What if you left that rubber seal on the hood? i have a INGEN Cold Air intake system, think it's little bigger than the stock intake box, so i couldn't put on the seal on the radiator shroud and left the metal part resting on top the Ingen intake box, left the rubber one on from the factory hood.
The seal wouldn't close or seal right on the intake. it would just smash against it and serve no purpose other than damaging the finish of the intake every time you closed the hood.
Hi pal, I just installed the radiator shroud and found that fitting the shroud between the chassis and the bumper messed up the alignment from my hood and the bumper. I had to remove my hood catch and pack it with washers to bring my hood back in line with my bumper. Basically the shroud lifted up my bumber the thickness of the shroud which was clearly noticeable. Did you experience this problem and if so how did you resolve the issue?
Strange. I was thinking about removing the shroud and fitting it on top of the bumber but under the metal trim. Doing it this way means the bumber is not raised up from the chassis the 2mm thickness of the shroud. I may reach out to Perrin and get there input. Thanks though for the reply.
hey buddy, with the Cobb SF carbon fiber did you manage to install any on that side? perrin gave me two sets dor the intake side but i don't think they fit with the cobb sf carbon
The left side doesn’t work with the Cobb redline intake. Just the right side. Yes, I run just the right side of it. ua-cam.com/video/TpNUHWzg7Dw/v-deo.html

Hm, I didn’t have that issue with mine. Alignment of everything was just like stock.
