Comparing the crack game in Harlem to a Fortune 500 boardroom is why he played himself. Streets you’re dealing with degenerate crackheads who cheat lie and steal for a $5 hit. Sitting down with CEOs is definitely a different game. Yelling at somebody is not a solution when you don’t agree with each other. In Dame’s head, he thinks by yelling at somebody you’re asserting your dominance and they will get so tired of you that they will eventually agree with you. Jay Z and Biggs definitely are gonna lay hands on him.

Dick Gregory said dont take your magic glasses off and put them on someone else and think they will see the same things as you .Most people will NEVER get the magic glasses unfortunately, and the people who have them gets frustrated occasionally because you wish other people can see what you see, but what Ive learned is just be the example and never take the glasses off to try and put on another person, hopefully they get there own one day or learn from my example. When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

He definitely cares, but that may not be the strongest example. He is a co-inventor of the game, so it's more of him being himself. Also, when he says he doesn't care, he isn't speaking about the people who depend on him (family) and many of his Harlem friends he invented the game with.

for me this easy to believe,,, i promise whoever reading this i ran into dame in front of the art gallery he owned in lower east side manhattan,,,he used to literally just walk around the area,,,i was trying to rap at the time so i walked up to him while he was just cooling in front his spot solo flipping thru his phone,,, at first he was kinda defensive and said to me " yo if i was still doing music u would see me out there " then when i was about to walk away he said " yo shorty u doing your own thing ? " i said " yeah " and told him about a battle rap league i was co founding at the time ,,he respected the fact i was trying to do something for myself and out his mouth he welcomed me to come show him my work any time ... did i keep up with the invite,,no..i was young and dumb,,but i can never forget him giving me the shot to show i was my own boss... i can see him treating everyone that way like dont waste my time unless u fighting for yourself

I have seen this A LOT . He think about it ...after the fact not on the spot . What I'm seeing is someone who's fear is exposing vulnerability. Sure he may be getting to a 》 where that can be "discussed " somewhat with a nurturing female counterpart (Rocky) but not males .

When you look at his personal life one of the biggest hits he took was his mom dying when he was a young teen and his father still dissed him & didn't take him in at that vulnerable stage. After that, showing vulnerability to others in life may have been challenging for me too if l see it had no effect on my own parent, it wud be extremely hurtful and disappointing. Now u gotta go thru life being tough and have a wall up even at times when its not necessary. He probably didnt get proper therapy & just accepted things. Not trying to excuse him to the hill but certain things lm sure shaped him into who he is & wat he still has trouble displaying as an older person today. Just my own thoughts tho😊❤

Facts. Shout out to Dame, great interview. But what people don’t understand is that as long as you live, everyday you’re creating your history. You’re going to create adventures, romance, highs, lows, beak ups, joy, happiness, experience, excitement, etc. So, anyone could meet you and ask questions about your past.
When we go for job interviews the interviewer don’t spend too much time discussing your future, they question your past experience to draw up a decision about how they view you. When we go to the doctor, the nurse and doctor don’t ask about your future, they want to know your history with food, allergies, diseases, etc! So, you can’t escape our past and who we meet that may question us about it. How we respond is our choice and what tone of voice we choose to respond in - is also our choice!
