The 4 - 93's are dang expensive by themselves and a heck of an accomplishment alone , and to add the rest of the set !! WOW, just WOW 😳 Awesome accomplishment 👏👏👏 Congratulations, many of us have been watching you thread along putting this together and couldn't be happier for you 😊
Thank I really appreciate it. I love old coins and make these videos. I try to entertain and make it fun and educational. I’m no pro just love to collect and learn and share my experiences. Thanks for watch I really appreciate it.
@@KY_Coins_and_Collectible-wk7xx True i agree with you. As you said collecting coins is fun as well as a good investment. It is also one of the best way to save the Heritage 😊👑👍 Keep collecting more rare coins 👍👍👍 Have a Fabulous Day 🎉☀️🎊
Congrats. Something to be very proud of sir. You got me wanting to start a date set from watching your video's. Lots of great info in this one an for that I thank you.
very very cool. i am still 10 coins shy from a complete set. obviously the 1893 s is one i still need. it is awesome to see a complete set. i understand all the work time and money that goes into it. great job. you really have something special. 👍🏻✨
What an accomplishment. My son and I just started, and we are expecting our 8th Morgan in the mail tomorrow. We are so excited about your collection. Congrats, really cool.
That’s awesome congratulations on starting your collection. It’s soo much fun and a great journey as well. You all will have a blast. Thanks for watching.
Im a little late to the party, but good deal, sir. It is inspiring to see. I only started collecting a few years back and have a long way to go, but seeing your set is both inspiring and makes me a bit envious. In a good way. I am looking forward to the day I can share my own accomplishments.
Congratulations on completing your remarkable collection! Truly a beautiful collection, I get excited listening to you because it is obvious from your tone you are excited.
I got the honor to hold an 1895 proof. It was for sale around $100k and when I went back to the LCS, they said it “sold” but still had it on display. Congrats on completing the set!
Congrats on finishing your set! Very cool!! I submitted my first ever small group in to NGC for grading and had one interesting "UNC Details" come back. May do a video to share and if so will tag you. A grade I've never seen before so might be a good one to document. Hope you've been doing well and cheers to a killer album completion!! Congrats again!
Here's a suggestion for the 1895-P. Take a cull Morgan and paste a note on the coin 'Proof only' as a placeholder. I've been working on my Morgans for quite a few years. I wish I would have picked up the rare dates back then but I didn't make enough money to put out the money. I'm happy with the quality of what I have. Back then I picked up the 'common' CCs (1878, 1882, 1883, 1884) in Unc at $275 for all 4.
Congratulations, I am so happy for you, I have about 15 or so Morgan’s different dates all in good condition, by budget, maybe one day I’ll get there, Keep Stackin bro
Thanks BigO, it’s a fun hobby and it’s a good way to spend some money and it keep its Vaule and appreciate some. The Morgans are a great set to collect. A lot of fun. You can put a set together at any condition and price range. Happy collecting.
I am so impressed, I consider it,a amazing accomplishment, Blood sweat and tears got that silver out of the ground , And those coins have been touched by history ,I would love to have a complete set of Morgan’s,what do you value the set at?
It’s really hard to find a nice circulated 85-CC. I’ve never found one I like. Your books look great. I have them all too. Mine are all slabbed and I can’t bring myself to crack them out to put in an album.
Sir I’m really happy for you. That’s a beautiful collection you have there. Your diligence and commitment to complete this set is noteworthy. 🫡 Thank you for sharing it with us. I’m pretty sure you’ll inspire a lot of collectors and stackers. 🙏🏽
Have you tried finding the survival stats on the 93S ? I'll bet there can't be many still around... only 100,000 originally. I'm just at the point in the video where you joked on busting it out 😂 I'm sure they have means of determining "cleaning" ..,but, with that. I've seen other AG grades that look the same as this that are straight graded. Maybe worth pondering a resubmit as a crossover only..not busting it out, just submitted slabbed to pcgs/ngc.
Personally, I like that some of your Morgans show circulation wear. It’s more visually interesting to see coins in various conditions. If every coin is mint state, it’s frankly kind of boring… even if it’s impressive from a collecting standpoint. 🙂
