The video along with the written instructions is like having a belt and suspenders! Lots of support for your stitchers and a variety of learning methods, thank you!
Thank you for doing this wonderful tutorial! I read through the finishing instructions and didn't think the finishing would be too hard. This video confirms it and now I'm very confident to finish my Banner!! I would love to see more finishing videos as I don't have a local shop.
Oh boy! I was excited to see a third banner in your newsletter and then I realized it was probably released at a retreat...but it will come out eventually. I’m happy to wait. Thank you for the free pattern and for making this tutorial. Very helpful.
You did answer my question, Cathy!!! Thank you so very much!!! I really enjoy this amazing tutorial, you are an extraordinary teacher. Thanks again and have a beautiful December! 😘😍❤️🎄
Thanks for the tutorial! I believe the hook you have from your grandmother is a Tunisian or Afghan crochet hook. I have several of them and do Tunisian crochet.
Hi Cathy and Lorna! I really enjoyed watching the tutorial today. I haven't stitched the banner yet, but it's on my list of projects to stitch very soon. Your instructions are so clear and helpful. Thank you!
The scissors are by Karen Kay Buckley. They are designed for applique. They have a serrated edge that goes all the way to the point. They come in several sizes and each size has different colored handles. Great scissors for cutting small and/or intricate pieces. I love mine!
Thanks for this video. I had read the instructions and this video answered most of those questions. Only question I have is the brand of DST (double sided tape). I bought some online but it was REALLY sticky and hard to manage. Your tape appears to stick well AND be manageable. Thanks and have a great week!
Just a comment about the templates. I downloaded it to my phone and printed it and proceeded to cut them all out. I even did a second set to get ahead only to discover that my triangles didn't match the size listed. I redownloaded to my iPad and put it into IBooks and printed again. This time the measurements were correct. My first templates all printed too small. It must have printed to fit or something or had a margin from my phone even though it was 8-1/2 x 11. So maybe advise people to check the measurements on their templates before cutting everything. I had just assumed it printed correctly and didn't check it.

It is called Stitchery Tape. You can see a picture of the packaging on my website. Look under the Hands Online section of the shopping pages. 👍🏻
you two are adorable together. :)
I think finishing would be more fun when doing it along with someone :-)
I would like an Easter bunny with colored eggs. Maybe a little lamb in one of the banners. Done on a light pink fabric.
You’ve been thinking about this😂❤️

Adherence is a word. I didn't even have to type the whole word before Google filled it in! 😉
I looked it up too🤣❤️
You could just say tape. I think we all get it that it's double-sided. No need to repeat it.That'll make it easier on you.
No worries, I’m used to saying it when I teach classes 🤣❤️
