I've had many really good Motorola phones 1. The moto g100 it had the 870 from Snapdragon which was basically an overclocked 865 chip. The Motorola think phone 😊 another flagship

Oh my GOSH, same here! I dont wanna feel dizzy, eyes burning and the head pressure. Yuck! All everyone talks about is how things "look" rather than how they "feel".
The Moto G Power 2023 was actually really good in my opinion. The mediatek processor was nice. I heard we have nfc here though, and even wireless charging. So a lot of perks now. Software support is literally one of my only issues with Motorola.
Im using the moto g power 2024 right now and i like it a lot camera is amazing i think and battery life is great stereo speakers on the phone and let me tell you it gets super loud and music is just amazing all in all its awesome
You are highly critical of a budget phone Edit I bought it and I have no issue with the display. It's very snappy overall as a device. It's gives my 1000$ iPhone a run for its money and I'm not even playing
They are fine for me. They get it done without making a mortgage payment. The 2024 lineup is sweet. The edge and stylus look great and have a HEADPHONE JACK! Big plus for me.
One thing you overlooked is the cable! This cable looks like it is of a usable length and must be a high power c-type data/charging variant, so at least you don't have to buy a proper cable. As far as the display goes, because it's LCD, you don't have to worry about Burn-In, which is one of the reasons why I ordered one.
The thing I love about Motorola phones is the camera & how good it is. I just went ta my local Verizon ta go look at it & I soon might buy it when I’m eligible ta upgrade. I had Samsungs, iPhones, etc. & now I can’t wait ta have a moto again. Love them phones.
As someone who has Motorola consistently on my radar (at the very least) when shopping for a new phone, i tend to get put my fists up when someone criticizes Moto devices. However, the area of criticism i honestly agree with is software support... Or lack thereof. I'm not under the impression that at this price, Motorola must cut corners to keep offering phones at this price (especially in the carrier dominated American marketplace) but to only offer a single update is almost an insult. Luckily on this years models of the G power and G Stylus, they at least released the phones on the current version of Android. (Which isn't usually the case in my past experiences) I'm writing this on my 2024 G Stylus, which I'm very happy with. I've used flagships from OnePlus, Samsung, and Google over the past 6 years, and i honestly don't have much to complain about even with the "outdated" processor. Performance is pretty snappy, especially with the increase to 8 gigs of ram. Makes all the difference. I can lock my phone in the middle of playing Diablo immortal and the next time I unlock my device, Diablo will still be running in the background. (Albeit with me being informed I was killed and asking me where to respawn, lol) Screen is perfectly usable outdoors, (please dont be let down by other devices claiming 3000+ nits of brightness, those are in very limited and specific situations, not sustained brightness) And battery life.... Wow. Having owned many an Android device , I'm no stranger to 5000mah batteries, but for whatever reason, im getting the best endurance on any phone I've ever had. By far. And I'm absolutely what you would consider a "power user". Always on my phone with UA-cam, UA-cam music, or pocketcasts running in the background while using various other apps. Easily 8+ hours screen on time with usually 20% battery left when I go to bed. And for only having 30w charging, this seems to juice up quicker than my OnePlus 7t with warp charge 30t, and my s10 lite with 45w charging. I cant explain why. I have yet to utilize the wireless charging. One thing I will note is that the back of the phone does heat up a bit more than I remember my other faster charging phones regardless of being in the case or not. Im using a 60w USB C PD brick with the Motorola included c to c cable, maybe its somehow managing to charge even quicker than advertised because of that.
Last year's phone had the same screen and was plenty bright. I had to give it to my mother who's phone blew up after dropping it in water. Going to order this 2024 version. This is a great phone! This review is biased AF!
I've been using Motorola phones since they first came out. I prefer a budget phone as I don't need all the bells and whistles that younger folks crave. I don't use it for gaming either. I just picked up this Moto G 5 2024 at Best Buy for $199 to replace my Moto G 2021 which is freezing up and lagging in performance. I've been waiting for Moto to get serious about quality and almost switched brands until this one caught my eye. Now I saw your review and that has reassured my decision. With unlimited Boost mobile at $25/mo, I feel I'm getting a great value for how I use this phone. A $1000 phone with $75/mo service just doesn't make sense to me.
