Did you watch the most recent DPR Ian stuff? I you haven't please react to it. His most recent solo MVs are Peanut Butter & Tears, Don't Go Insane, So I Danced and Limbo. I highly recommend the Miito Movie (Seraph + 1Shot + Mood + Ribbon) though since it's a medley of 4 songs around 7 minutes. His music covers a lot of genres, so diverse yet somehow distinctively him.
I don't know if you're aware but funny enough, even with him now being a singer, he was the main rapper of his Kpop group (C-Clown). He said his idol days were like hell because of the abuse and humiliation he had to go through plus how creatively deprived he was (I mean you don't create your song, dance, video, anything). He doesn't regret it though since it's what made him greedy to pursue his vision once he was free besides the people that he met.
The group disbanded in 2015 then he went on to shoot music videos for other artists (like for YG entertainment, Blackpink's company) so he could save money and invest into cofounding DPR and making it what it is now. For many years he was just behind the cameras, shooting videos for DPR's first artist, his best friend, who is now DPR Live (you've reacted to him before) It was only 2020 that Ian released his first MV as a solo artist.
He's very vocal about mental health and a lot of his lyrics and concepts are about his struggles with bipolar disorder and DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) even if he turns it around and most of them are fun takes. He created a whole cinematic universe around it and is such a storyteller as you can see from this MV. His songs and MVs stand out on their own though even if you don't know the backstory.
I'm very proud of all the praise for the MV he's receiving and he has come a long way in the 12 years he has been in the industry.. Going from a doomed Kpop group that lasted just 3 years (poor C-Clown...) to working with - the - IU, Korea's sweetheart. He's so multitalented (can even play bass, keyboard and the drums plus he dances). Genuine guy also and really deserves the recognition. I'm glad that IU trusted his work. If you want of course, react to him again It'd be great.

This song is a continuation of the story started in Holssi. Holssi was about her making the decision to go big or go home (my words not hers). In Holssi she tells us she goingvto take on the risk and how high she can go. This comes after her havingvdecided to retire after the Golden Hour Concert. But the concert and her fans support re energized her and she replaced the question marks with exclamation points. Shopper continues that story but now she is telling how she is going to be victorious. By dreaming big outrageous dreams and going all in.
Note that when she is outside of the theater their are Dandylion seeds floating around her. After she goes inside and for the rest of the video the Dandylion seedsxare replaced with confetti a sign of celebration and victory.
There are other connections as well. For .example, in Holssi there is a single dancer dressed in blue. Blue plays a big role in Shopper as Ian is dressed in Blue and his car is blue etc. There is more, but I'll leave it to you guys to figure out. Plus how many references are there to her past songs and albums? There ar.e several.
