For those referring to him as the other dude :
He is a lebanese guitarist called Alain Ibrahim and his band is called Turbulence, and yes he's been dropping our jaws ever since he was 10 years old.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Ty
Could not rememeber it. Thanks
cool, thankyou.
Send him the guitar Jared. So he can sign it and send it back to you.
Savage
but fair
Stop, he's already dead
THIS SHOULD BE THE TOP COMMENT
😂😂😂😂
best comment lmao
If hes not invited to be in this years shred collab...I will be VERY dissapointed....
I agree
It will literally be only him lol How funny would be a shred collab with only him shredding everyone's riffs 🤣🤣
Well...
I think we will don't get a Shred Collab anymore.
@@FuttotaKuma why? i been waiting for a whole year f that sh.
He managed to make Jared’s tone sound like a spider amp trying to recreate dream theater in comparison, not an easy feat
lmao what I was feeling
maybe he is using a spider amp😂😂
The tone that guy has got is incredible.
Was thinking the exact same thing
Jared after this shred war: gives guitar up to awesone dude
Me after this shred war: gives up guitar
😂😂😂
🤥😗
Me after this comment: gives up writing comments.
It is what it is 😭
😂
He deserves that guitar bro,
Not even because of the Shred Wars duel (which you both did great),
He literally covered one of the hardest pieces of music ever made.
I RESPECT HIM FOR BEING ABLE TO PLAY IT.
>He literally covered one of the hardest pieces of music ever made.
in just 4 days!!!
and in four days!
and he won the shred war totally
@@miserirken How do we know it was four days?
@@artistryartistry7239 he upload it four day after the original drop
I can't see anything because the smoke from burning all my guitars has reduced visibility to zero. All I am hearing are the tear drops of my failures.
made ya want to eat your guitars for your keto diet lol. Horns UP!
Or inspiration for your progress
Don't inhale.
I feel you dude
Bruh
All things said, Jared has improved a lot since the start of shred wars.
Immensely👍
So the lesson here when you looose a shred war you gain some thing. When you loose alot of them you gain alot.
Yes But his Tone sucks😆😆
@@Oron354 except not really. Could be better but he aint a producer. Its perfectly acceptable.
@@Oron354 I like his tone
This man is going to go from youtuber to youtuber collecting signature guitars and end up needing to buy a new house for them.
Sorry Jared, he's a friggin machine, he is no mortal man. I'd love to hire him, but this man needs no band. He is the band, all of it. Literally everything he laid down was perfect. Highly technical, highly polished yet shredded, yet also melodic and familiar.
He might be a legit living guitar god the likes of which we haven't seen since the 60's where the guitarist simply breathes and creativity erupts.
Yo, the 60's is kind of a stretch no?? Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, Tosin Abasi, Plini...
What was happening in the 60's that made these guys sound like a joke?
AKK Media I think he has Marty Friedman influence which is tough to begin with. Also yeah Jared easily lost here.
Probably the only thing I'd argue is that maybe the 60s is a bit far, but the rest of this comment is nowhere nearly exaggerated. And yeah, obviously every man needs a band, but it would be HIS band, a la Santana.
He's in a band called turbulence
And drugs.
Normally Jared has all the feels while the others shred hard, but this guy was on a whole other level. 👏 Jared, give him whatever he needs, just make this guy famous! 🙌
@@TeKett daaamm bruh
why is his tone better than yours Jared. unacceptable.
i guess jared mean it that way so we hear how clean he play just a thought
This guy is a guitar Messiah,he came to show us there's a different race of shredders in another universe.
And guess what ,he is Lebanese proud of my country
Bucketheadland
he should easily be in this years shred collab if there’s gonna be one
In the shred collab? He should BE the shred collab.
dannymac63 lowkey, you right 👀
He's from Lebanon i know him lol
Btw jared released a whole ep
Long ago, the guitarists lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Alain Ibrahim covered the entire Shred Collab.
This comment is so underrated

That signature guitar was never really yours, you’ve just been holding it for him.
This was the most one-sided Shred Wars yet lol...dude showed no mercy. Everything he played was melodically beautiful, squeaky clean, and mind-blowingly impressive. I laughed out loud at at least one lick he played every round. What a monster.
Let's be real here, Alain already won the guitar the moment he made a PERFECT cover of the shred collab in FOUR F*CKIN' DAYS!
Honestly Holy shi*!
not perfect, but very close, gotta give the man props
im pretty sure Jared could do it if he had enough time
Slim Starcraft that’s just it.... 4 days for most people isn’t enough time
Dylan Duke i guess thats kinda impressive

