- “I told my doctor, ‘Just give me three months’ ... So, three months came, and the scan looked the same. ‘OK, it didn't get worse.’ ... Fast-forward a year and a half. It got smaller.”
Several years after undergoing massive surgeries to treat stage two breast cancer, Dayana was confronted with an even more discouraging diagnosis. The cancer had returned - and had metastasized. Her doctors told her there was nothing they could do. Dayana was just 44, with two little girls at home. She was determined not to give up.
After “You Are the Placebo” introduced her to Dr Joe’s work, Dayana attended her first Week Long Advanced Retreat - but found herself struggling with doubt and fear. Leaving the event one day, she went to her room to gather her thoughts - and asked for a sign that she was on the right path. At that moment, she pulled the curtains back - just in time to see the word “TRUST” in skywriting outside her window.
In the months following the retreat, Dayana tuned in to her body - and trusted what it was telling her. She began to see signs of healing. She gradually stopped chemotherapy and slowed down her follow-up appointments. At first, her doctors were discouraging. Then, they were baffled. Against all odds, her scans improved - until, finally, there was no sign of cancer at all. Dayana left her doctors with a copy of “You Are the Placebo” - and a lot to think about.

It takes so much courage to tell your doctor "just wait." I've done that before when I broke my arm (badly) and my doc looked at me like I was a nutter. But I was able to avoid surgery and he looked at me and said: "okay, you win." I said back to him, "we both win." 💪

I have stage 4 advanced stage cancer. I’ve been reading Becoming Supernatural and I really believe I can heal from this. But I get doubts sometimes. That I might not make it. Im only 25. I’m going to keep doing the meditations no matter what. I’m going to overcome the fear and doubt and trust in myself and the process.

Why do you think you can't? There's no way you can't! God is with you. There are so many people you don't know praying for you. Start fasting 16-18 hours. Stop sugar oil wheat rice. Meditate. I am pretty much in the same scenario. Was diagnosed with HER2+ stage IIb, grade III breast cancer. I underwent double mastectomy but refused chemo because I didn't want doctors to put poison in my body. Almost 3 years later, it came back, same spot same grade. This ttime my doctors told me I was done for. Should I accept chemo and radiation I might have a small chance to survive but I must have a second surgery immediately. I told him no and that I would take my chance. Meditation was not new to me but I decided to take it more seriously. It has been over a year. The tumor hasn't disappeared but at least I am still kicking around. I can't afford to attend an event but I will keep meditating and believing I can kick this. I am looking forward to my turn to tell my story.

I am thrilled for her healing and testimony...and at the same time I would love to have heard a lot more about what her meditation practice looked like during those months and months. How long each day, any times of giving up and going back to it, what it felt like to do the meditations daily...how did her life change/or what did she feel as she went along doing the meditations, etc.

I have been doing the work for about five months now, but I have not been able to go into the darkness and connect to the field. I have not had any mystical experiences. I had a lot of hope, but now I am tired. I am going to take a break for a while.
I have not neither! But after having meditated for 1,5 year I healed myself from stomach issues. It works ! You just need keep going!
If you can't go into the darkness of space then maybe go on with visualization of your positive outcome... dont stop! Change the way you do it... try to feel positive emotions as much as you can
How do you know you haven't connected to the field? Maybe you do connect but your senses are not strong enough to detect it. It's still working even if you think it's not.
You might also try to find Reiki master to help you open up your channels for you to get the energy flowing. Don't give up!
I started Dec 2020. I’m still sick, no crazy experiences and I don’t give up. I have my moments though! This is the part where belief and faith come in. You can do it! Please keep going. ❤

Thank you for sharing!! I'm currently struggling with not feeling the emotions during my meditations and having doubts and I keep telling myself that if others can do it, I can as well.
I've been practicing the BOTEC ones for 3 months now and so far I could feel the joy and gratitude, had tears of gratitude, however something has changed in the last 3 days and I'm practicing 2-3 times a day. I feel sort of empty when it comes to the portion of the blessing in the meditations and I don't force it, just acknowledge it that it's not there at the moment and I hope I can generate them. I don't know what happened. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes I experienced the same had great meditations and felt really elevated emotions and then suddenly it went all flat. But I knew I just had to keep going. It lasted about a couple of months but now I can feel those amazing feelings again. As Dr Joe says you just have to keep going ❤️

In 2022 I had that from a Reumatologist. There is not medication for this disease. The only thing is Stem cell transplant...it could help.

Hello, could you provide evidence of what really happened, such as "before and after" test results, your full name, the names of the professionals who attended you at the hospital, in short, something that confirms what you are claiming?
I keep hearing him say “advanced” meditators. How is this defined in the study. What determines that the person is an advanced. Something I’ve wondered for awhile now just wanted to ask it here
Great question! They should definitely define it for people. I think the studies are done at a Advanced Weeklong Retreat so i think it means the blood of 84% of people after a 7 day advanced weeklong retreat

Some drs. can def. invoke fear. My sitch isn't as morbid but I am working on curing my deviated septum which a dr. botched. I have no cartilage in my nose and my nasal airways are sooo small. My sleep test indicated that I stop breathing 91x an hour which is severe. When the dr. told me that Reggie White (athlete) at age 40 ish died of sleep apenea I panicked. I didn't tell anyone not even my husband bc I didn't want to create more fear. So I have a CPAP that I hate to use but LOVE that I have this to help me breathe. I am on my 7th day of meditating. Sometimes I can reach theta but not always. Everyday I thank God for my healing as well as all my abundance in my life. Thanks for allowing me to post my story. God Bless!

I have a *kind of* similar story, but totally different circumstances. I've had a breast disease since 15 (I'm 34 now) and I had to have some lumps removed last year that were suspicious. I told the surgeon, well - go ahead and lift the breasts and reduce them a bit so when the lumps form and the breasts inflame/stretch/grow temporarily, it will have less of an effect on my neck, back, pain levels, etc.
Needless to say, I did not understand the full procedure the doctor was going to do, and I was botched - twice.
I am now missing parts of both of my aerolas, there are scars all over my breasts, the fibrocystic breast disease has calmed down a bit and no more suspicious lumps, thank goodness! But...I need to have a THIRD surgery. Which is incredibly risky, the doctors told me, not on a fatal level, but risky for developing necrosis and actually losing both of my aerolas, and in worst case, both of my breasts because the chances of infection are so high. But I feel so uncomfortable in my body that I really need to have this done. I have permanent Frankenstein breasts, all from trying to get suspicious lumps removed.
I'm like - how on earth did all of this happen? Like - honestly what the hell? This was supposed to be simple!
My surgery is scheduled for January 2025 and I'm terrified.
I want to shift my mindset, and work on the meditations, and prepare my mind and body for ultimate healing.
May I ask what meditations you are finding most helpful? I'm not sure where to begin. It's been a few years since I dove into Dr. Joe's work!
