A 16 bit Megadrive version of Station Square. Went through a few iterations but settled on something that has the classic feel but doesnt take too much from the original. Recreated entirely in VOPM, using OPM files from classic Sonic games. Enjoy.

If humanity we're so damned advanced in 1980-90 and developed a 2008 looking 3D game, but with a nostalgic music effects in the OST
*1998 looking 3D game, actually. :)
This game came out just a few years after the Genesis/Mega Drive games, but a lot changed in that time... and yeah, it's still weird to have this old-school synth music playing in a 3-D game.
Remove The ' At "Were" ( I Know That I'm Late BTW)
Nice remix Yuzoboy, although something doesn't sound quite right in it. This may be one of those tracks that is extremely hard to replicate right on Mega Drive sound hardware. Good attempt but.
This is the music for the hub area in the Lock-On Technology game for Sonic:3, you can interact with NPCs, and enter buildings, like the diner.

The chubby character designs in the original SA were cuter, though I don't especially miss the jagged edges and mitt-like hands! Someone should tweak the new models to have the old proportions, to get the best of both.
PS: Oh, and SADX is also missing most of the texture detail, which is a crime. :(

Keegan The Memelord I think I know shy, he used mania sprites which if you look tails's sprite sheet foesn't have his tails.
The tails are on the sheet too, and easy to attach.

Now it sounds like a Gen 1 - 5 Pokémon town or route theme, which is definitely a good thing.

I'm sorry Yuzoboy, but i didn't really like this one. The high pitched vocal or whatever its called didn't sound right to me. It also sounded dead, like when your gameboy is low on batteries. No worries tho, i won't dislike :)

Dosent this sound like you could blend the original with we built this city?
The main note is too high. Bring that one level down and then this will be perfect. The guitar is a low note instrument so the high pitch version of the main notes don't quite fit in this scenario.
