MCM sideboards and bedside tables and chairs are all the rage right now where I live. But mostly in natural finishes as close to original as possible. I can barely afford items that come on the market in bad condition so to see them going into the tip is a bit shocking. So nice to see items being salvaged
i saw a sideboard on Facebook posted by someone who thinks everything should be painted black or grey. one of those that don't know the difference between refurbish, restore, destroy. i recognized the sideboard, but I don't remember the designer/manufacturer of it. as it was, it was worth $3000. she asked for suggestions. i suggested what she should do if a sander, stripper or paint touches it. she blocked me.
Why is so much reusable stuff thrown away over there? I would have sanded that sideboard down and re-stained it. It looked good, but too busy for my taste. The light I loved! Please people sell your items or take them to a Goodwill or whatever is over there!!
I'm wondering who would pay 150 for that chair...she could have done better, but I don't think she really has much in the way of designing/redecorating skills. Sorry to be blunt, but most of what she creates looks juvenile.
Daniel YOU are a Genius !!! How superb looking you made the sideboard ,so keen and exquisite ! Very fine job !!!!
The lamp was everything!😍🤩❤ Dan is so very, very talented! He is awesome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🫶🏾
The chair hit Rock Botten! The lamp became a WOW!!! The sideboard an extra WOW!!!!!!

I've always enjoyed Daniel's creations.---Sorry Sarah, that one didn't float my boat.---Becks & Dave should make more of those lamps!
Lloyd loom chairs…interesting story about their invention. They were The Rage.

The wheelbarrow being thrown in! Is Always in demand as a lovely plant container!
Wow! That lamp! Wow! That sideboard! Wow!
Some great ideas to use there - I'm inspired by the sideboard...
Sideboard = Stunning 🤩
I think Becks is absolutely adorable!
I love how people have concerns about what happens to things they were literally throwing away!
I love the sideboard
That chair is brutal😅
One way to put it! Not my taste, but glad somebody liked it enough to buy it.
The buyer may have bought it to have it reupholstered into an elegant and classic upgrade.
Sorry Sarah, the chair would’ve looked better spray painted.
With that rotten old fabrics she used won't stand up to any wear and tear. I panicked when the man sat on it.😮😮❤❤❤❤
I would have painted it black with a leather seat pillow.
Sara's 'creation' remained looking like garbage but the other creations were amazing
....as usual...
Some of the artists don’t leave much room for profit.
I loved the lamp and the sideboard turn out amazing and you sold it very cheap. I think was worth more than £ 1500,00 . Luck the couple who bought it.

I love this show, As an American I am trying to understand where she obtains these items- the tift?
The Tip… a place to sort and recycle junk.
The equivalent to "the dump".
Municipal recycling Center
Too bad you used rotten fabrics on the chair. Won't stand up to the wear and tear 😢😢 ❤❤❤❤
Dude, you were going to throw them in the trash. You kind of lost your right to say you don't want them to have flowers on them.
Right? That's like donating a car and then restricting the right of the new owner to change the car to a new color.
❤❤❤exactly
All that carpet... Gone. 😢😢😢
Can't believe that frayed, tatty looking chair sold. Looked worse after the redo. Nice job on the sideboard and the lamp was clunky, but interesting.

The Sideboard was Magnificent.
Sarah did not do the chair any favours - the degraded flimsy Union Jack bit was the worst addition
Sideboard looked good but yikes, the renovation cost! Light somewhat impractical.
Oooooh no Sarah,
Not sure what to say about that lamp, doesn't seem very practical, Becks has a weird vision
Sarah Sarah Sarah, aren't you lucky someone liked that chair, 🤦♂️ it looked better at the tip
I feel as though green and pink are way over used.