I agree completely and I think it’s shows a lot of character and it soo cool to think where all that coin has been and who all has held it. Thanks for watching.
Suggestion: Remove the plastic sliders before filming the coins. I've been collecting Morgans for about 40 years. I used to be able to buy a lot of high quality semi-keys for less than $50 each. My 1878-CC, 1882-CC, 1883-CC and 1884-CC are at least MS-63 and I paid less than $125 each for them because they're the most common of the CCs. But now, to complete my collection I will need to spend lots of money. What I'm missing is the 1879-CC, 1881-CC, 1885-CC, 1889-CC, 1893-O, 1893-CC, 1893-S (to be expected), 1894-P, 1895-P (I saw a couple for sale which are slabbed. One is in G-4, the other in G-6. Even so, they're expensive.), 1895-S, plus some of the major recognized varieties. One of the Morgans I'm proud of is my 1921-D. I cherry picked it out of a roll of 1921-Ds and paid $55 for it. It looked PL so I sent it in to ANACS for a cert. Well, it didn't come back with a PL designation since the grader wrote the mirror fields aren't deep enough. But it did come back with a straight MS-64 grade. I'm tempted to send it in to PCGS or NGC for a regrade. The fields are deep mirrored with the images on both sides nicely frosted.
Sound like you have had a great time collection over the years and got some really amazing coins and great deals on them them. Thanks for watching and happy collecting.
So did you actually find the lost civil war gold hahahaha that's an absolutely incredible accomplishment. I am to cheap to complete my anacs soapbox holder Denomination Type collection haha
Thanks Tom for watching. Sadly that was not me that found the lost civil war gold in KY. I did hear all about it and I believe that was in northern Ky and boy wouldn’t that be amazing. 😅
Do you feel tempted at all to break it out so you fill the empty spot in the album? I am almost done with my set and I have 7 in holders but sometimes wish I had coins to fill the holes instead. But still not gonna break out the slabbed copies.
Yeah there's a few that where there is only 1 Morgan date idk if I can believe it lol that's a ridiculous amount of money over a million dollars easily
@KY_Coins_and_Collectible-wk7xx I did a video on an ms 64 and it looked terrible haha your doing a great job, and it helps to have great coins like this for sure!!!!
Glad you got it, but the only thing more agonizing than watching your video that I’ve experienced were kidney stones, prostate exams and root canals. I watched for 15 flippin’ minutes before you opened the pack.
Always just use cleaned or slick Morgan’s for albums no need in putting nice expensive coins in the album not going to get top dollar out of a set of slick Morgan silver dollars
set not complete 100 per cent, must have the 1895 dollar its a morgan its needed, plenty of 1893s about, go to heritage you will see many completed sales
I would not upgrade those just let them go nobody going to pay a lot more for a coin that goes from vf20 to vf25 better off just saving money invest into something else
Don’t take this wrong way but that coin just does not do anything for me at all on one hand the thought of who owned it is cool but I just think the mint state coins are better looking to me and the reason the main company’s don’t put a grade in detail coins is then people would sell at that detail grade when a coin is detail graded it is no longer a whole coin
This is one of those accomplishments that people outside of the numismatic community would under value. Congratulations on the achievement!
Yes I would agree. They need to go start trying to find some key dates and they would see real fast. Lol 😂
Congrats on completing your set.
Thanks!
Big like number 172! Thank you so much for sharing!
You have a awesome collection sir. Very, very nice!

Thank Michael. I appreciate it and you watching
I am so happy for you! My dad was never able to finish his Morgan’s. I am now four coins away. It’s quite an accomplishment.
@@MikeMAYNES thanks brother and it really is tough I’ve been working on it for a long time. And have spent a lot of money on it.
Very nice share. Some great coins. Thank you
Fantastic Collection, Thank you for showing it

Wow wonderful set! So happy you finally managed to complete it!

I don’t consider the 95 Proof as part of the set. Nice pickup.
I agree. 👌🏼 thanks for watching
I sold my first date set to buy my first car. That really brought back memories. Glad I didn't click off after the 93s lol
Kilroy was here (I hope you enjoy it)
Very nice set brother something to be proud of. Hey get me a job where you work. Just kidding Im retired and loving it. Watch all you're videos .
Heck of an accomplishment! Really nice Morgan set. Congrats!

Congrats on the fine looking collection
