought you should know before you sign up and go through the small hassle of trying to set this up and then being massively disappointed.
Liron , I’m enjoying your tips thanks. Can I set up two routers on my one internet modem, one with static DNS to get US Netflix, Prime, etc and one with dynamic dns to get Canadian Netflix, Prime, etc?I think I want this so that I don’t have to keep switch my router settings. I really I’d like my AppleTV to be Canadian content and my android (nvidia shield) to be us content, but Netflix requires a router change.
What happens if someone else in the house is working while using the "regular" IPN (DNS?)? Are they affected by my changing the DNS on my computer? Do they suddenly lose their connection, because I switched? Is that a site I have to pay for, after the free "trial period"?
Hi Livonia so I installed vpn vanish on my fire stick but can’t get Netflix an prime on now so does smart dns work with them ?want see f1 Also don’t have sky
I'm confused.. The website initially blocked you because it wasn't available in the US.. And then you picked a US location server for the DNS. How does that make sense?
Love it thank you. If I can ask a question regarding speeds. I have two computers, a older macbook pro and a dell laptop. When I do a speedtest the macbook pro shows 89 download while the dell shows a 10 download. very rarely have a buffering problem on the laptop though. I just don't understand the difference. My android phone also shows 89. Thanks for your help.
there are other factors - are they both using 5Ghz WiFi? what happens when you hard wire both of them? Are they both in the same room or in different locations? Are they both the same specs in terms of ram and processor?
@@LironSegev Both next to one another, 10 feet from the router, both wireless. Macbook is from late 2011 intel i5 4gb 1333 hhz memory. The Dell Inspiron intel i7 1.8 ghz 16gb ram. The Macbook much older. I find the dell windows 10 quicker then the macbook so I don't understand the speedtest readings lol. And it's all the time.
I use an xbox one to access netflix here in Canada. Would love to get US netflix again. Will this solution work on an xbox one? If so, anyone know how to do it? TIA for any help
XBOX and PS devices are problematic with Netflix applications. They are overwriting your DNS settings generally. However, we have users able to stream from these devices properly.
Some Android-based TVs might be problematic as they are overwriting DNS settings and changing it back to Google DNS even though you change your DNS on them. In such cases, our users mainly doing HDMI connection to their TV from other streaming devices including, media players (Apple TV, etc), iPad, or Airplay/Casting if your TV supports.
So it is $5.90 USD a month or $48.14 a year a bit cheaper than a VPN only thing is that SmartDNS people know all the websites etc that you use since they are your DNS.
So yes and no. A VPN typically has a device limit for your fee. This one is unlimited. A VPN has slower speed due to the encryption, this doesn't. Of course they know which site you visit, you are streaming through them. If you want to use sites that doesn't require the proxy, switch the DNS to auto and surf away. So it all depends on what you want really.
@@LironSegev Perhaps it's my tablet speaker or volume control. I would refer you to a UA-camr 'Mr. Carlson's Lab' to compare audio quality. I enjoy your channel and will continue to tune in. Thanks Liron.
a vpn is limited to a certain number of devices and a vpn requires you to download software and a vpn has speed implication. If you have a VPN and its works for you - great!

Wow, and now it works. Just by changing that data

When you say other regions, what do you mean?
Nice video bud. Do you have any internet ips for Ps4 streaming daily games?

Great info but do you put the dns that is close to you or the country you want to stream from ? thanks
yes - the closest one to you. It knows how to handle it from there

Hi and thanks. Would this service work with music streaming sites as well e.g. Spotify, Tidal, etc?
Not sure hut as far as I know this is for specific services on specific websites. Might be more info on their site?
Do you have to pay after 14 days?

Great job in explaning!
Glad it was helpful!
How do you use this on a smart TV.
Would this enable us to watch all content provided by netflix? Being in Australia we are not seeing all content the US has available.
thats the idea 😎
Thanks Liron.
Does it work on hulu live tv
yes - just to this on your router or if your Smart TV has the ability to specify a DNS, then do it there.

on the Xbox change the DNS to their DNS. Check out their guide on the website and that should work!

do i get a chance to get hacked by doing this?
is this only for windows 10 ?

This is perfect for my ps4 but my trial is expired help
Just wondering, why not to use a free DNS server. There are so many out there and reliable too

We have NO LOG policy on both our SmartDNS or SmartVPN networks.
u didnt explain how to activate the account n reactivation of ip adresss , incomplete info video
I see they are very careful not to give a price after the free trial. How much is it, I don't like surprises.
Hi I subscribed to this but it only worked for one day now Netflix is giving error message
Not sure why you telling me, tell them.
I had the same 😡
oh oh - Is your SmartTV watching you??? ua-cam.com/video/1-vIiEpUqI0/v-deo.html 😲
Don't bother with Smart DNS Proxy unless you sign up with Gmail or Yahoo mail , they refuse to recognise legit email accounts !!
So nice
Thanks bro
thank YOU for watching

cannot be used with ASUS WRT routers. useless
but the thing is if he is in africa he will have to turn off that dns to watch stuff from africa
