In session for the Bruce Canepa masterclass! Glad you guys let him talk, not much too add with that much racing experience and business acumen. Bruce is amazing.
As an owners son of 16 back in 1959 , my father bought a 356 Cabriolet 1600. In the eastern US, there weren't many Porsche's seen on the streets. I owned a 1957 Ford Skyliner, so when I first drove the superb handling Porsche I couldn't believe it's cornering abilities. His upgrades on the engines, suspension, paint and body, etc, are phenomenal, to say the least...I loved this video from the Audrain Museum, you have got to do a part 2 and so on here, great video guys!
Awesome shop tour! I was sitting up at Devil’s Playground in 2000 when Bruce ran his big rig up America’s Mountain. Absolutely BAD ASS! I’d love to see that again!
I am appreciated with your youtube site and especially this interview. One thing that you may take to heart, in the future you don't need to keep responding with "Yup" after every sentence from Bruce...just mentioning.
I hope one day your team visits Paul Russell's shop. Just when I think Simon Kidston has thee best job/career EVER, I watch the Friday night /Saturday Canepa vids and think ok maybe it's a tie? Thank you for this vid.
Love seeing Canepa but please inform the camera operator to SHOW THE CARS NOT ONLY THE PEOPLE. Such a rare look behind a place like that but only showed Bruce and the guys chatting. Let's point that camera inside and all around the cars would be amazing.
If you want to make big oly safe to drive, you need to fix the steering. It has horrible bump steer. It is the major contributing factor to it rolling. Put in 2 swingers and a center link so that you can have correct length and pivot points for the tie rods. No it's not original, but it's a race car, not a museum queen.
Wish the camera guy recorded more car footage instead of just the guys talking. Would have been nice to have it as a voiceover while showing the car he’s talking about.
Please hold back on the endless stream of "YUP"....."YUP"..........."YA" ....."RIGHT".....it's a nervous tick but if on camera, work on controlling it better as it cuts the guest off and makes great content difficult to watch. Nothing personal and love the content

Porsche were always 10 or 20 years ahead of everyone else? What a risible thing to say. Compare a contemporary Porsche to a Mira, or a McLaren F1, both of which were way ahead technologically. Or a Lotus Elise with a 90s Boxster. Again, no comparison. Don’t get me wrong, Porsches are great cars to drive (I used to have an air cooled 911), and they’ve always gone racing, which I respect, but they’ve rarely been on the cutting edge of technology.
