- The final hours of the dance of the dragons was about to begin, those Lord Cregan stark had deemed guilty of crimes against the throne were to meet there fate in front of the small folk of kings landing. Kings Guard, Councilmen and Stewards alike all faced the justice of the lord of winterfell and Ice.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on George R R Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

@@alvaromneto technically but also looking at this that most of those that were scheming for the past 20 to 30 years prior are dead now or no longer have power/sway and its like a soft reset. As well putting all the other house in check with a "fk around and find out". Cregan should loyalty not to the oath but the crown its self and by doing this it should that winter can always come if someone else want to hop on the iron throne that's not supposed to be. Simply and may have prevented more unrest and civil war because there are other that can attest and at the end of the day it about who has the most support and stark will not support the side that would kill the boy who is uncrowded king. And no one wants that smoke.
@@alvaromnetoabsolutely. I think part of why he was so thorough in his justice was because he was grumpy about not getting his war so he just said "fine I'm gonna have my fun anyway." Hell he was probably trying to annoy someone enough to get a fight started
I wonder who will play Lord Cregan Stark. He'd be in his early 20s, grey eyes, dark hair and beard presumably. Hope we get a glimpse in Season 2 🐺
I'm thinking we have to see him in season 2 given Jaces trip up north. I have a feeling they might expand that plot line a bit to spend more time at winterfell

Yes, it is reforged during the war of the five kings (GoT). Tywin Lannister melts it and makes two arming 1-handed swords out of it. Widow's Wail and Oathkeeper.
Widow's Wail is gifted to king Joffrey "Baratheon" at the time, and Oathkeeper is given to Jaime Lannister.
Jaime gives Oathkeeper to Brienne, and Widow's Wail goes to Jaime Lannister for some time, until he is arrested by Daenerys and the sword's whereabouts are lost.
Now in the show, Brienne keeps Oathkeeper, in the book she is executed by an undead Lady Stark and Oathkeeper is also lost.

This episode shows things didnt end the way they said in fire and blood omg it was soooooo good
i don't hate the change in fact i kinda like it. the change they made was a theory for a long time. but for me it never added up, i'm interested to see how the show handles the long term impact (Addam of Hull claiming Seasmoke).
Loved the ending so much. I knew they wouldn't show Rhaenyra killing her spouse TOO. 😆 They already did our boy Daemon dirty by blaming his 1st wife's death on him...

It's inconceivable that those king's guard men were doomed without evidence of any performance in the assassination plot for King Aegon II while Tyland Lannister outlived all those executions and recovered his position in the king's council! Simply ridiculous!

If you read what I said, you’d realise that I was criticising you for putting forward actors of all different ages as possible castings, not for putting forward older actors. So you can have your daft back genius. But clearly you’ve got enough of that. They’ve never aged up a character by more than a few years, apart from Missandei, who again, was aged for viability reasons. There’s no real need to age Cregan Stark up, especially since we met his father in the earlier episodes, so he must still be young. Lord Cregan has a lot to do after the Dance as well, another reason why drastically changing his age wouldn’t make sense. Use your head next time.

I've seen people on reddit suggesting the actors who played child ned (whom i reckon is in 18s 20s more or less) and young ned to be cast as Cregan, not sure if these are too options but it would be interesting.

I hope they cast Alexander Dreymon as Cregan Sark who played Uthred of Bebanburg from the last kingdom (very underated show) since they cast some of the actor from the series like Aemond and Helaena , it will be very interesting to see them played a character on opposite side.

I mean I miss the stark but if the conclusion of the series just end when Rhaenyra and Aegon died its kinna unsatisfied.. Hour of The Wolf is important in the dance of dragon..

I think it'll be at least two episodes, possibly three. It's looking like it's gonna be four seasons so I see Rhaenyra dying around episode four or five, the next few episodes focusing on the aftermath including the poisoning of King Aegon, and ending with the Hour of the Wolf and Aegon iii becoming king
