I want to somehow connect with Guy and bow down to him with utmost respect for his excellence in riding and representing the greatest community of riders around the world. My dad was an avid rider and he did Pune to Kashmir on 1 Jawa and 1 Yezdi with 2 of his friends back in 1987, just few months before I was born. Unfortunately he passed away on his motorbike in 2002 and I always wished that I could take him to see Isle of Man TT. If opportunity comes to my life I am going to visit Isle of Man TT in this lifetime and bow down to the truest and most skillful of riders and crews as a true respect to my late father.

Ive been to India and purchased a bike and ridden across it. You think you’re doing something unique. You wouldn’t believe how many middle age white blokes are doing the same thing. To the locals he’s just another punter looking for a bike. He knows what he wants though. That’s the best advice i can give anyone looking to do this. Go searching as if you were shopping locally. Take your time.
He’s just a legend. Most people half as famous change the way they speak, hold themselves, dress... this guy has literally never changed (no pun intended)
The sad part is no one recognized the legend that he is. I d ve given him that bike for free if I owned a business in return for his autograph on the bike when he d be done with it and was ready to go home.

a lot of shows that air on tv don't get the music cleared for web, so they have to remove/replace it for web versions, and the mix suffers because someone just slaps it on.
He's under a bit of stress at the moment. He is in trouble with the UK Driving licence authorities (DVLA) and has apperared in court accused of using a fake driving licence.
i would have given mine to him for any number of weeks and many would have if they knew he's coming to India. There are many bike groups who would love to see him

I got the opportunity to watch the TT race in 2017 and meet a lot of racers including McGuinness, Hutchy, Bruce and Guy. All humble and down to earth individuals. A lot of people I met on the island were surprised to know that we follow the TT races here in India :) Watching the TT race for the first time is an incredible experience, nothing comes close to it!

Lali's mechanic went through the bike with me double checking everything, and I set off on a four-week tour with spare parts and tools provided in my cases. If you have ever ridden in India then you know the beating those bikes take. The bike didn't let me down once.
At the end of this series he put the bike in a garage in India and said he was going to ride it back to the UK one day, I would love to see this as a series..

Did he give you the original registration papers,....Selling it without these is a nightmare. Actually buying an Enfield is also a nightmare, better of with a Bajaj, Avenger....much smoother and much more reliable, but I guess you will work that out as you go...Enjoy.

In the eighties I drove around Rajasthan on an Enfield 350, just payed 1200 roepies for a month`s renth... Great experience, first time driving on the left side of the road as a dutchie in, of all places, India...