I’ve had the Galaxy s20 ultra, Galaxy s21 ultra, the base model Galaxy s23, Galaxy a54, and now I have the iPhone 12 mini 128gb. I have noticed that I have headaches like crazy with the Oled displays. And not only that but I do not see the point in spending a lot of money on a phone now when they come out with the newest and “greatest” model every 11 months. I do not care to stay in debt all because of a phone every 11 months. With this phone having 120hz display, wireless charging, decent battery, pretty good display I’m picking it up at Walmart tomorrow for $100. I call that a win. And Motorola has decent phone and always have. The software updates aren’t really that important to me so long as the phone operates and functions as it should. This seemed like it was a hate video towards Motorola. If you want a $1,300 phone then go buy a New model iPhone or S series Galaxy. These phones are for us who cannot or do not want to purchase those insanely priced phones.
This phone is a beast! I can finally ditch my charger at night and still have juice left the next day. The stock android, the dimensity chip, and the huge battery make sure the battery lasts long.
The phone seems great with the added upgrades such as NFC, wireless charge, dual stereo speakers, and ram. I think that the "Power" needs to go as this phone is starting to blend in with the other Moto G variants. The more these phones start blending with the others, maybe it's time Motorola would start dropping the "Play", "Stylus" and "Power" and simply name it as, "G". And you are right, a few years ago, phones meant something with their names.
lI had a samsung phone once upon a time, for a week, and hated it. I used LG phones until they stopped production. And, that's when I began using Moto phones, and I like those. Thanks for your candid review!
Its the display that really holds it back. The Galaxy A25 and even the Nuu B30 Pro offer amoled displays for similar or cheaper price. Hard sell for Motorola.
@taryarwinhtet7653 Not if you take good care of it.. never had any burn ins on any of my phones when using them, the ones that have burn ins are just abused by their previous owners
This phone looks solid for $299 and everything it improved on. Motorola could have upped the peak brightness and put a bigger battery in it. They also desperately need to increase the years this phone will be supported because Google & Samsung are really good in that regard. Motorola makes really good phones but their software update policy is kind of a joke.
Me being an older person and having to use hearing aids, I love that this Motorola power g 2024 is able to connect to my hearing aids! I was told that it was highly possible that they would not sync together so I was very pleasantly surprised when they did. Now if I could just figure out why sometimes I cannot get a decent volume??
I got one at a cheaper price . Waiting for delivery . I've always liked them at a cheaper price . Hoping they bring back the FM radio with the headphone jack . I like Motorola over overrated Samsung phones .
One annoying thing that you touched on was the lack of a wall outlet adapter. I mean you get can them pretty cheaply on Ebay or Amazon, but it's a bit annoying. I am considering it along with getting it on the Visible network. It's a matter of which plan I choose with them.
@@PrayTellGaming I'm thinking of getting this phone as it has better memory and storage capacity, at least the version that can be used on the Visible network.

I own a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G from Xfinity Mobile which was a POS from day one, and still is. DO NOT buy any of their A series phones !! I'm getting a Motorola Power 5g 2024 from MINT Mobile with an awesome 5G plan discounted $50 for buying a new phone and a 12 month plan together. $130 plan for the 12 months total at this time. I can't wait for it to arrive !!
I love how he just complains about everything in this phone but realistically it’s at most a $80 phone for 99.99% of people who get it so it’s totally worth the price
I hope they upgrade the moto G stylus to better user friendly more powerful and even dynamic stylus would be nice. I would pay if it was worth the try.
Ok... So I just picked up the Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra for $220 'almost new looking'. So this phone at that price is unheard of. With that said. The Moto G Power 2024 is still an amazing phone. I actually picked up a 2nd G Power 2024 because Walmart had them on sale for $80. My daughter broke her iPhone and needed the G power I originally bought that is why I bought s22 ultra for myself and gave her the G Power 2024. She loves the G Power 2024. I offered to get her an iPhone the other day and she said 'dad I like this phone a lot can I keep it' I said definitely. So if a 15 year girl likes the phone over her iPhone 12 pro max then Moto is doing something right. The 2nd Moto G Power 2024 I bought is being left in the box as our families spare phone when one of us breaks our current phone. Stop thinking about it and just buy it. It's a freaking solid device.
