Okay, Mark inSpiers deleted my comment that explained exactly what the calendar is, and it's not anything controversial, nor did I explain it in a demeaning way as if he's stupid, so there was no reason to delete it. That really makes me wonder about his intentions. I'll post it again:
That Bible is just showing the Hebrew calendar months like they are in out solar calendar. But because the Hebrew calendar is 30 day months and 360 days a year, they have a 13th month they used to add in every few years to catch back up with the solar calendars that the rest of the world uses. That's all it is. The Bible is just helping people understand their calendar. Their calendar starts in the Spring.
And we know for certain, from scripture, that Jesus was born in the fall because John the Baptist was born 6 months earlier when Zechariah was starting his temple service. When you do the math, it works out to a Fall birth for Jesus, most likely on Feast of Trumpets (which announces God's arrival) or Feast of Tabernacles/Tents (which represents God with us). We're not certain which day exactly, but we know Jesus fulfilled every one of the Feast days in the Bible, and that's likely how He fulfilled those two. September 11th is when America officially founded its first colony in Amsterdam and Henry Hudson dedicated it to God that day, linking us to Him just like Israel was linked to Him through a covenant. Feast of Trumpets on the Hebrew calendar sometimes comes out to September 11th, depending on the year. It's possible, but we don't know for sure. Interesting.

Thank you for the well through out response to the 13 months. I after I created this I learned with intercalary was and understood that the Veeder root reference and 13 was just basically like a leap year. I do think it probably would’ve been better to have 13 months in 28 days and use that still 13th for intercalary when necessary 13 months in 28 days follows nature. I think the funnier reality from this video being out there is not one person has come in and said no Mark. Jesus (Yehushua) was born on December 25th 😂

One thing it included was this: Prince James Francis Edward Stuart, 1688 - 1766. Son of James VII and II. That's who the Bible is dedicated to, or possibly his son. Not sure which.

12 x 28 is only 336, plus one day (interclary) equals 337. 13 months x 28 days equals 364, plus 1 day, gives you 365. So there is some discrepancy with your hypothesis.

Another problem is that IF March is the first month of 28 days, then how on Earth in the Roman calendar June is the 5th month , July the 6th, August the 7th, October the 8th etc.. something is off since if March is the first month, June should be.... the FOURTH month, not the fifth....
Months is derived from the word moons. Each lunar moon or month has 29.5 days in it. And the word easter is pagan fertility goddess. Constantine used easter to replace Passover!.

Intercalary means that veadar, meaning "second adar", is inserted only on some years as needed to keep the lunar months/cycles in synch with nature.
Yes I have heard the 1st of April was His birthday. I also agree the months are screwed up I don’t think the order of our months is right either. Why did they feel the need to change it. Because they wanted our collective energies for their own rituals in their attempts at raising you know who. They needed our attention to their demonic rituals without our knowing. It is actually tishrei which is the month of Jesus's birth. I'm writing 100 page book about the daniel 9 prophecy, proving Jesus fulfilled it, and it seems Jesus was probably born in Tishrei
Plus I had to learn the Jewish calendar to defend my position as I debated Seminary students and authors preaching a futurist view of daniel 9. I am trying to get a futurist to debate me again to test my book out on before releasing it, but after reading it, a new believer should be able to hold their own enough with a Seminary professor to know the Seminary professor has no idea what they are talking about.

Hi Mark, I did some research on "The Table of Time" that you shared from your 1775 Bible: this yearly calendar is from the Hebrew calendar. Regarding the Intercalary Veadar is the same as our {Julian calendar} March 11 - April 8 2023. Thank you for sharing more!
Thank you for the update! I was leaning towards it meaning a day but that would make more sense. I am sure there are all sorts of cool passages in this Bible! I also looked into it some more and it looks like they didn’t take the apocrypha out of the English Bible till 1795 so mine should have it in but I think it’s interweaved throughout the old testement. At least my table of contents says it’s there! I have that video for tomorrow!

From my own research into the 1775 bible, combined with the Book of Enoch, the calendar should be:
1. Watch for the Spring equilux.
2. Day 1 of the new year is the 1st day after the equilux (usually March 17th).
3. The months proceed regularly with the number of days as 30, 30, 31, 30, 30, 31, 30, 30, 31, 30, 30, 31.
4. Again, watch for the Spring equilux. If needed, add ONE MORE DAY (the 13th month) to complete the year.
PS: This means the Sabbath will fall on a different day of the Solar/Gregorian week every new year. HOWEVER, it still always falls on the 7th day of the week for every new month in the original Enochian calendar, and the intercalary days (31 day months) have an extra sabbath day on the 31st day. The 4th (last) sabbath day is a prolonged sabbath that extends as many days as needed (3 or 4) to the end of the month, every month.
This is my own understanding.
It feels very right to me. More sabbath (rest) at the end of every month, and mankind is in harmony with nature.
The first day of the first month of every new year is ALWAYS simply "DAY ONE". The first sabbath is always, again simply, the 7th day.
It may seem odd at first, but you'll find it's actually much more simple and elegant than the current calendar.

