The Merlion is a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish that is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore.
Marina Bay Sands (abbreviation: MBS) is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore. The resort is owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation and at its opening in 2010, it was deemed the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion (US$6.88 billion).

I visited Spore on budget, don't be tricked by this video. You can easily have a nice representable hotel in Chinatown and the Hawker centres, scatttered all over Spore offer very nice Malaysian, Singaporean dishes . Enjoy !!!!
