Just ordered the 4.0 have you had a chance to test the waterproofing on the outer jacket yet if not maybe you can do an update at a later time enjoy your videos and think your puppies are precious Bruno sure loves his sticks
By 4.0 baerskin has succumbed to the tyranny of layers. Added the waterproof outer, now we are back to layers. Does the jacket either a) fit in a nifty jacket carrying pocket in the hoodie or b) require us to now carry a bag to tote the jacket around in for preparedness of raining? Sure looks cool.
@@RedBranchBushcraft thanks. And I ain't sassing you and just lightly sassing them. A good jacket/out layer is hard to find and necessary to find. Especially one that will suit through a wide range of temps/weather. Thanks for the video, brother!
I have just got the version 3 of this hoodie, in XL, it feels real nice, and is a good fit. Bearskin is a little lighter than the helikon tex liberty jacket fleece that I have been wearing the last couple of years. I would say the helikon tex feels a little better quality on the fleece and the zips, But for the price ( Helikon Tex £75 VS Baerskin V3 £54) I got the Baerskin it was a good buy and I am now considering the 3 in 1, If i can get the 20% off voucher to work on the 3 in 1 then it could well end up in the basket. The Baerskin V3 does fit under a CCE french goretex jacket very nicely so will be my winter greenlaning jacket of choice. Cheers for the great content I enjoy watching.
Hey Neil! Thanks for sharing your feedback on the Baerskin hoodie 3.0. It sounds like you're really pleased with the purchase! It's great to hear that it fits nicely under your jacket as well. We hope to see you again in our online store! Cheers, Mike
is it to much to ask for a 7 in 1 type jacket and bib with all the bow hunting, tactical and ice fishing features like fit and camo, water proof and wind proof, zipper under arm and side access, silent fabic, harness port, stretch thumb hole cuffs, hood and gaiter, tactical pocket placement and float tech or do we have to keep buying seperate items? Should fix that imo.
Yesssss wooly, you legend. Jacket looks good and cheap too, I’ve not seen this brand before, don’t like the teal colour but looks good and a good fit on you. Can you help me choose some good outdoor pants that aren’t gonna break the bank like the vidda pro. I’ve looked at the pilgrim pants and race revolution but I’m not entirely convinced on either. Any suggestions? Thanks mate
This jacket came up in a Google search then I found your video. Going back to Amsterdam/Netherlands on the 4th November and don't have a waterproof jacket. Apparently November is their wettest month. Thinking about this jacket but wondering if it would be warm enough. Last year i just wore a military style coat. Everyone recommends wearing layers in Amsterdam that time of year. Was quite wet last November. Average daytime temperatures are supposedly around 9c 10c
I was waiting for you to drop the 4.0 video I had seen that you were on the official 4.0 commercial that bearskin dropped so I figured judging by your past videos with baerskin that you would have dropped the 4.0 review i enjoy your content thanks for another great one One question I have is the 4.0 a little longer in length than the 3.0
Hey @luish9711, thanks for your interest in our products. To answer your question, the new and improved version has the same length as our previous version. I hope this helps! Cheers, Mike
They look the doggies danglers, don't they. I have been seeing a lot of their adverts on the Toob lately and I feel I am getting reeled in ready for a purchase ♥
complete scam folkd. just really clever and consistent marketing. There are many other manufacturers that make better gear for less money. Even the Solognac stuff from Decathlon is much better and harder wearing.
1st thing, very glad they have sorted and taken the name off the back. And the price is good too
Yeah, it's better than the last one, better cuffs and hood
Looks great but wondering if my hoodie amd waterproof i ordered will ever turn up been waiting a month now . 🤔
Drop them an email
You obviously get these jackets for free and you’re just misleading consumers by saying it’s a great jacket.
Nothing wrong with it so far , how is it misleading,

I have 4.0 fleece jack, and the 2.0 rain jacket can I zip them together as well?
Does the rain jacket have the internal zips ?
What size are they both?
Medium
It's actually £139.95 for them both😁
Are you sure
@@RedBranchBushcraft yea, just checked, £79 for the fleece, still considering getting them though, for forest camps lol
@markbailey15 the colour is great too

Why is it a 3 in 1 jacket and not a 2 in 1?
Waterproof is one, fleece is two, waterproof and fleece combined is three I think

It's very handy as it's modular,
An essential item for every man who lives in a semi detached
You said it
How much is the cost of the 4.0 in US dollars thanks
About 100 bucks I think, click the link in the description
All jackets are in medium sizes, yes? What’s your height?
Yes, I'm 5 foot 7 inches
Oh yus woolly that looks really good
It's pretty decent
Wally, what's your height and weight if you don't mind me asking? I'm asking so I know what size to order
I'm 5 foot 7 inches, and about 11 stone , this is the medium but I'd say a small would fit me too
@RedBranchBushcraft appreciate it. Gotta break stone down to lbs now (america), lol. Thanks again

Liked the grey fleece. I feel a viewer giveaway coming on…

Looks great. I want to order one but unsure in sizes, what height and weight are you if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks

Thanks very much that’s really helpful.

@@RedBranchBushcraftwe have the same height. I will go for the medium then.

Looks like another boil in the bag garment. I’ll stick with wool.
It's hard to beat a bit of wool
Looking good - i admit i'm tempted - prices are bit on the higher range, but.... (no little 20%-discount-code for subscribers, is there? ;)
I'll ask
If I were reviewing this hoodie I wouldn't wear a hoodie under it , just saying.
Cheers buddy
I expected him to remove his inner hoodie before trying on the baerskin apparel too
How would it affect the video?
Do they come in "robust man" sizes??? And look a little short, should have been longer.
Fits grand for me
Not for pigs, sorry.
All are great looking, I like the green best me thinks, and I love modular jackets in all things, outdoor, motorsports, etc.

You're the commercial guy! Way to go for promoting toxic masculinity
Lol, how am I promoting toxic masculinity by reviewing a fleece jacket ?
Their commercials definitely target male insecurities.