13 Months each having 28 days = 364 days - the 13th month gets the one day when you need to apply it, likely as its a quarter day it will be every 4 years.

It's OK, as long as there are the right amount of days in between the solstice's and the equinox's. That counts for the time change in the seasons. There were 10 months to start with, cause winter wasn't that important. But to be correct they added January & February. They should have gone after December, but they but them before March.
You should print copies of this book .
My understanding is that a day was signified starting at sunrise and if you keep that in mind you realize that there are 13months of 28 days. Man created hours and tried to divide the day accordingly. There would be 13 months period but the extra hours of daylight/night are hard to track so in order to accommodate they added another day. The other story I’ve been told is that his rising from the tomb upset the natural order of the universe that god had set upon it and for that the universe seemed as if to stand still for a day. I interpreted this as his rising added a day to the earths rotation around the sun.

Research the Bible , you didn't read what we have in our days, unfortunately , but you have the closest to origin. I would even join your lessons with this bible, if you would read it .

From evening to evening starts and ends a day. A New Moon starts a Month. And it starts a year on the New Moon Abib means green ears of barley and they would watch for this in Israel. Which is the 1st Month of the year and is the same Month that Passover, and Unleavened Bread is. This was the season of Christ death, and his Birth was in the 7th Month around the Feast of Tabernacle. Moons are for seasons

I love that it's a bible from the revolutionary times. I love that he was with George Washington. What is the value of that? I cannot put prices on any colonial things but a bible has to be priceless. Coolest America era. Birth of a nation.
Not sure there is much real world value for it but I too am so in love with the reality they this was printed in England while they were fighting to keep America. That means the country read that Bible believing God was going to make them victorious. My Bible was owned by Stephen Howell he was born October 23, 1744 if you pop that in his gravestone and some information popped up. He lived in sag harbor Ny and when Washington came to town he was so moved to fight for freedom that he left with him! I’ve been live 1,753 days in a row long form creating songs, comedy and intending to bring as many people together for some positivity away from the negativity and I sometimes wonder if having this Bible in the room with me for 4+ years while UA-cam keeps the world away from such positivity and live creation is how I keep showing up anyway like there is this extra energy of “You can’t stop Me” just a few feet away at all times!

Each month is 30 days except the solstice and equinox months having 31. The intercalculating period runs after the spring equinox which is why it splits March. The first morning after vernal equinox is the first day of the new year

@@MarkPires looking at the context of the rest of the bible and the way they lay out the days, I'd say Cephyr13 theory is the more likely. The calendar I mention is the one Yeshua was using but has passed in and out of our knowledge as it has been banned and found several times
Oh my, this is fantastic. It would be wonderful if you could do Bible readings from the start. This book would be more true than the Bible’s we have now. Open our eyes and read this to us as a Bible study group.
Jesus was not born 1st of April but rather in the Hebrew Biblical feast called Sukkot. Its an eight day feast. On the eighth day Jesus was circumcised. Read gospel of John 1:14 and it says that Jesus/Yeshua and the Word became flesh and pitched His tent (Sukka/booth) among us. Shalom
The reason they had a 13th month is because the ancient Israelites used both the sun and the moon to determine their calendar (Gen. 1:14). 12 lunar cycles (months) fell short of the annual solar cycle (i.e. from spring one year to to spring the next year) by 10 days because each lunar month had either 29 or 30 days between new crescents, that is, the first visible waxing lunar crescent that appeared in the evening sky after sunset to mark the beginning of the new month.
So after 3 years, the lunar calendar would have fallen behind by 30 days, and so they would add a 13th month to make up for the deficit and synchronize the sun and the moon once again, and this would keep their new year in the spring (March/April). Otherwise the new year would drift through the four seasons over the years, starting in each season (spring, summer, fall, and winter) for three years each before starting the cycle again from the start after 12 years.
I guess this wouldn't have been a problem had Yahwe not instructed the Israelites to determine the crescent that appeared around the time that the barley heads began to ripen in the spring, which was known to the pagans at that time as the month of Aviv, as their first month (Ex 13:4, 12:1).
So the 13th month was intercalated to synchronize the solar and lunar cycles in order to ensure that the first month always started in the spring.

A 28 day 13 month lunar calendar is what the ancients went by. 28 X 13 = 364 and July 25 is known as the day out of time, it is when Sirius rises with the Sun.

Intercalary actually meant this:
A month inserted every other year to bring the short lunar calendar into balance
It was necessary for the lunar year of about 354 days to be brought into line with the solar (agricultural) year of approximately 365 days. This was accomplished by the use of an intercalated month. Thus, in the 21st century BCE a special name for the intercalated month iti dirig appears in the sources. The intercalation was operated haphazardly, according to real or imagined needs, and each Sumerian city inserted months at will-e.g., 11 months in 18 years or two months in the same year.