Thanks for review, just grabbed one for free from Straight Talk. Shame they don't provide a charger anymore, but still have a Moto turbo charger from 2020. Funny to hear the constructive criticism Re: the video, just goes to show how far things have advanced in a short time........I remember like yesterday not wanting a cell phone, but was forced to take the cellphone by a company I worked for years ago. Before that, we were provided Nextel push to talk. Those were cool. Walkie Talkies for adults.
My Moto G power 2020 lasted longer battery wise... Screen was brighter also. There are some improvements here, but a lot more downgrades. I'm not impressed... "Power" used to mean something. This phone seems to drain fast even with lowered screen brightness and lowered to 60 refresh rate. It should have a 6000 MAH battery for sure. 30 W charging but No brick in the box!
Without a standard wall charger, how does a person go about charging this phone up? Does it require some kind of add on? If so, what and how much? Thank you
I have the original Moto G Power to up grade from Great Review. I was looking at the display in this review and was hoping it would be brighter. The Original G Power like mine, Moto made sure the phone was optimized for battery life in display, processor and stock Android Experience. My old phone still gives plenty of battery life. It still does the basics. I do not game. I don't load a bunch of apps. I shut the location off all of the time. I guess I will have to go to Samsung when I upgrade.
I wanted the Moto G power but I didn't have the extra $20 to spend at the moment as it's $69 on cricket, but I got the Moto G(2024) and so far so good. I did not like the Samsung A15/A25 they were slower. Hopefully I didn't make to big of a mistake not getting the G power. Great video
Motorola has too many phones in their G series lineup that are similar. Scrap the lineup and start fresh. Keep the G series but maybe only offer three phones. The G play at $150, the G 5G at $250 and the G stylus at $350. Power should be dropped since all of them have 5000 mAh batteries. That’s just my opinion.
I agree. With the way the G series has gone through changes, I believe Motorola needs to reboot the whole G series. They need 3 more premium yet affordable models. They could make the G 5g(base of the series), the G Plus, and the G Pro. The Plus would be the substitute for the Power and the Pro would be the substitute for the G Stylus. If Motorola started really focusing on making their G series more premium yet still affordable, people would buy them more. And at some point, Motorola/Lenovo has got to increase the number of OS updates and the years for security updates. If they put more effort into the G phones and added more support, I believe those phones might offer the best value for cost.
It's a decent mid-tier device The vegan leather back is great but I wish it was a little bit thicker to give it a more plush feel that would have added a much more premium feel because for me once it has been in my hand for a while you i didn't even realize it has the faux leather anymore I got it for just under a hundred at cricket as a customer upgrade. I was using the Moto g stylus 2022 4G model so this is a huge upgrade for me.
I went from motog stylus to samsung because my carrier said i needed it to go with my watch.. two months later, I was back to moto because the size of the phone and the easy operation, means the most to me. I also found that the Samsung watch app works with my Moto..so i felt this had been a sales pitch, or they didn't know it would work with the Moto. I have no complaints about this phone except the colors on the camera aren't as sharp as the Samsung but when prices mean a lot, I'll definitely stick with this phone until Elon comes out with the Tesla phone..lol... because the safety features will probably be superior... and in the future, that may be how we Vote, with the finger print ID.
Sorry to hear you got a bit duped, but that was 100% a sales pitch. Or perhaps the salesperson just didn't know. But any & all Android and/or iOS accessories basically work with all Android & iOS phones. You can use a Samsung Watch on a Moto, you can use AirPods on a Samsung smartphone...there are apps on all devices pretty much.
The 'Power' distinction is now the fact that it supports faster charging and wireless charging. Although that probably means the two G Styluses won't get wireless charging.
broke my beloved 2022 OnePlus Nord N20. That thing was bright as the sun and I love it. That's the only thing I'm dreading about this phone. Is it really dim?
