  • The Bark River Cub EDC is a scaled down version of the popular Cub that came out several years ago. The blade is shortened to 3.8 inches, but the EDC's handle appears to be about the same size as its larger cousin.
This makes this knife wonderful for people with large hands.

I love my full sized Cub, so I'm sure this sized version would make a great edc knife.

The height of the grind BRK chose is interesting. The Grizzly is almost a full height grind. The grind on The Cub is to the bottom of the fuller. The Cub EDC is so much lower and the flat surface gets narrower. Odd look which is not as important as slicing ability. But, I guess this does make the tip stronger. I have a couple, but think I'll send in my favorite for a FHG and sell the other.

    Nice review!
By the way, do you know which sheath that is? I just got my Cub EDC today and hate the original sheath already.
