    Iceland is also very beautiful . Similar to the Faroes, but much more city like, but that is probably due to the fact that they are manyyyy more people in Iceland. The languages are some what similar , but not to the extreme . They are both nice:) Personally, the Faroe Islands is prettier, but I like the Icelandic language a little bit more , I like their accents :p

    I always wonder what motivates people to live in these out of the way and remote areas: be it in the frigid areas, the islands 1,000 miles away from "civilisation" or the balmy tropical islands. Haven't found it yet on the internet.

    from watching these kinds of youtube videos... wool (and products) and salmon farms seem to be predominant industries but my guess is that you will have other occupations like police, teachers, ferrymen, fishermen, farmers etc.

    Why island people not plant trees to make the island lash green and more oxygenate .

    • @FlemingYachts
      @FlemingYachts  6 років тому +1

      Two reasons: The main one being that in all these northern places the wind just blows the trees away. The seond is that sheep eat the young shoots before the wind has time to blow them away.

      Driss Green There has been 2 attempts of getting a mosque built on faroe islands, but they were denied, and they weren't angry for being denied from building a mosque, they just went on with their lives, and they live fine without a mosque, and they haven't been deported nor attacked for having another religion than christanity.

    The Amazing Wild Nature] IMPORTANT! we must SHARE it to see people what is really happening in the world ... REAL STORY: Around 150 pilot whales were hacked to death in The Faroe Islands (Europe). They were chased into a bay by men in boats where hundreds of people waited with hooks and knives and attacked them, babies were killed plus pregnant whales had their unborn babies cut out of them.
