This video will detail how to install your Boost Auto Parts towing mirrors onto your 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2003-2009 Ram 2500 / 3500 (including Cummins). This is for Boost Auto Parts Dodge tow mirrors without power fold. If you have Boost Auto Parts 2002-2008 Ram 1500 or 2003-2009 Ram 2500/3500 mirrors WITH power fold, please reference a separate Boost Auto Parts video.
This video includes tow mirrors with running light and signal. The video covers the mirror mounting as well as the wiring for all of the lighting features. The video covers the mirror installation as well as wiring.

Where does the black wire with white tracer go from the harness in the video? Or does it get used? There’s nothing about it in the video. Also what about the harness from the passenger side? Does it get run across the interior to the driver side and go out that way? Do they both get wired to the drv light besides the blue wire? Got a set of these mirrors coming this week and want to get them installed so been trying to do my research before they show up
Black wire with white tracer likely won't be on your mirrors - it is a ground wire. Passenger gets ran across to the drivers side. Feel free to give us a call at 765-831-2830 - we have a trained support team who can better assist with all of your questions.
are you guys possibly working on 5th gen style mirrors were the spotter/blindspot mirror is power??

Dumb question, where do you connect the turn signal wires
They get tapped at the front light - it is detailed in this video
When i did this i put mine in the socket and now my front blinker does not work but my rear does but my constant is still working. I cannot figure it out

How about the running light for passenger?
Both orange wires are tapped to the same location.
Does anyone know where to find the extension harnesses? I bought a set of two mirrors with lights that didn't come with the harnesses

What do you do with the orange wire on the passenger side ?
Splice it to the orange wire on the drivers side.
Why would this not be included in the video?
Is the wiring the same if I ordered the switchbacks for the White LED running lights?

Got mine on and all wired up aside from the right side running light because they only came with 3 fused connectors instead of 4. Can I get away with just tapping the passenger side running light in directly without the fuse?
@@jninefive.6495 they are only supposed to come with 3 taps. For the running light you should put both wires into the one tap.