I don't like that Motorola doesn't put NFC on its budget or mid-range phones like this one. Samsung does. NFC is essential for contactless pay (Google Pay) which is accepted at most business. Also, they only offer 2 years of Android updates which is not enough
My Moto g stylus 5g 2022 has NFC, 8G (UPGRADEABLE TO 10) RAM, 256 G INTERNAL PLUS 256G SD CARD STORAGE, 120 HZ REFRESH RATE, QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 665 (? I THINK) BUT NO WIRELESS CHARGING. DANGIT! BUT, I LOVE IT! USE IT WITH WALMART STRAIGHT TALK AND WILL NEVER SWITCH WILLINGLY 😂 GREAT PHONE
Well the "Power" can now mean the stronger CPU, more RAM, more cameras, etc ... Just overall being better than the lower tiers? Why nitpick on something so silly lol
I got the Motorola Moto 5 g Ace,for 69 dollars,why upgrade,basically same specs,and I still get 5 g.No updates,it ok,but they usually,hardly update there phone.Motorola is becoming a cheap company,with phones,ummm.Great video man!

Have they been labourious and willing to work like in history, rest of the world would have got the next level products with great quality and no compromise.
Yay Motorola 🎉🎉🎉. Yeah idk what the power means now. Maybe because of the RAM. It gets 8 gigs
I need an lcd display, oled will just screen burn after a month for me 😂
Throw a 6,000 milliamp hour battery up in there
Do you know if you can zoom in using the rear-facing camera?
Mine works just fine
Thanks for review, just grabbed one for free from Straight Talk. Shame they don't provide a charger anymore, but still have a Moto turbo charger from 2020. Funny to hear the constructive criticism Re: the video, just goes to show how far things have advanced in a short time........I remember like yesterday not wanting a cell phone, but was forced to take the cellphone by a company I worked for years ago. Before that, we were provided Nextel push to talk. Those were cool. Walkie Talkies for adults.
I was thinking of getting this but for an extra 100 am gonna get the Think Phone
The Samsung A-series of 2024 is leading the low end to the mid range phones. High end that’s a personal preference.
Upgraded camera AND a headphone jack? Sign me up!
Samsung is packed full of third party apps.idk what your talking about.
At this point amoled should be standard among all phones
The 'Power' distinction is now the fact that it supports faster charging and wireless charging. Although that probably means the two G Styluses won't get wireless charging.
Does it have an event indicator?
For 300 dollars they should a least give you 3 software updates
Everything people are saying about moto phones
they were saying about LG phones a couple of years ago before LG stopped making phones
broke my beloved 2022 OnePlus Nord N20. That thing was bright as the sun and I love it. That's the only thing I'm dreading about this phone. Is it really dim?
Is the moto g power 2024 the same as moto g73 in europe?
This phone is fine, but I like Moto Edge Ceres more.
And NFC
This is probably the last phone that is decent for people in the US who suffer from the OLED eye curse.
Yo Wade! You should review an Infinix phone someday. I heard they're really good for the money and i'm curious on what you think about it :)
in Bulgaria we have "Moto G54 Power" with Dimensity 7020, 12Gb ram and 6000mAh + 33W charger in the box for 200 euro 😛
That color looks like my Galaxy S23 lavender. 🤣
8:31 Technically, the Dimensity 7020 is just a rebranded Dimensity 930.
That's right who can afford $1,000 phone these days?
@@frankjgornickjr3676 Not me. Even if I could 50% of the price gets you 80% of the way there in terms of features, so there's no reason.
I just pick one up yesterday from target I paid 99.99 for it and my came with a charger brick in the box maybe cause it’s AT&T
12:39 - look at zadddddiiiii😂😂🎉❤
This Moto G Power 5G seems like a great deal! Anyone know how the Dimensity 7020 handles Genshin Impact?
Gpower 5G are good phone
Just read about the brand new Moto g stylus 5g 2024 8/256. Sounds delish!
Can you review the new 2024 Moto G Stylus? Yes, it now (finally!) has a P-OLED display.