Babylonian calendar calculators succeeded in computing an almost perfect equivalence in a lunisolar cycle of 19 years and 235 months with intercalations in the years 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, and 19 of the cycle. New Year’s Day (Nisanu 1) now oscillated around the spring equinox within a period of 27 days.
The Babylonian month names were Nisanu, Ayaru, Simanu, Duʾuzu, Abu, Ululu, Tashritu, Arakhsamna, Kislimu, Tebetu, Shabatu, Adaru. The month Adaru II was intercalated six times within the 19-year cycle but never in the year that was 17th of the cycle, when Ululu II was inserted.
These are the Babylonian months and are named after some gods of Mesopotamia

It’s 364 days in a year not 365. The book of jubilee says this. It’s 4 seasons each season lasting 13 weeks. Which equals 91 days. So 91*4 is 364. It’s 52 weeks in a year. So if 7 days makes a week. Then 52*7 equals 364. You take 364 and divide it by 28 and that equals 13. The book of jubilee says it’s 28 days in a month and 364 days in a year. So this is common sense. That’s 13 months with each month having 28 days in it. That’s according to the moon phases. The moon phase is for 28 days.

No, ve-Adar is a whole month. There are twelve months at 29 or 30 days alternating - they're Lunar months. In 19 years, seven years have thirteen months, and twelve years have twelve months. The Jewish people still use this calendar today to calculate Passover and all the other Jewish religious holidays described in the Bible. I thought of course any Christian serious enough to buy a 1755 Bible would know all this stuff.

365 days divided by 13 months equals 28 complete days each month. all 13 months have 28 days exact. 365/13 = 28.0.
There are also 7 days per moon phase, and 7 days per week, each month follows the moons cycles, and matches the astrological times, and events. The day of rest during the week represents the moon at its center point of each phase of its cycle.

The Hebrew calendar has leap months, not leap days! A 13th (leap) month is added on to the year in the 3rd, 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th and 19th year of each 19-year cycle.

It’s a Beit Adar . A second month of the month Adar to allow the barley to ripen . After about three years the calendar runs out of wack and needs an additional month added . The Temple priests would for the barley to ripen, but if it was to green they waited one more month . Nisan is the month of ripe corn . This is not Zea Mayes or American corn . Small grain is referred to as corn . This is the REASON for the FESTIVAL OF UNLEAVENED BREAD . By now the wheat harvested in summer is too expensive for the poor so the poor rely on the barley to make bread from . This is also the grain fed to chickens and some farm animals with the stalks used as well .

The fact that this Bible has been made by "His majesty's special command", makes it unique, special , rare, and most likely to be biased, specifically to appease whatever views this Prince had. To appease a man, rather than God. We have older bibles like "Duay Rheims", so this custom bible is definitely going to be biased in order not to upset this princess special command to make it...

If you read that bible, it will explain the 13th month. Some years, according to God's reckoning of time, have a 13th month. Simple. At the end of the 12th month, if the barley is not Aviv, then there is a 13th month. At the end of that 13th month, is the new 1st month of the year. Every year starts when the barley is Aviv. If the barley is not Aviv, the year has not begun. It's not like they just add a new month to catch up. And according to God's reckoning of time, not every month is 30 days. The months begin with the sighting of the new moon. Some months are 29 days, some 30, some 31 depending on a verified sighting. This is all in the Torah.

12 months at 28 days would be 336 if it was 12 months then it’d be 30.4 days a month with Vader being .6 x 12 or 6days
I was originally considering 13 months at 28 days which is interestingly 364 days and the intercalery/ Veader would be that 365th but I was wrong.

According to Ethiopian calander the year 2024/April/2 is 2016/07/24. If you come to Ethiopia you will be almost 8 years younger. Ethiopian's calander is the right and very precise calender. Gregorian and Julian calenders are destorted over time.
This explanation doesn't make sense. 12 months times 28 days is not 364 days. Also, that Bible shows March and April in the first column. I don't understand how you are determining that it is April 1st.

I'm afraid you're way off. The Hebrew calendar has 12 months, each 29 or 30 days. The total number of days being 354. Leap years on the Hebrew Calendar have an extra month. It's insert after the month of Adar, and nowadays we call it Adar Beth. It's not "Vader." It's "Veh-Adar," "And Adar" - that is, an additional Adar. There are 7 leap years in a 19 year cycle, and that works out to synch the lunar calendar with the seasons, and results in a lunisolar calendar.

You are referencing a manmade table, not actual scripture. Said table may have been added to scripture, but is not scripture. Is the calendar we use wrong? Yes. Is April a Biblical month? No.

I am referencing the Time table used in 1775. That is the point of the content not that it was God’s word but that we as a society used the calendar in my Bible in 1775 and today celebrates Jan. 1 as new year, I don’t know what that changed.. May need to research and do a piece on that too 🤔

The Jews adopted the Babylonian names of the months such as Nissan, during the Babylonian captivity. They had a solar calendar up until 165BCE. Then they adopted a lunar calendar. You see this problem during the crucifixion because Jesus ate the Passover the day before he was crucified. At sunrise it was the Sabbath of the unleavened bread. But the Pharisees Sabbath did not start sundown. Jesus kept the solar calendar.

Nothing but an old King James Version. You can find John Calvin commentary on the passages you asked. The Geneva Bible 1614 I believe was first full English Bible. If you know Latin the Latin vulgate Bible was around from 400 till 1600. Key note before printing press most bibles would cost 30 to 60k
