i see not many watch rockets games. that is how he plays defense for the rockets too. he was averaging 2+ blocks game at one point this season. and even when he was shooting bad his defense has been very important for the rockets this season
Absolutely one of the best All star game in recent memory. They gave it their all in that 4th quarter, breathtaking stuff. However, it is poignant that the man they did it for wasn't there to witness this beauty. R.I.P. KOBE

What this taught me is Lowry, Giannis and Embiid have insane defensive coordination. I knew Lowry is a good defender, but I didn't think he was that good.

A lot of people are sleeping on that part.
Last 5 minutes felt like 20. But it brought so much tension, so much excitement. And At first I thought AD winning it as a FT was BAD, but in reality, was a beautiful way to end it off for Kobe. For the Fans. Fixed *100%*

But they won't try hard against the BEST of the BEST in their same league? Me as a hyper-competitive person would want to prove I'm better than anyone else on the floor.
@Woops no body is saying they have to injure each other. But at least playing defense to a respectable level would be enough. Go back and look at the old all-star games (pre 2003)and they play actual defense and NO ONE has had injuries keeping them out of the playoffs or regular season games.

@@henriquesantos164 You stand still and take the contact from other player, making them commit offensive foul. On NBA level, with their body control, it requires incredible timing and feel for the game, as most players will avoid player taking the charge in time.

Intense defense in that 4th quarter. I willl say that there were a lot of fouls in that 4th quarter as well (Lowry involved in most). I heard the 8th highest amount of fouls in any NBA quarter this season.
Nonetheless, the game and the Saturday night festivities (dunk, 3pt, skills) were a pleasure to watch.
