My dad bought it for me for my birthday and I like it so much. This thermal monocular can see through the daylight and darkness, even provide clear thermal images in inclement weather. I’m satisfied with its high quality.
The certified detection distance is 1340m Of course its not easy to see stuff from that distance but as you saw in this video 155m is like in front of you. you can recognize a if its a human even if its a dog. so a deer to be recognized i think even 250m or more is OK

The T2Pro is not really good indoor for small space. as you can see it can do well with short circuit detection but if you are in a small space trying to assess like thermal isolation of the room that wont be a good idea. This model shines outdoor. the best 256x192 camera at the moment. So if you need only occasional outdoor only and you want it indoor work than T2L or T2S+ which you can get trough me with the best price.
@@darrenm7964 oh you mean that. Both have that with the Xinfrared (fromerly "search") app. and even holds zero. the same app works with both T3 and T2Pro. You can turn on and off the (reticule) crosshair at will.

Sure. its only like 18grams, no moving part so that G-force from a recoil should be no problem.

t2s+ has wide angle, which is better indoor, but worse at long range focusing.

Just a different lens. but can be seen as upgrade cause it results clearer image.
in terms of purpose it look like upgrade, if you need to find something at long range.
