She was my 1st grade music teacher. I remember crying when she told us she was leaving. Have been a huge fan of everything she's done. Great choice of guest Kevin!
Fenton kid? My sister went to Kellison at that time, and my mom was the secretary.
She had to be the hottest teacher ever?????
@@scottthompson4193 She was, and my first crush.
@@tmcd9262 I'm sure your mom seen me in the principles office many times 😒
@@shaunhirtz3911 That had to be pretty amazing Shaun, watching one of your teachers become famous...
Holy crap she's 60 years old. Looks amazing and still sounds great btw
60 years Young
My favorite radio station went off the air, and I was bummed, but a minute later it's replacement came on the air with zero fanfare. "All I Wanna Do" began playing, and it was the first time most folks in Los Angeles ever got to hear Sheryl Crow. I thought, "Well, maybe I have a new favorite radio station." If I'd of known that Sheryl was my age, I would of realized that my generation had just taken the reins.
@@lespritdelescalier4858 we'll see how you do after partying with the Rolling Stones for 40 years. Lol.
I agree. She looks no more than 47 or 50. She is Great! Always smiling, generous, and has a Super super voice!
I'm 36 and she looks better than 80% of the people I graduated HS with. lol.
she is the best. when I was in the army she came to Bosnia to see us. she was at the peak of her career and didn't need to take an out-of-the-way USO tour. thank you it meant a lot to us.
Her voice is part of the 1990’s and those were some of the best years of my life. So glad Sheryl is happy and still writing great music.
it is amazing that both Kevin and Sheryl
prove everyone has the same life when you get to your 60's
Sheryl is simply awesome. Have loved her and her music since she went solo after being Michael Jackson's back-up singer on his tour, and I had no idea she was a teacher before hitting the road as a singer - so cool! Great interview, Kevin, thank you!
I heard it was the other way around i.e. Michael being
Sheryl's backup. Michael's big break!
jeepers, 60 is the new 32. Sheryl Crow looks amazing
It's "wooo, what a hike" because of Sheryl 😂😍
Sheryl, 60 is your prime. Joni. Bob. Keith & Mick. Keep writing. Kevin, thank you.
Agreed, Tony!!!
Nice hike, loved the colourful trees this time of the year! Sheryl Crow is such a awesome person!
Kevin you lucky bastard.
Kevin, these hiking interviews are just solid infotainment. You do such a great job asking questions, listening and following up. Thank you so much for getting back out on the trails.
PBD is going to call you to talk about copyright infringement. (Infotainment) 😉
I'm so happy you brought Hiking with Kevin back!!!! Great show. Feels like I was just on a hike with you but minus the exercise.
Two of the most humble people who are celebrated publicly ❤️ this is wonderful.
That looks like the best day ever for a hike with the leaves and overcast cloudy skies
An absolutely wonderful hike with Sir Nealon and the fantastic Sheryl Crow, who happens to be a favorite of mine! Thank you both for all the joy and inspiration you have given to us all! ❤️
Great hike with Sheryl crow.
Would have been great to have heard more about what she thought was great and also what she thought was terrifying about being her age right now.
Heavy on the Sir
♥️ this what a hike this must of been. ☺️
I loved the part of the discussion about pill boxes and forgetfulness.
Sheryl is not only extremally talented, and beautiful, but also one of the classiest people in the industry. We need more people like her.
Awesome hike with two great, great people.
That was a lot of fun. Glad I joined the 2 of you. Beautiful scenery. Happy Thanksgiving. 💕
I feel like many would love it if she released a new album 👍✌️✌️
Radnor Lake!!! A Nashville icon!!! I used to walk the trails 4 times a week when I lived there💖💖💖💖
I’m jealous! I’d love to hike with either or both of you!
I've seen Sheryl Crow a few times over the years...she's FANtastic professionally and personally! Thanks Sheryl..this Canadian loves ya! Cheers, Kevin!
I'm a 68 year old American man living in Des Moines, Iowa. Singer/Songwriter is one of the things I've done. In the early 1990s I was the 'House Band' at a downtown bistro called JAVA JOES. I played a two hour lunch shift, then came back for a two hour Happy Hour. Cheryl Crow had played there! Obviously, before she got famous.
It made me happy to play on the same stage that she had.
'' _Sheryl_ ''
Sheryl... you look amazing. Love so many of your songs.
So glad your hikes are back, Kevin.
Sheryl is still a rock star. Her songs will live on forever. Look at Joni Mitchell coming out at Newport Music Festival and woke everyone in person, On You tube, Twitter. Facebook. You are the same no matter what age. Your fabulous and loved.
I think Joni is from Canada, not Connecticut though
@@shoominati23 I refer to a music concert she just appeared at in Newport. It was amazing to she her on stage and singing the best she could . The fans fell out of their seat and gave Joni a huge standing ovation.