Talent and hard work right there 🤘

@@irmaztamal21 uhhh Ichika or any math rocker may disagree lol
@@johnoakesmusicandmore2733 ichika is not a shredder
@@shamerzaihan8638 Well I’m pretty sure his ability would allow him to win, technically anyone who does arpeggios and any kind of dynamic picking could shred and he does both in his style, so your narrow definition makes no sense, just because he doesn’t shred regularly doesn’t mean he can’t lol....
Dude played Tim Henson’s part
That’s enough to just toss your guitar into the fire and quit
I know man , Tims solo in that collab was amazing.
Honestly that's one of the easiest ones in that video
Tim's is probably the easiest in the video he's a good player and all but he doesn't play too hard of stuff
Tim is not the best player but he is a good composer

Jared. The coolest thing about you, is how you find people and put them in the spotlight. It's truly amazing, that you have stayed humble and find other musicians to show us.
Keep being an amazing person, appreciate you as a content creator and more so just as a human on this planet.
Yes he knew he'd get smoked and gave him his 15 minutes just because he deserved it. That's way cool.
100 percent. Totally agree with this statement.
I agree too!!
Buuutt...you didn’t answer Jdaddy’s question.
He didn't even mention his name. How is that purring him on the spotlight?
Dear Jared,
You're extremely entertaining and talented, but I'm afraid he bent you over and gave you his fully loaded foot long. Send him the guitar homie.

Umm... Jared? Figured you'd of responded with a classic 😂
Jared's amazing in his own right!
Going to say Alain? ...won.
@4:43 is one of the best runs I’ve ever heard

this just proves that there's always some guy in his basement somewhere who's an absolute monster. that dude deserves your guitar, Jared
Yup. No matter how good you are, there is always someone better. Unless we're talking Guthrie Govan. Nobody beats Guthrie.

the harmonics part from Alain got me like "oooohhhh yeaaahhhhhh!!!!"
4:46 in case you wanna see it...
In my very untalented opinion I think you are both incredible artists. I can't wait to see this year's Shred Collab. Watching it has become a family tradition we listen to all of them on our way to my sisters place for opening presents. Please make it even more epic this year as she passed away earlier this year and we can keep our tradition strong as we still go and visit her family! We love you guys keep rockin!
You got your self stomped Jared but still you're awesome for putting the spotlight on so many UA-cam guitarists that we would've never heard any other way.💪🏽👏🏽
Yeah gonna have to go with “other guy” in a landslide. His tone and back I track was better too so double yike.
agreed
Agreed.
yes
This is the best example of "Stop! He's already dead!"
Not only were his phrases both shredy and melodic, but his toneeee tho. Like jeez.
The tone was amazing!
wowwww... this Alain's guy is INSANELY GOOD! from lines to feels... also his tone really.. this guy is really really good!
Admit it.
You knew before you uploaded this. 😂😂
Awesome way to put the spotlight on this rarity.
Alain Ibrahim is on another level, so good.
Honestly speaking, his solos sounded more unique. Some type of style that you can't directly pinpoint between The Helix Nebula and Guthrie Govan.
And on the other hand your solos sound like something I've heard in every rock album to date.
No offense but this dudes phrasing and technical ability trumps even my wildest dreams.
I hear some John Petrucci in his playing
definitely man. he's a petrucci and govan fan
Agree
Yeah I think the bends in Jared's kinda brought it down a bit as well as picking through the minor pentatonic scale quickly. Some stuff like the sweep picking also seemed out of place and flashy. Alain really makes things sound unique while making it look effortless and leaving enough room to not wank through. His channel has the potential to be way bigger than it is now.
There's that part at about 6:50 where Jared was a little bit out of time. Just a little bit 😂
Alain, won. Just the technique, the tone, his smooth style, you can’t compete. Send him that guitar
Super cool. Alain has such flow and efficiency. Loved it
Jared, you are an awesome human being. I love how you lift other people up, it's really endearing. Respect brother

I'd give it to him on just his "bendy faces" alone!
I like his picking hand technique, small movements, accurate and clean.
Lesson in economy picking and technique, so smooth and zero wasted movement.
Thats a micheal romeo of symphony x signature picking technique.
Owen Deville I know a guy who is filthy with it, and he said he got an Al Di Meola instructional dvd and had to relearn his whole pick scheme after playing for fifteen years. It’s ludicrous.
It’s just that he got fat hands, jk

