Mostert was hurt at the end of LAST YEAR should have had surgery a lot sooner. Cant wait to see Mitchell & Wilson splitting 25 carries. Winning formula
That deep TD pass to Sherfield is the difference between Lance and Garrapolo. Jimmy would've hit Ayuik breaking open running across the middle. Lance has the arm and vision to hit sherfield breaking open deep.
@@litogonzalez1685 After years of not getting anything near that from Jimmy, it's just natural that fans love that particular play. Finally we will have a QB who can actually throw outside the numbers and down-field. Feels good to be moving on from Jimmy "over-the-middle" Garoppolo.
If Trey plays this week it will be because of time spend watching and learning. He has had time to really work on his footwork and mechanics. People are going to say he should have started and he would be further alone. I disagree there is a chance he could but their is also a chance it hurts him. Given a guy time to develop is not a negative thing it's just a safer way of going about it. Most teams don't have that option, but it they did a lot would go with the safer option.
Some guys that are starters from the get become good qbs, some dont there is no stat that says otherwise if he's a good qb he should be okay ,not a hater a niners fan for life.
Far more evidence suggesting time is a benefit for development with admitted exceptions. My hot take is had Washington been more patient with RG3 he'd be in the middle of a fine career not a perpetual backup. Fluidity of the offense > inherent athleticism IMO. Combining them? Oh man!
3 Things he needs to fix 1. Read the Defense, don't just line up and run the play, before you hike look at what the defense is doing pre-snap 2. Scan the field, stop looking for the big play every snap, and dont stare down one WR. Stop forcing the first pass option, sometimes they are not open, throw it away 3. Dont be afraid to take the hit, the over reliance on running evey time your first option is gone is a college habit, use your check down, run when you know there is no flats, or stay in the pocket and embrace the hit to get the pass off, You are going to get hit We believe in Trey, we know the potential is there, but he still has a lot of College habits he needs to shake off.
He looks terrible. Can't throw a spiral and has bad mechanics..it's like his passes are hard for the receivers to see. He has this weird throwing motion that causes bad timing with his receivers and dropped passes. He is a BUST! Should have drafted Davis Mills. Mill's has that classic throwing motion that Lance doesn't. The guy was playing down the road in Palo Alto at Stanford. Instead they trade up for this project qb.
He generates so much torque on his throws. He could be awesome, I hope he just learns to rein it in and make those easy throws, but no doubt he can hit windows downfield that many qbs wouldn't even think about. I'd like to see him out there just so he can get comfortable with the speed and find his zone. Guys like Dak and Russell were rough in their early years, but it paid off big to let them work through it.
Trey doing this with little experience and off a year should've let ppl know he will be a beast....but no he did this with starters and still they say he not ready it's just the Texans ....
If he just learns to shorten up and soften his throwing motion/release for short to intermediate routes he will be OP in shanahans system. Right now his wind up is too long on timing throws and he feels the need to dip down in his stance and lower his release point when he shouldn’t need to do that on short throws. He already has enough power it seems. He definitely has the ability to do this there are highlights here where he does shorten his release and reduce the dip in his stance before throwing.
The one thing I love about Trey is that he can evade da pass rush… ( it’s like he feels them comin ) but to be honest Trey has a lot of things he has to work on .
He needs to develop touch on some of his passes . Also he stares down his receivers too long and too much . I don’t see how he could be the franchise guy one day but Time will tell I guess . I still would have rather had fields
Watching trey lance in post season him and mostert are a dangerous combination defense's do not want any of that with that being said he does throw a lot of incomplete passes.
Niners probably keeping Jimmy G as insurance for Trey Lance. If you look at history Trey Lance more likely to be a midseason bust next year than superstar. If Trey is a superstar he should have shown it by now. All the superstar quarterbacks showed they were good the very first year in preseason or regular season. Russell Wilson showed greatness right off the start among others. So far this offseason we haven't seen any offseason workouts from Trey but we see him taking more vacations than what not. Green Bay just signed Aaron Rodgers to largest contract and he keeps losing to Jimmy G in the playoffs. Now which qb deserves more money. Niners getting a bargain if they keeping Jimmy G one more year for insurance or bail out Trey Lance midseason and then get a new contract to continue as the Niners QB. Even if Niners start with a 2-6 midseason record , Jimmy G is capable of winning 9 in a row for 49ers to end season at 11-6 and make the playoffs.
Sam LaPorta-IOWA.TE strong 💪Kittle like strong pass catcher. Lots of good players in draft to watch today..sadly 49ers you can't have any of them 🤣🎭because you gave your future away for a Bust...John and Kyle need to go to Jacksonville Jaguars where they will allowed to build a sucessful team. 49ers no longer have picks to build a team..SAD 🤣🎭💩🤡
Lance runs average and he's not very accurate and his deep throw are not accurate or high he's ok if he's gonna run all year and get sacked alot it's gonna be rough year
Trey will never get niners a winning season or a championship Trey may have some talent but losing games is not what the niners need I already gave up my season tickets when I found out the are handing the franchise to a green rookie gonna be a lot of losing seasons
Mostert was hurt at the end of LAST YEAR should have had surgery a lot sooner. Cant wait to see Mitchell & Wilson splitting 25 carries. Winning formula
Can't wait to get Mostert back. I was so excited to see him the first game of the season and how well he was playing before being placed on IR.
A healthy RB group next year will be devastating
They are abusing Mitchell rn, it’s been shown his body breaks down with 20+ carrie’s it should be spilt with wilson more rn
Every other #5 pass:
"Lance throws it... DROPPED!"
Trey areaaaa

