same unexpected detour myself Roque! Now pursuing the career I most wanted to do. Just don't forget to be surrounded by right people who will guide you and be there with you when it becomes hard and unbearable. :D See you at the finish line doc.
Don't let that be the only thing that stops you from pursuing that DVM! As mentioned in the video, there are various ways to get in and the only time you will actually fail is when you quit :) best of luck on your journey!
Hi, I have completed my undergraduate in Zoology honours (3years) and I will be perusing Masters in Marine Biology for the next two years. Will I be able to apply for DVM in UPLB? I mean do I have to study for 6 years or can I just do 4 years as I have already completed pre-vet
Hey! They will most likely accredit some of your general science subjects like basic chemistry up to biochem; however you will likely have to do 5/6yrs here due to the prerequisite flow of our program. You’ll likely be able to finish in 5 but it will be full load every semester and no summers off. Hope I was able to help! :)
Yes it is! There are no limitations to applying as as second degree student :) just make sure that you have an adequate background/experience to increase your chances of getting accepted. Best of luck!
Depende po sa bansa :) some countries recognize the VMED license of the PH while others, like US, AUS, UK, requires an additional licensure exam to practice there
glad i found this video ☺️
You're welcome! I hope it helps you out 😊
