    this channel is awesome I have always had tonsil issues and just yesterday realized that tonsil stones can be unseen and hide behind my tonsils in the deep crevices. I already bought the mouth wash and water irrigation device you prioritize and im excited to continue pursing health and wellness. I have had so many viral infections ( i was debated a tonsillectomy) and instead of being a victim I used the internet to learn and now with this there is so much hope. Thanks dude

    You should try using the tonsil stone dissolving concoction in the water injector (apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and Himalayan salt)

    I suffer from tonsil stones as well and my breath reeks . It sucks because i work in customer service so I’m always afraid people are gonna smell it . I’m to the point where my bad breath has honestly depressed me and has me feeling hopeless because I’ve tried almost eveything to fix it .
    Have you ever considered a tonsillectomy ?
    I’m seriously considering it but i heard it was beyond painful recovery

      I know what you mean! I've considered it before but realized that I sometimes get tonsil stones in what feels like near my adams apple (lingual tonsils), so removing my tonsils wont completely make it go away. I've heard of a much better procedure called "laser cryptolysis" that is much less painful that will achieve the same results.

      @@TonsilTamer how did you get rid of those tonsil stones, the lingual tonsils? also, I was curious how long it took for you to be comfortable with poking around in the tonsils. I've hurt my tonsils a couple of times with the waterpik and am now nervous again

    I noticed my first tonsil stone today after feeling something small stuck in my throat almost. I looked deep into my throat with a torch and BAM, there it was in all its glory. Since then i've tried removal with a cotton bud and all sorts but my mouth it just too small, and tongue too big to even get back there - not to mention all I do is gag and then back out. I am afraid to get anyone else to do it for me either but I tried just coughing loads today and noticed it was gone after. Behind the one that WAS there, was a smaller one deeper down in my throat that I hadnt noticed before and I am kind of just panicking because I refuse to stick things down my throat when I can't really see what I'm doing.. but of course I don't want anything serious to come of it if I just leave my little tonsil stones to it. What do you think?

    Hey! I have tonsil stones and I clean them oftenly. I gargle after meals with sometimes medical gargles and sometimes with just salt water. But even though they seem clean, when I touch them with my finger it still smells like death. So can I get rid of the smell by these tools?

    The irrigator also works for the gums notches that are formed right behind the last tooth on either side . Mine is especially deep on the left bottom and thanks to this I can flush out a bunch of crap I never knew I had .

    Ok, here is my problem. And I have not been able to find one video on this. My stones are hidden. They don’t peak out like every video shows!!! I have had some that did before and those are very easy to remove. I know they’re there because if I hit the right spot for a spec it pops, but I’m not able to remove the stones entirely. Since I can’t see them I have no idea where I should be looking for them. Can you tell us more about where the crypts actually are or how they work if you know....? I can taste them sometimes too so I know they’re there....cannot find them so I’m extremely sore after. I use a water-pik also which works sometimes. I feel like mine are sooooo deep. Totally trying your gargle solution! Thank you!!!
    #frustrated 😞

      This sounds gross as hell, but it's quick to do and seriously works.
      I use my (very clean) finger to prod one one side of my tonsils at a time, then give it a deep, courageous sniff. If there was a tonsil stone at the side I was poking around, my finger will have that dreaded, classic, super-rich rotten smell
      Once you've determined which side the stink is coming from, you can then repeat the prod-and-sniff process, going from the palatine tonsils, all the way to the ones at the back of your throat to get a precise bead on where exactly the stone(s) are.
      This saves me a bunch of time and effort blasting into areas that don't need to be cleared out.

      @@hellion83 Thanks for the tip. That is good to know! Since I posted this, I purchased on Amazon dental irrigation syringes with the curved tip. This has helped me a lot in removing stones. They have been a life saver and less painful than a waterpik. I irrigate using salt water or Therabreath. His homemade apple cider gargle helps a lot too. Routine care is definitely the way to maintain these horrid things!

    Why is it not better to remove the tonsils? My teen son's ent wants to give him surgery for harsh snoring by removing the tonsils :( my son says he gets those smelly stones often as Ive had myself over years occasionally. Surgery is coming up and my gut feeling is that he needs his tonsils not to be removed. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your journey

    Hello.
    I actually bought one of the tonsil stones removal kits you recommended and I used it to remove A LOT of stones
    i've been struggling with it for months but i just wanna ask like does this ever go away ??
    also what should I do right after removing the stones? I feel like my tonsils are stretched
    is it okay to eat ? I feel like if I eat anything they're gonna get trapped in there right away

    • @TonsilTamer
      @TonsilTamer  4 роки тому +3

      It will never really go away without a tonsillectomy (but you can still get stones in your lingual tonsils). The best practice is "preventative maintenance". Right after you remove the stones you should gargle with an oxygenating mouthwash to get some oxygen back there.

    • @joybarker7906
      @joybarker7906 4 роки тому

      Are they actually stones though? White/bloody pus spots can be a sign of strep throat. Us the back of your throat also very swollen? Is it difficult to swallow?
      If either answer is yes I def recommend having your throat swabbed by Dr, theu have a quick strep culture test that allows for a result while you wait.