He won for sure. it took me 4 days just to learn Tim henson's part.
You must give him your cape and scepter.
Fella sounded really thought out and well put together, Jared sounded like he was improvising and generally just out classed
I don’t know if it’s just because I am so used to Jared’s playing and have become desensitized to how awesome he is, but the Lebanese dude just put on a smoke show! He totally earned that guitar!
I know internet its coming for me
but this guy literally make us all explode to the skies
Jared, sorry my man but I think he’s gonna have to make room for his new signature Guitar!! Oh now the question is who will be next in his list. Will it be Matt K Heafy to send him also a signature guitar as well!?!?!

Tim Alvarez right! 💪
Tim Alvarez I know it
All great playing and great attitude! Keep using your platform to showcase worldwide talent! Great work both of you!

i can see a true guitarist in his tones and to be honest his tones were insanely perfect ... and talking about playing; this dude is the hairy version of andy james !! i vote for him without hesitating just pack that guitar already and send it to him. he really deserved it ! and thank you for the awesome video
His trem picking alone is enough to win. Sounds like you’re getting better too tho. Looks like you lost a guitar bud.
I’m blown away, subscribed immediately to this amazing dude
Bravo gentleman...this dude had more then a few "goosebump" moments for me...those bends and complete control are not to be taken lightly...great feel and finese...humble yet confident with every lick..he loves playing guitar and it shows..with that said Jared can throw down all day long too...I have total respect for people that can play drums, bass, guitar and sing in multiple styles of metal and that alone is what drew me in to watching this channel...hats off to you JD....but ya...maybe give him two guitars haha
Looks like we’re gonna see Jared’s guitar on Ebay real soon
All of 'em probably
Nah it is a keeper !

Mathematically, if Jared's guitar collection is represented by (n), then his guitar collection today is represented as (n-1).

Well the best thing about you Jared, is not giving up , so don't ever give up. Jared’s shred wars were never meant to be a some sort of competition. Rather it was all meant to highlight the other musicians. Such as I also get to know so many kickass guitarists I never heard of them before. I don’t know why so many people don’t like him but this guy deserves more appreciation 👌👌👌
I agree!!
100% agree. I would have never found out about Ichika Nito, and Tim Henson which got me to know Polyphia(they have crazy good tracks btw). Jared Dines is doing a massive work out here.
Jared embodies what musicians should strive toward
Well said man 🤘🏻 Truly a great player
Jared, you held your ground well, brother, and there hasn't been a year, in my opinion, in which you haven't made guitar progress in one way or another. Sure, the other dude won... whatever... lol. Put him on the next collab, too, please. Thanks!
Love the painting behind you at 0:09
Jared, you are phenomenal and one of my favorite guitarists..but this dude is nuts!
I appreciate that you don’t go all out in your shred wars to share the love.
But I genuinely think you could’ve gone all out on this guy and he would have a fair shot. Dudes a hell of a guitarist. His tone is killer, his licks are tasty and in the pocket, his shredding is blistering, and his use of trem to bend chords sounds really cool. I dig his work.
That moment when jared sees this and says "That was my final form"

He won - I'm saying that so he gets the guitar. Both solid efforts though.
Jared has plenty of other guitars. He can afford to give one away to an awesome shredder.
I haven't seen someone cream you as hard in one of these since Rabea in Riff Wars 3. I still go back to watch that even though it gives Fluff views (kidding, no hate here). I think Stevie took it way easy on you for the sake of content and friendship. I don't think you or Herman or really had a 'war', more like a buddy jam which is also cool. You've had some serious competition and I won't knock any of the other several people who have slain you, because honestly, they're all fantastic guitarists and what they did with the format is what it is. I just think we need some more of these heavy hitters that don't hold back or just adhere to one technique the whole time. Perhaps a Shred Wars tournament. No hard feelings, just single round eliminations until only one man or woman is standing. Also, invite some bassists. Davie might say yes and bring some personality to the table. I think Charles Berthoud is one of the greatest stringed instrumentalists alive, period and he'd probably be down. If you want a war, let's have a war: a tournament of champions.
Also this can improve the overall status of good music (as opposed to generic pop) and musicianship
True
Shred Wars tournament would be amazing. I'm sure it would introduce a lot of people to the contestants as well.
Keep shredding like you always do man
