I run the Gaelic Bar in Carrigtwohill. On Saturday 9th April, Tim O Riordan played at my bar and sang his song Come Up To Gurrane Lizzy Windsor, TWICE. The bar was full of regulars Sat night and as always a great nite was had when the Gas men came to town. Brilliant Song. Well loved by the staff and customers of the Gaelic Bar Carrigtowhil. Cant wait to have Tim down again to give us another rendition of Come up to Gurrane Lizzy Windsor!!!! JC
Nice for the queen to call into Ireland on the way to Cork. C'mon the rebels! Great Song, Love Murphys/beamish/clove rocks/spiced beef/drisheen/tanora/road bowling/cork dry gin/jameson/paddys/powers/half days in school from the lord mayor? have to give me a thumbs up!
Come up to Gurrane Lizzie Saxe Coburg Gotha wouldn't quite ring the same, so just as well for the WW1 convenient name change then, lol. Great song and vid by the way!
@daz1200 doesn't matter if the photos were manipulated. Unless the photographers waived their rights you should ask their permission to use the photos and I'm quite sure they'd want to be recognised as contributing to this video.
I am in stiches here. The Island of Newfoundland has your video in the top ten. Way to go lad!
Best song I've heard in a long time! Great mix of humour and history. Love it.
