what difficulties will student face shifting from CBSE to A level or IB for class XI & XII

Hey, I shifted from I.C.S.E to A levels last year, just to clarify all qualifications for further education is intensive but when you shift from an Indian board to a British one, subjects based on humanities such as Geography, history or English becomes more rigorous and intensive but on the other hand you should be ahead of the class if you are going to do the core Science and Maths ... Hope this helps..( UCAS has given three different natures of subjects depending on its difficulty, Core being the hardest( maths Eng, Science) then Facilitating subjects( Economics, History, Geography, Languages) followed by Soft subjects such as Psychology, business ,Creative writing and so forth...aka non-traditionals

@@tortlaw1496 Hey, thank you for the information, but I had one more question.
Do we get to choose between the core, Facilitating and soft subjects?
like can we pick one or two subjects from each and then go forward with it?
for example, if I want to study core biology, but not physics and chemistry...can we do that?

Hi..my son studies in Hk and he is currently giving his igcse exams for year 10... and we will be relocating to Vietnam shortly so there r no A level schools in Vietnam, our son is not too keen on IB as he is more comfortable with a levels and wants to pursue business, he has cleared his IB interviews in the required school in Vietnam, but we as parents don’t want him to feel pressured for the same, what do you suggest for him, he is not so keen but will take is as a challenge if required is that really ideal to pursue IB?