@@shoominati23 She was at Newport Music Festival. Not Hartford. Sorry
She didn't really play the kind of music I listen to, but even I could appreciate her talent, and I do think she has a beautiful voice.
Check out the video of her and her band with Prince sitting in on guitar in the 90s.. might change your mind about her music.
But all in all.. cheers mate
@@GilbertsGrapes what's the video called?

I worked in rock & metal for many years & have a copy of Sheryl’s self-titled album that she very kindly signed for me. She’s super cool & it’s nice to see that she’s so likeable.
Easily my favorite episode of Hiking with Kevin. It's the first episode where I felt like "this a person I want to go on a hike with". I'm glad Sheryl was able to find peace after a hugely successful career before getting chewed up and spat out by the entertainment industry.
Great interview...really enjoyed it...
Man, love the Fall background. Gorgeous.
She sure picked a beautiful place to live.another great show Kevin
I met Sheryl Crow when she played at the Louisville Palace in the 90s, the Wallflowers opened the show, I have great story to tell about how I washout invited to the green room but it would take too long, she's an incredible artist and I hope she released some new music. She's a great songwriter!
Glad you are back to hiking, Kevin! thanks to you and your original "hiking with Kevin" series it helped me survive the Covid shut down year(s). Almost two years of closed businesses and shortened business hours,....I thought I would lose my mind. Not seeing people on the streets, unable to communicate with people as we all hid under our masks. As a retired person, I loved going to coffee houses and hanging out, striking up conversations with friendly strangers, is what kept me sane. Then Covid disrupted everything.
And it was All a Lie.
@@stevestreet2825 , no it wasn’t .
Old School SNL & and always lovely Ms Crow , one of my favorite clients, so easy to talk to… yes we are all over 60 now… keep up the great hikes 👍💪🙏🥂
Love you Cheryl! Love your songs with Mavis and Bonnie!! Keep on rocking!
Today is my birthday....... this video was a nice gift, truly enjoyed it!
Was impressed with her work, sorry she has not been able to put out more that she likes yet.. and that hiking trail looks amazing!! welcome back Kevin!
I love the show.
I love hiking with the guest and I liked meeting Sheryl Crow on this hike.
The trail, Sheryl, Kevin, and the birds chirping in the background, combined with a shot of this gorgeous path illuminated by the sun, and a peripheral view of the beautiful river - what more could one ask for?
How cool. Sheryl hiking with Kevin on my favorite trail to hike on!
Good interview!!! Great view and a great hike
Heaps of adoration on this remarkable woman. We love you Sheryl. Great interview. Thanks a cosmic ton.
I've had a crush on this woman for over 20 years. First video I saw I realized she was perfect. 😍
Great interview!
All I wanna do…. is go Hiking with Kevin
So glad you were at Lake Radnor. Also thrilled you were here with Sheryl Crow! I know you must have froze, though!
Great interview! Love those Tennessee views!
I was in a music theory class at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and Sheryl Crow was in the class, along with my future ex-wife. Small world. The class was for music majors, and I was not a major. So, it was a big mistake as far as my grade went. Of course, I didn't know who Sheryl Crow was at the time, as she was not famous, yet; but I do remember what she looked like. She did have long curly or wavy hair. I'm a fan. I once saw her perform years later at the University of Missouri, and her singing voice is much more amazing live than it already is on her recordings.
Great hike! Good Q&A. I did not follow her dating schedule back then. Can't believe she's 60.
This was a great one. She is such a sweet and humble person. Great hike and conversation!
Been watching from the first hike, so glad your back!
I love her laugh. Genuine.
What a gorgeous spot. Sheryl is so down to earth and conversational, I really like interviews with her.
Glad to see a new show Kevin. Keep them coming I enjoy watching... Gil from Texas
missed you and these walk and talks Kevin! ❤
Damn, rad walk in the woods. Cheers you two!
Thank you! Love hiking with you Kevin, especially todays hike with Cheryl.🇨🇦❤️
Awesome chemistry between you two.
Sheryl, I'm 67 this yr and I marvel at fast I arrived here at nearly 70..... so what's the point of NOT sharing your inspiration & rhythm & soul with us.... still a fan and loved the interaction you & Kevin shared---Ralph.
GREAT hike. Chemistry. Love it.
What a great interview. The best kind…where nothing pretentious occurs because you’re surrounded by cameras, sound people and a leering audience. (Well, except for us UA-cam junkies.)
Thanks to you, Ms. Crow and especially Kevin who just earned a subscriber.
My favorite thing to listen to when I'm hiking!
What a beautiful, talented and down to Earth person. Love her music and vibe in general. Great hike, looking forward to the next one.
Loooooove you Kevin! So glad to see you out huffing and puffing out on the trail!!
Sheryl is a beautiful person.
Nice to see this series revived. Thanks 👍
I remember listening to “Maybe Angels” in my truck with my dad in like 1997 (I was 19) and when Cheryl sang “they don’t know nothin’ ‘bout saving me”, my dad lost his religious shit and freaked out. 😂🤣 I became agnostic about 15 years later, so… thanks, Cheryl! 🤠
And Kevin, I think I was in junior high school when you were making me laugh on SNL, so thanks for all the weekend updates. I like the new channel.
