Justin's rockin' the Univox Lucy (or is it the real Ampeg Dan Armstrong? can't tell) + Hi-Flier and a Marshall head + cab. Sounds great, but I miss the feedback. Vern kept the Sunn + Kustom combo.
@@user-bv9cr9zp4zIn terms of tone it’s hard to say. A part of me thinks he never even used pedals often. When songs kick into high gear you never see him hitting a pedal. Prob because of the built in distortion on the Sunn amps. But he def used an echoplex and other delay floor pedals. At most I think he might’ve used an mxr micro boost and an LPB-2 to turn up the noise a bit in certain songs. But I think it mostly comes from the intensity in his picking dynamics. He hits hard enough and he can get the amp to break up and overdrive
