Matching up with the accompaniment on this was the DEVIL. Y'all. I couldn't hear anything to save my life and the tempo changes were just like.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
BUT! Here is QuaranLieder #2 requested by @ VinneyT on Twitter: Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen, by G. Mahler. It's a gorgeous and incredibly heavy piece of music, and I'll post the translation below so we can all share the existential angst together.
Also can I just say it's really bizarre to sing a huge piece like this (that's usually done with orchestra) through some tinny headphones? Weird, y'all.

Wow ok i got it, for a minute i was just watching her face expression and felt the sadness, then she gave an emptiness look and i felt that, i got goosebumps and had to look away for a second lol. I see she isn't just trying to sound perfect but also acting the part, great performance.
And if that sadness and emptiness is real............................

It’s such a totally different world of music than what most of us are used to hearing. Very beautiful. I don’t even know how the music tells you when to come in. The amount of training needed must be incredible!
