These guys kick ass. Their 'Rockin in the Fillmore" album is one of the best albums ever. My favorite songs by HP are "I Wonder" from the Smokin' album, and "Road Runner" from the Eat It album. Enjoy some pie.
I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Pie in 1972 (they opened of Black Sabbath) at the University of Akron, and again in downtown Cleveland in May 1973 (Black Oak Arkansas opened the show for them)... excellent shows each time ... Pie was a sensational live band.
Sorry folks byr Ray Charles only did a cover version of this song. The original was written and performed bu the rock and soul duo named ASHFORD AND SIMPSON. Now you and everybody else knows the truth.
The chainsaw style guitar and vocals are Steve Marriot (of Small Faces). The soaring guitar solos and fills are Peter Frampton. Steve even let him on occasion 😆
Everyone assumes this doctor is a medical doctor........it could be a psychiatrist and sometimes it only takes one person to bring you back to that happy state. Without pills.
This guy was real deal! How good was he!Well Robert Plant as a kid would follow Steve Marriott with Small Faces at that time to concerts!Listen to the Small Faces album song You Need Loving and you hear Whole lotta Loving! In fact Jimmy Page wanted him as the front man for Led Zeppelin but Steve’s gangster manager apparently told Page you can’t play guitar without fingers! The zeppelin line up would of been Marriott lead vocals guitar Jimmy Page lead guitar Keith Moon drums and John ethwhistle both of Who!!!Now just imagine them together! Not only would you have powerful vocals but extra added guitar!!I think Steve Marriott all time best male vocalist !Would of loved to seen him do a duet with Janis Joplin!
Possibly the most underrated vocalists of all time. Steve Marriott is just brilliant (RIP)
Marriott may have been a lot of things not all of them great, but he was never underrated as a vocalist.
HUMBLE Pie was a band overloaded with talant !!!!!!!!!!!
THEY WERE ALL NATUREL BORN PERFORMERS IN EVERY WAY !!!!!!!!!!!
GREETINGS FROM HOLLAND.

One of my top 3 Rock bands of the 70's. Steve Marriot, Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley, and Jerry Shirley! Awsome live band!!
Dont call me Shirley.
The kids now will never no what they missed sad
Peter Frampton is on this album playing lead at 17 years old . With great musicians who said come on in . Amazing
Steve Marriott best singer and Front man ever.

Everyone wanted Marriot - Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath

Steve Marriot singer is a legend originally Small Faces then Humble Pie. Unfortunately Steve died in a house fire.
I don't need no doctor neither. Just some Humble Pie and I'm good.
That’s Peter Frampton on lead guitar
12 bar blues riff with no empty space . The whole band seems to know this . Just fill it . From a player of 40 years.
Everyone assumes this doctor is a medical doctor........it could be a psychiatrist and sometimes it only takes one person to bring you back to that happy state. Without pills.
He does not require medical attention.
That is the fabulous Mr Peter Frampton on
Guitar

Did you ever talk about the band you listened too?
How many know this is a Ray Charles Song
Yep. Also in the 70s there was a nice country/blues version done by The New Riders of the Purple Sage.

A version of that band may be together, but lead singer Steve Marriott has passed away.
Don't hate on me because I lived through every minute of the '70s bro