What about edge plus 2024
Good luck with Chrome browser on that. In a week or two you'll have to install Firefox.
Chrome browser is 💩 anyways..No loss there
I have Moto g power from Verizon It under 200 dollar
Micro SD slot and headphone jack is the only thing saving this phone.
At 3:00 did you mean to include the Moto G Play?🤔😁
Well the "Power" can now mean the stronger CPU, more RAM, more cameras, etc ... Just overall being better than the lower tiers? Why nitpick on something so silly lol
I got the Motorola Moto 5 g Ace,for 69 dollars,why upgrade,basically same specs,and I still get 5 g.No updates,it ok,but they usually,hardly update there phone.Motorola is becoming a cheap company,with phones,ummm.Great video man!
my fucking moto g ace 5g broke and it was the best and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than this phone!!!
The whole point of the power was the fact the battery was 6000 mah! This is literally just a moto g play
India ❤❤❤
I'm so pissed because no phone is worth it if you can't move apps to SD I'm literally stuck with this phone until I'm able to get me something else
what do you not like about this phone???
Do anybody want to accept Jesus Christ as your savior he want to accept Jesus Christ as your savior he want to give you love peace and happiness and joy and salvation and eternal life if you confess your sin
No

He does savior, he does bring love, peace, hapinnes joy but not salvation and eternal life. He's not a god
@@scavarestrovao6196 shut up satan
lcd and 1080p recording for 300$ ???
bro A25 here costs 250$ and gives you 4k and amoled 1000 nits panel
I personally think that the Samsung Galaxy A 25 is a much better phone for the money.
well this is new, very new video on front page
It seems like most people on here absolutely love Motorola phones never having a Motorola phone in my life. I have had nothing but problems with this phone since I first purchased it and it's only been less than a month since I've owned it I absolutely cannot wait to buy a new phone I will never buy a Motorola phone again I've learned my lesson
I have had zero issues with Motorola...what are your issues?
@@Anth230 it kicks me off the internet constantly and unlike my old phone I was only having to use one button to turn it on and off this Motorola I have to put in push in rather two buttons to turn it on and off I can't turn it on without seeing that stupid little green alien unless I turn it on while it's still on the charger in the morning. I don't know if it's because it's a 5G or not that I'm constantly getting kicked off the internet and then it connects me back on or I have to completely restart my phone for it to connect to the internet again and someone with my cell phone dealer said where exactly do you live I told them my exact address and they said on the map you have wonderful 5G coverage I don't understand why you're having these issues.
Why are still usn it. ing Power name on this phone if they want put a bigger battery i
Lcd display in 2024 motorola have lost the plot under lenovo!
Indian motorola have better products
The moto *cheap* power
I just got my moto g power 5G 2024 and I do not like it. I have had motorolas for the last years, my lastest was moto g power 2021. This 2024 is by far the worse! Tech daily makes it look so simple to use but it is not simple to swipe between screens The one I received did not have the same navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen.
That’s just a setting you change. Gestures vs buttons.
It's odd how little people know about phones in this country lol@@mbuckley925
11:44 The camera now has OIS (the 2023 model did not) - it says OIS on the back of the phone.
Edit: Apologies, you mention it at 12:14.
you couldn't wait 30 seconds lmao
This phone is definitely not mid range! The moto edge 2024 is mid range and that makes this phone look like a potato 🥔
I don't know why they just won't put in an amoled display i have a moto g power 2023 the phone is fine but I would like to have a brighter screen for sore
Sure
Bro my moto phone from 2016 had the same screen 😂
No they didn't bring anything good to the table
Its sad to see west has become almost totally dependent on china for most of the gadgets and many more products. When they review, their dependency and laziness comes to mind. Have they been labourious and willing to work like in history, rest of the world would have got the next level products with great quality and no compromise. But sadly they became a buyer instead of supplier, loosing the due respect for the intelligence they genetically actually deserve. Products of destruction is one of the few segments which is an exception and where they still excel and dominate
Second!!
It's a piece of junk
No it's not worth it, unless you're getting it for free
moto g power of DIESOFCRINGE