Y’all live off that one highlight

Yep
@@litogonzalez1685 for real. One really good throw from 32 minutes
He can’t throw across the middle of the field

woah so awesome to see this in my feed! Always love to see your videos super happy to get an extra one this year
Respect to all the work that went into putting this together.
I can definitely see the potential. Once he gets more consistent with his footwork and ball placement, CURTAINS 💯
so much tape on just this preseason from last year to love hope or defense from camp this year has made him better
Thank you!
wellllll looks like he may get more chances now this weekend...
That bomb was the most exciting play of this entire season. AND it was PRESEASON!!!

@Jeff Williams that big wind up throwing motion is terrible.
It's like he's a rookie or something I mean come on get to do the break he hasn't even had a full starting season yet
He does the opposite of everything you said

TREYAREAAAAA
BOOM💥💥 FIRST!!👀
🏈🏈GO NINERS!!🏈🏈
CANT WAIT
Let's go Lance this week 💪 🙌
Trey Lance needs lots of work but he WILL eventually be a franchise QB
Has to break his tunnel vision if he wants to develop into a good passer from the pocket
Trey Lance to trey Sherfield trey area
All the potential in the world
16:11 such a beautiful throw
He needs to watch Russell Wilson
Man I hope he can improve on the over throws and misses
man...seeing mostert play....I miss seeing him play haha
Trey Lance needs to learn to slide if he don't his time in the NFL will be shorten
Trey doing this with little experience and off a year should've let ppl know he will be a beast....but no he did this with starters and still they say he not ready it's just the Texans ....

Wow has the narrative changed.
I forgot how fast he throws I'm pretty sure that's why the 9ers wasn't running no 2 qb schemes caused all those drop passes early in the season
The one thing I love about Trey is that he can evade da pass rush… ( it’s like he feels them comin ) but to be honest Trey has a lot of things he has to work on .
Trey's time is this Sunday watch!... One thing I love that Trey does that JG is horrible at is Trey can look the DBs off
Am I the only one getting Kaepernick Vibes 🤨
Looks like he should of had 6 picks against back ups lol
CBs aren't catching that heat. His WRs are having trouble catching it lol.
He needs to develop touch on some of his passes . Also he stares down his receivers too long and too much . I don’t see how he could be the franchise guy one day but Time will tell I guess . I still would have rather had fields
Your not a nfl gm
I’m starting to think we drafted Trey to make Jimmy look good
Same
Not working jimmy is still ass
@@nolifezay4636 exactly
He is definitely not better than Colin. He will get better
It’s looking bad for the niners if they don’t get a qb.

Looked very accurate until he got hit on the finger

You’re in here lying your ass off 🤣 Mahomes & Allen looked just like Trey. Damn near identical dude, stop lmao just stop.
Exactly what i was just gonna say
Ok don't like those designed qb runs he is going to get hurt. He doesn't slide well he goes head first into defenders. All bad
Ha what a fucking bust I knew it from the beginning he would have never worked out and we made a mistake by trading up, god I’m happy he’s gone.
Too many dropped passes by recievers..

Greg Papa annoys me so damn much. Why'd the 9ers hire him, his perception is as the Raiders guy.
These announcers are insufferable
Who cares? Jimmy G is better! If Trey Lance was better? He would've already been starting!
This statement shows u know nothing about the politics of football

Congrats. Keep the same energy and stay home when things turn out differently.
i hate sermon honestly....i wish they would dump him, terrible RB for this system.
Not much to like so far.