Interesting that's a proud moment for you.
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power that absolutely should be a proud pivotal moment for her! Letting go of lies and mythology
@@hashberry111 "lies and mythology" as if you have all the answers. And I don't think Caleb is a "her."
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power I’m proud of the day I stopped believing the lies too. Religion is the dumbest thing humans ever invented. And we made bombs

I'm the same age as Sheryl, I enjoyed listening to the two of you, just wish I could remember it!
This series is great. I love Sheryl Crow and had never seen this episode. Awesome interview Kevin!
Hey Kevin!! "We're here to pump you up!!"... Great video hiking with Sheryl Crow. I absolutely love Sheryl Crow!!!
These two make me think that I could be famous too, only because they are so down to earth. I loved this. Sheryl is one of my favorites, so talented and who has worked with so many famous people in any lifetime. Kevin, thanks for this video.
Cheryl is great always so nice; we miss you in Austin! Good to see Ya'll!
Since it's officially Thanksgiving where I'm at I'll just say I'm thankful for the return of HWK. This was another great one!
Cruising UA-cam and found this. Pure gold. I have lived all over the world and moved back to Tennessee to retire. Maybe I will run into you on a trail some day.
Always loved her music and admired what I knew of her life but, wow, what a charming woman! One of those people I’d definitely like to have a beer with and just talk. Great hike, Kevin.
I was just listening to "If it Makes You Happy" last week and here she is in person, thanks Kevin!
Warm vibes, human affirmation and laughs too. Thank you, Kevin. Thank you, Sheryl.
I love these videos and loved when Kevin mentioned Sheryl was from “missouree” and she gently whispered “missouruh.” I’ve heard that we have the face we deserve at 50 and these two have the beautiful faces they deserve at 60!
Didn’t know about her being a teacher. Been listening to her since she started. She’s an amazing artist and man what a career. Nice person too!
Thanks for watching ✅
You won🎁..
Ii really love these videos. So different than anything else I see. Awesome job Kevin. Hope you'll do many more. And, oh my God! Sheryl is 60?? Unbelievable. I think she looks even better now than she did in the 90's, if that's possible.
Love Sheryl Crow and that you were at the beautiful Radnor Lake State Park in Nashville. Keep up the great interviews!
Always love these hikes Kevin. Thanks.
Love Sheryl. I learned how to play guitar 3 years ago partly because of her and I wish I could play a song with her band! I love playing If it Makes You Happy...John from MI
You can feel it. The flow is circular. Circular.
Kevin Nealon. Just a major part of SNL’s ultimate all star lineup.
Great hike, good chat, glad you are back.
I love hiking loops, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SC is the coolest. She's so chill. Talented too
Kevin, This thanksgiving I'm very grateful for all of your wonderful content through the years. Your lines from Happy Gilmore still I feel are some of the greatest of all time! I saw you in Cleveland recently and when you asked for suggestions from the audience, I asked to hear about Norm as he had just passed and you delivered. You're a legend and I look forward to seeing as much as you can give us in the future👍
Thank you, Kevin. These are so great.
Sheryl, your experience of accidentally leaving your car running speaks volumes about the adaptability of our brains, especially as we transition to new technologies like electric cars. Our minds are incredibly skilled at filtering out 'background noise,' allowing us to overlook things like the absence of a traditional engine sound. This incident highlights the remarkable ability of the human brain to adjust to new norms. It's a reminder of how specific cues become ingrained in us over time, and how changing those cues requires our brains to adapt once again. I'd venture to say that someone who has driven gas vehicles their whole life might be less likely to make this oversight simply because they're attuned to the cues associated with starting and stopping an engine. It's a fascinating glimpse into the elasticity and adaptability of our cognitive processes.

Wonderful interview!WalkINBeauty
Great interview Kevin and glad you've re-started your hikes - we missed you. I love Sheryl, great singer, performer, song writer and a standup kind of person. Thanks
Noooo, Sheryl... Make the record! Spotify and other streaming services are the game changer. You WILL get heard! I'm 51 years old and I never listen to the radio anymore. Why would I? Why listen to gabby DJ s who love to hear their own voices and commercials? With Spotify I can listen to any genre based on my mood. And I would listen to any new music you put out there in a heartbeat on repeat! Do it. ❤️🎵🎸
Hey !! This is a good idea - great getting outdoors, the fall leaves were gorgeous ! Sheryl Crow is so down to earth and loved the stories. Big FAN here.
I just stumbled on this and couldn't be happier that I did. I love how people are just walking by and really have no idea who they are passing.
I LOVE Sheryl Crow. She's an amazing singer/songwriter. Beautiful truth and perfect melody. What a gift. Thanks for having her as a guest!
